Chapter-2

Jujutsu High, Tokyo.

-Maki Zen'in-

It has been a few months since Sukuna joined the Jujutsu High. In these few months he has went on a lot of missions, both alone and with his classmates and seniors, his seniors though both doesn't seem to care about his origin while his classmates got used to it.

He is learning in a very fast rate, on par with Yuta, in all fields. Be it weapons, veils or any other stuff they are both learning very fast, and if what Principal Yaga said is true, they shold be on the levels of That idiot within a few years.

Well they both are monster so I'm not jealous.

Not at all.

….

Ahhh why couldn't it be me who is able to learn everything that quickly and still be all cool and nonchalant about it.

Currently It is night time and I'm sulking in my classroom since this morning I was assigned a mission with Sukuna, it was supposed to be a simple mission but the curse turned out to be a Grade-1, It would have been fine if that was it but I just had to get cauptured in it's technique. It's technique allowed it to control anyone who had less cursed energy than it, and I who have no cursed energy is just a open target. In the end I was a liability to Sukuna and if it wasn't for him I would have died.

Suddenly I hear the door open, and turn to see the sight of Sukuna, wearing pink coloured pijamas and holding two popsicle in his hands.

"What are you doing here?"  He asked.

"I should be asking you that."

Why is this guy even here? Can't I even sulk by myself.

He came closer to me and handed the blue popsicle and went to sit on top of the teacher's desk while liking his popsicle.

Not gonna lie this popsicle tasted good, at least he has good taste.

"You still haven't answered me" I ask.

He licked his popsicle for one last time and ate the whole thing, guess he dosen't feel cold.

"You seemed sad after the mission, I saw this method in Naruto where his sensei gave him popsicle to cheer him up whenever he was depressed."

He saw this from an anime? And this guy has free time to watch anime while I'm working my ass out and still lose to him in a hand-to-hand fight. 

Life is too unfair. First Yuta and now him. What will happen next year? Currently I'm the weakest student in the campus will someone weaker than me appear in next year?

"You seriously thought it would work?"

"Did it?"

Damn it did.

"No"

Why does he look slightly sad? Come to think of it he's showing more emotions compared to when he just joined. At first when a civilian is taken as a hostage he would just kill the curse not caring about the civilians, though none died he looked like he dosen't care even if they died. But now he is atleast showing concern for them.

Why is he keep staring at me like that? Does he want to say something?

"Just ask instead of staring."  He looked slightly cute though.

…

What did I just think? Huh i Can't remember, must be my imagination.

"Why are you so weak?"

… 

My whole life is damaged by that one sentence.

"Don't take me wrong, you are more hard working and experienced than me but why are you still weak? I can't even sense cursed energy from you?"

Does this guy want to brag? Though he is not wrong it still hurts. 

It isn't his mistake Maki, he's new to this and isn't even a human. I'll just have to explain it to him.

"Do you know what an Heavenly Restriction is?"

"Is it similar to the binding vow that Yaga-san told us about?"

"Yeah except it isin't a choice like binding vow, heavenly restriction is random, for me it took all me cursed energy." 

That's the reason my whole family ostracised me. Tch who needed them in the first place, I'll make them feel bad for treating me like that, by becoming a grade-1 sorcerer.

"In exchange for what was your cursed energy taken?"

"Nothing. I got nothing in return." I sighed, it would have been great if I got something in exchange.

"How is that possible? Doesn't it work in equal exchange"

I wish it did Sukuna, I really wished.

"So that's why you are like this huh?" He said as he got up from his seat.

"Don't be sad Maki, you are a strong and beautiful woman" 

Beautiful? It's been a while… wait, has anyone ever called me beautiful? This may be the first time someone called me that.

*Pat*

Huh, my head feel soft and my chest feels weird, why is my heart beating this fast.

I just sat there with the popsicle stick in my hand, it just melted as I sat with shock.

That guy just patted my head and said all those things and just left.

That… Idiot. But why am I this flushtured?

September, Jujutsu High, Tokyo.

"Why is Maki avoiding you from this morning Sukuna? Did you do exactly as I said?" Panda who is sitting beside Sukuna after his morning workout asked.

"I don't know. I did it exactly like you said but she is still avoiding me." He said while drinking water. After seeing him avoid since their mission he asked Panda for advice, but panda being panda gave an advice which.. Well complicated things.

"Hmm… but my brother said it would work" Panda muttered to himself.

"Mayo" Toge just shook his head.

"Hey Sukuna! Panda! Come over here!" Yuta's voice came from a distance, making the trio change their focus.

The trio stood up and went to their classroom. Inside the class room was Gojo who was standing behind the teacher's desk, Yuta who was sitting on one of the chair and Maki who was sitting on a table.

"Hmph" Maki turned her head away the moment she saw Sukuna, leaving him in confusion. 

"Why did you call us all here sensei?" Yuta asked while awkwardly trying to not laugh at Maki's behaviour.

"I have a serious matter to tell you" Gojo said with his upmost seriousness. 

All the students who were nonchalant and Maki who tried not to look at Sukuna, became serious and listened with most focus.

"One of you here will be participating in the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event taking place in Kyoto to match the numbers."

"That's it?" Yuta asked while all the remaining just sighed.

"Yeah, that's it" Gojo said while looking proud.

"So which one of us is gonna go?" Sukuna asked, he was down for it as long as the others didn't have any opposition.

"You decide among yourself." Gojo just put his responsibility on them.

…

"Should I go and bring in the straws?" Yuta asked after all of them just stared at each other expect Sukuna who kept staring at Maki while she avoided looking at him

"Please" Panda thanked

"Tuna" Toge nodded.

While Yuta went Gojo came closer to Panda and whispered to his ears,

"What happened in between them? Did I miss stuff?"

"Just a lovers quarrel. We should be safe as long as we stayed afar" Panda borrowed his brother's wise words and said.

"Ahh youth, must be nice to be young." Gojo said dramatically while crying fake tears.

"Fish Flakes" Toge face palmed.

"So you're the first year who's gonna fill in?" Hikari Kinji, the second-year jujutsu high student, a gambling addict and someone who is said to to have potential to surpass the strongest sorcerer Gojo Satoru, by gojo himself.

Hikari Kinji, Hoshi Kirara and Ryoumen Sukuna, all the the participants of Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event from Tokyo Jujutsu high gathered here to plan on ow to fight.

Sukuna was the lucky one who got the short end of the straw so he had to participate in this event.

"It's my first time seeing a curse-human hybrid." Kirara said while she poked all of his 4 arms, checking if they were real.

"Yeah" Hikari sighed and pulled Kirara back.

"Say about yourself Sukuna, your name feels weird." Hikari said.

"Do everyone stare at you in public because if your arms?" Kiara asked.

"Ryomen Sukuna, human-curse hybrid, special-grade." 

"That we know, I'm asking about what can you do?" Hikari asked, gradually loosing his patience. He would rather finish the event himself without wasting time, though Todo may be a hassle, he is still confident that he would win. His sensei asked him to let Sukuna fight alone to let him experience the battle and he too agreed as it would be a fun match to watch. He is curious to see if Sukuna's grade parallels his skill and power.

"I am proficient in hand-to-hand combat, using cursed tools and can fight from a longer range using my cursed technique." Sukuna replied, he didn't explain it but his physiology gives him strength and toughness far greater than normal sorcerers. His blood is poisonus and he can survive as long as he has cursed energy remaining.

"Hmm.. Gojo-sensei asked me and Kiara to stay back from the fight, he told that he wanted to see your improvement, are you ok with that?" Hikari didn't hide and asked him.

"Hmm… I'm ok with that, how strong are the Kyoto school students?" Sukuna didn't find his sensei's behaviour odd as he has come to terms with it, his sensei was a weird guy. From watching many animes in his free time he concluded his sensei was the main character material.

"They are a total of three students who's be competing, you have to be carful about just one guy named Aoi Todo, he's strong , the others you can swoop easily" Hikari answered while leaning back on the chair.

"Which grade are you both?" Sukuna asked, he has heard about them from Panda and Inumaki but has never met them in person.

"You don't know?" Hikari raised his eyebrow, "I should attend school once in a while, it seems I will be forgotten by the new students."

"Panda and Toge did mention about you but they never said much detail." Sukuna said while hiding the fact that both of them mentioned that he was a good-for-nothing muscle head.

"Well I should introduce myself properly, I am Kenji Hakari, a grade-1 jujutsu sorcerer, second-year at jujutsu high."

"This is Kirara Hoshi, she is a grade-2 sorcerer, second-year"

"So what's the plan, if I fight what will you both do?"

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that."

-Aoi Todo-

"Kill the human-curse hybrid, Ryomen Sukuna. He's just an abomination that shouldn't exist. He is not a person, so we can just scratch down everything like it's an accident. Don't hold back cause he won't." 

The old geezer of a principal said. He is too old for this can't he just retire?

"But can we even do it? He's a special grade after all?" Noritoshi asked. This guy aims to be a clan leader and still is following others. If he was not as boring as this he could have been stronger.

"He may be a special grade but he is new to all this. If what gojo said is true he is less than a year old."

Did getting old rot his brain? He just said he's not a human and he's considering his potential to be human? 

If Gojo is the one who brought him in he may not be a bad guy. I sould ask what's his type of women to know his character. After all if he likes woman, he is already a human to me.

"Make sure you exorcise his properly, don't hold back."

Fuck time is getting wasted, I have to go soon or I'll miss Takada-chan.

"This is pointess. You do as you will" I kicked the door open and was about to go out.

"Come back Todo, The principal is still talking" Noritoshi stopped me.

Like I care aout his plans, if this guy is stupid enough to test Gojo Satoru's patience knowing that he can destroy the whole Jujutsu Association within a day if he pleased I didn't know someone more dumber than him.

"Takada-chan's fan meet is today 7PM, Do I really have to explain myself?"

I should be the first in line for my Takada-chan.

"It's 11 AM. I think you'll have time for that later." 

"I'll be the first on line to get her autograph and take a photo with her."

"Listen you Bastards. I have long been disappointed by you folks who have no taste in women. So go all scheming you want but the next time you try to order me arround, I'll kill you. And that includes you too old man."

I just left the room.

It's just as Yuki-sensei said, the jujutsu society is just rotten. But I don't care. I have to go watch the recording of Takada-chan cooking. I have to heal my soul after hearing all this crap. The first even should start on 12 AM right? I still have an hour left. If I increased the playback speed to the maximum I should be able to see it atleast 4 times.

"-3rd Person's POV-

"First Event of Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event is Sprit Bash Race. A second-grade cursed sprit is released in the school grounds and the first team to exorcise it wins! Various third-grade and lower curses are alos released and if the match isin't decided by the sunset, the team with most points wins." Yaga, the principal of Jujutsu high, Tokyo announced to all the participants through the mic.

"We'll just stay here in the starting line while you fight, do you want us to exorcise the curse?" Hakiri said to Sukuna who was leaning on to the pillar near the starting line with his hands folded. He wore the same uniform he regularly wore as it was the only dress which had big enough hole for all of his arms.

"It's fine with me. And please don't exorcise the curse till I finish my fight" Sukuna nodded. He is a little disappointed as his friends aren't here, they are in Tokyo while he is in Kyoto. He too wanted to be with them, he did't like being alone.

"Ok" Hakari said as he stretched his body. Kirara who was standing beside him yanwned, she did't have a wink of sleep last night.

"Finish it soon Sukuna, I want to sleep" Kirara said.

"I'll try"

"1 minute until the even starts, now let us hear some lovely words of encouragement from our beloved Utahime-sensei?" Gojo annoused through the speaker.

"Emm.. Eh… It can't be helped if someone got hurt… Help each other and stuff…"

"Times Up!"

"Wha- Gojo!"

"And not the sister school's tournament… BEGINS!"

-Aoi Todo-

I didn't bother staying with Noritoshi and Momo and just rushed towards where I feel the most cursed energy from.

That must be Sukuna's, I can't even see the end of is cursed energy. He must be stronger than I thought.

Things are getting more interesting.

I finally see him, he's just as the old man described, He looked just like a human but he had two pair of arms and eyes. It would be a hastle to fight him close.

We both stopped after seeing each other. He looked cold with his eyes lacking any emotions though I can feel his exitement lightly. Unlike what I expected he too is alone and I can't feel any other cursed energy except his in my range, so he too is alone. Now that I am close I can feel his cursed energy being a lot sharper, If I don't constantly reinforce my body with cursed energy it will definetly prick me and he is probably not using his full output. That old man was worng, he made a mistake by assuming that his talent to be that of a human.

"You're Aoi Todo right? I was told you are strong."

I immediately rush at him and punched with infusing my arms with cursed energy. He blocked by crossing his arms while he slid back.

Damn it feels like hitting a rock which is as sharp as a knife. Though it did cut it hurts like hell.

"Not bad." 

He muttered but I didn't wait and immediately rush at him and kept on punching him but he kept doging. 

He is quick. I should step things up.

He quickly caught both of my hands with two of his hands. 

"Nice strength and speed for a first year." I said.

"Thanks" 

I jump and kick his stomach but I forgot a crucial detail, he had 4 arms. He caught my leg and threw me.

I broke through some trees and finally landed on the ground.

Haaa… This is amazing.

I feel danger and exitement after a long time.

"Ryomen Sukuna"

"You can just call me Sukuna"

What a nice guy, and that old guy wants me to kill him?

"Very well Sukuna, then call me Aoi."

"Ok"

"I have a question for you Sukuna, What ind of girl is your type?" This is the most important thing that will determine our relationship Sukuna.

"Huh? Can you elaborate further?" 

…

Oh he's less than a year old isin't he?

"What girl do you like?"

"Girl… Then Maki. I like her"

I see we are no different. I like Takada-chan and you like Maki. 

…Ahhhh where have you been this long? I finally meet someone my age who is not boring and understands me and appreciate women.

"My brother…"

"Huh?"

"Where have you been this long MY BROTHER!?"

"I was burried underground, but how am I your brother?"

"I don't care! Now I won't hold back brother!"

-3rd Person's POV-

They both rushed at each other as they exchanged blows after blows, but Sukuna seemed to have the upper hand as Todo was slowly being pushed back. Sukuna abused his advantage of having 4 arms lagainst Todo who struggled to keep up.

Sukuna Landed a direct blow to Todo's chin as he flew back and fell down on floor.

Momo who saw the chance from the air came down behind Sukuna,

"Wind Blade"

And Norotoshi who already used Convergence, used,

"Piercing Blood"

Sukuna who was the focus of both the attacks narrowly managed to evade Noritoshi's attack by tilting his head, though it slightly sliced his cheek. He just swatted the wind blade of Momo as it wasn't that strong or sharp enough to damage, even penetrate his skin. 

He touched his cheek and saw the blood which was almost black in colour,  a wide grin slowly spread on his face.

"This is… exiting!" Sukuna haven't felt this exited since his fight with Gojo. It wasn't even a fight, it was more like a spar as Gojo never attacked and only evaded, but in the end he did get a punch from Gojo who explained it was his infinity punch, Gojo's punch made him vomit whatever he ate that morning.

"Hey" Todo who rose up, whispered to his classmates.

"Piss off"

"Do kill him," Norotoshi said, not at all bothered by Todo's words.

"I can't even if I wanted to" Todo grined, "And don't order me around, after all I'm not a boring guy who holds back against his brother" 

Todo increased his output to the maximum and took a fighting stance.

Sukuna too stopped holding back.

"Binding" Sukuna whispered and both Noritshi and Momo were binded around by his technique.

"Don't try to move or use cursed energy, my 'binding' becomes sharper the more cursed energy you use." He said to Momo and Noritoshi who laid down on the ground. Multiple parts of their hands and some parts of their uniform were cut and started bleeding when they tried to escape. What Sukuna just told was a lie, he reduced the versatility of his technique since he doesn't want them to die, if he needed to he could cut them anytime he pleased.

'He's stronger than me physically so it's useless fighting him in a close range and from his 'binding' I can assume his technique has something to do with threads but Noritoshi and Momo were finished in an instant and I don't think I can evade that attack, but from his explaination it feeds on the target's cursed energy to become sharper but it uses his cursed energy to maintain itself. So I have to avoid it at all cost while fighting him alone. There's no choice but to fight close.'Aoi thought while rushing to Sukuna.

Aoi rushed towards Sukuna to punch him while being ready to use his cursed technique at any time.

While Aoi's hand pierces through the air, Sukuna suddenly disappeared from his sight.

Knee release, that's the technique Sukuna just used, but releasing his knees, shoulders and hips, Sukuna is guided to Aoi's feet . Utilising his lower position Sukuna was about to kick Aoi's face.

*Clap*

Sukuna was disoriented by the sudden change in his position due to Aoi's technique, but he landed on his feet  and just as he returned back to face Aoi, Aoi's fist was centimetres from his face. 

Aoi's fist connected with Sukuna's face as cursed energy flashed black, pushing back Sukuna, making him fall on his back on the ground. Sukuna blankly stared, confused on what just happened.

"Thank you Brother, It's because if You I experienced black flash" Todo said while being in the zone, His output and utilization of cursed energy increased due to black flash.

"That was strong" Sukuna stood up as he wiped the blood from his nose. "But now it's my turn"

"Get Over Here!" Sukuna screamed as he did a pulling motion on one of his left hands.

Todo, felt like he was being pulled by a rope as he was pulled towards Sukuna, Before he could clap he was already in front of Sukuna who pulled back both of his right hands. 

He punched Todo with both of his hands, landing a blow on his chin and stomach, the cursed energy flashed black again on both of his punches as Todo flew back a few metes before landing on the floor.

"You are talented, to focus all of your cursed energy at the point where I punched to reduce the damage within 2 seconds" Sukuna genuinely appreciated Todo as he went hear Todo who was ow blankly staring at the sky. Todo's chin was swollen and his Stomach was visibly red as his clothes were torn.

"Otherwise I'd have died" Todo muttered absent mindedly as he was still disoriented from Sukuna's blows.

"Thanks for not holding back, brother" Todo muttered as he fainted.

"The students of the handsome Gojo-sensei have won the first event!" Gojo's voice came from the speakers.

"So Hakari-senpai exorcised the curse" Sukuna muttered while lifting Todo up and carrying him  over his shoulder. He didn't want to kill Todo but he didn't wnat to hold back too as Todo seemed to want a genuine fight.

"But how did I become his brother by saying I like Maki? I should ask Panda" Sukuna muttered while releasing his 'binding' from Noritoshi and Momo.

All the moves he used were nonlethal, as he didn't want to kill other students.

He understood that by reducing the 'sharpness' of his attacks and increasing it's 'tensile strength' he could essentially use them as threads, invisible threads which increased his technique's versatility. The slashes that don't cut nor have a short life, essentially work as threads. He developed this because his technique was too lethal in sparing to the point he could only use his technique against Gojo.

-Maki Zen'in-

"Did that Idiot win Panda?"

The event should have ended day before yesterday so why haven't they returned?

"If by idiot you mean Sukuna then yeah, Hakari said that only Sukuna fought and that it was a one-sided beatdown, the battle ended within 10 minutes and seeing how their strongest fighter was down the Kyoto team just gave up, so there was no 2nd event." 

Heh, as expected. I doubt someone other than Gojo-sensei can hande him, well maybe Yuta can if he used Rika. 

Haaah. 

They are already that strong while I am struggling to be promoted. Those Zen'in bastards, if I am that useless and a waste of space why are you even bothering with messing with my promotions. I can easily exorcise a Grade-2 cursed spirit with the help of cursed tools and I can be considered as the strongest human without cursed energy.

Sigh

I should concentrate on this mission without thinking about all those stuffs, at least Sukuna achieved something, I should support him as a friend instead of cursing my problems though I technically can't.

"Can I ask you something Maki?" Panda asked.

Now what does this guy want? I'm already not in my best of moods.

"Yeah"

I just say while looking through the car's window. We are currently in a car which is driven by Nitta, our current mission is to exorcise a grade-2 curse. The destination seemes to be a hospital which got closed not long ago due to the curse as it killed all the patients.

"Why are you avoiding Sukuna? Did you guys fight or something?" 

What when did I avoid him? It's just I didn't talk to him and didn't stay close to him…. Fuck I really have been avoiding him.

"That's none of your concern."

That guy is making me feel weird and I'm slightly scared of what it means.

"You ever since he heard about your Heavenly Restriction he has been studying a lot about it and has been goig around asking questions about it from the teachers, he really cares about you."

I know he does… that's what scares me, I am not dense enough to not know or deny the feelings that I've recently started to feel. But I am scared, what if he dosen't feel the same way? Does he even like human girls? He's a human-curse afterall. 

Why am I behaving like a little girl? Isin't this just a normal thing that everyone experiences in their life? 

The car suddenly stopped breaking me out of my thoughts.

I looked the hospital which looked like it was straight out of a horror filim, it gave off the same vibe too, no wonder it was closed.

"This is the hospital where the grade-2 sprit is, your mission is to exorcise it. I'll be waiting here outside the veil."

I really wish this mission ends soon, I just want to take a hot bath and sleep.
