Chapter 3 The deal.

Wait what ,why do you want to come are you in love with someone or you suddenly miss highschool?And also since when do you like crowd?Look if you're worried about me staying out that late after lying to me parents,don't be I'll be fine I mean it's not the first time I'll have done that it just that this time I'll stay out too late ,"said Ella after coming back to her senses from mini shock Cliff had given her.Hearing her rant Cliff could not stop himself from rolling his eyes at her.

"What crush and missing highschool?And I still hate crowds I just have someone who would like to attend a party that's all if you agree to this then we have a deal,"said Cliff as he eyed her wishing for the conversation to end quick as Ella was quite a chatter box .

"Well wow I wonder who's this lucky mysterious person.But it will be hard as we have to have invites to enter I mean I don't even have yours since I thought you would not be interested in going.But don't worry I'll ask Ava about it and see whether I'll get extra invites,"Ella said eyeing him mysteriously as if expecting to know the name of the mystery girl or so she thought.

Cliff who was already tired of the girls talking and questioning did not even respond to her questioning and just dismissed her after telling her to find him after getting two extra invites .But he really couldn't blame her for her reaction since he was always a quiet person and not really interactive with people hence he was not really surprised of her reaction."Maybe I should have been a bit more social?I hope it doesn't affect the plan but I'll still have some side plans just in case ,"he thought as he a deep frown formed on his face ."Well forget it the plan must go on I've been planning for 9 years I don't think anything will go wrong I just hope that brat doesn't disappoint me,"he thought as he quickly finished setting up everything and opening the store at around 8 in the morning.

"Hey Cliff,I just finished talking with my girlfriend about the invitations and turns out they're not really required as we are not attending the main party,"said Ella as she reappeard suddenly. Cliff who was starting to have a frown expecting another hour talk from the girl who usually acted aloof to Cliffs cold nature suddenly formed a slight smile barely noticeable after hearing her words."Yeah turns out the night party is just an all teen and friends party and the main thing is during the day so yeah no invitations needed just friends can go,"she said to him ,so " are you going to help me or not I mean you can come now ."

This interrupted his thoughts where he was regretting telling her about going with someone as he cussed her for not knowing the details of the party first before talking as he was jolted back to reality with her asking him if they had a deal or not."Yeah sure, I'll help you convince Mr.Chen to let you go out and accompany you there so no yeah leave that to me ,"he answered"But you still owe me a favor after since you didn't get any invites for me ,"he added . "Wait really ? you'll do it ? Thank you,I thought you'd refuse since I am not helping in anyway and don't worry I now owe you one ,"she replied happily quickly leaving him alone as if afraid he'd go back on his word and also probably to share the news with her girlfriend leaving Cliff on the midst of asking if there was any dress code.

With a slightly amused face he shook his head and just went on his work as he waited for customers .
