When Kristopher heard what Jason said, he stopped what he was doing at stared at Jason with deadly eyes that struck fear into Jason's heart as he began to wonder if he did the right thing by asking him instead of Eric and was just about to tell him not to worry about what he said but before he could even speak, Kristopher suddenly ask as he look away.

"huh" was the only word that left his mouth when he heard Kristopher's response before clearing his throat.

"Well, I have noticed that whenever we go to the farmland for work, she's there even though she is not in our department" replied Jason.

"is that so? Well if you must know, Mira is the only person charged with the responsibility of delivering the sect leader's meal, and same with the elders. Her being in the farmland is just a little assignment given to her by the quartermaster to pick some fruits the sect leader likes" said Kristopher after hearing Jason's reason for asking about Mira.

"for her to be charged with such responsibility, I believe they trust her very well" commented Jason in a low voice.

"she's very much liked by the quartermaster and this is a little secret and it's that an elder seems interested in making her his disciple" said Kristopher.

"What, an elder wants to make her his disciple what for?" asked Jason surprised.

"Well, according to the elder Mira has a good foundation and she's still young to begin cultivating" replied Kristopher.

"seems like someone who is not happy about her being taken as a disciple. Are you still angry at her for causing you trouble?" Kristopher decided to ask as he felt the anger in his voice.

"I may still be angry with her but that doesn't me I'm against her being accepted as a disciple" reply Jason.

Kristopher didn't bother with the Mira topic anymore and switched to asking him about his hand and Jason was just about to reply only for him to notice that his hand was alright and could not help but raise it high to have a better look.

"Oh, look who has fully recovered" said Kristopher with a smile.

"that's impossible, I remember my hand was so swollen that I could hardly lift them. What is this substance sir Morrison gave to me" said Jason with a confused look on his face as he continued to look his hand.

"I did say you should keep it safe since you would need it if you happen to sustain injuries ever again" replied Kristopher with a smile.

Since Kristopher told him to keep it safe shows how important it is, keeping it within his servant robe, Jason stayed with him for some time until the others returned before they all went back to the hut.

While they were busy with their stuff inside the hut, Jason was lost in his thoughts as he just stared at the objective given by the system as he wondered how he was going to hit a tree when he could accidentally destroy his hand in the process.

"I hope this substance will last me until I complete the objective and as for Mira, I will deal with her once I'm done with this mission" Jason said to himself before excusing himself from the crowd.

Making sure no one is around, Jason heads for the tree with his fist clenched together as he hesitates whether he should hit the tree after expressing the pain from doing so the previous day. In the end, he decided to punch the tree.

The pain surged through his body but he still endured the pain and punched the second time with gritted teeth while enduring the pain. He punched about five times until he could no longer feel his arm anymore before finally giving up and went back to sleep after applying the black substance to his hands as he felt a hot sensation mix with chill cold in his arms.

"guess it would take a long time before I could complete this mission" mutters Jason with a sigh.

Jason continued in this process every day as he continued to punch the tree until he reached his limit before going to sleep in the blink of an eye a whole month had passed and wetin this period, he had almost completed the mission.

"Third stage qi condensation —condition: Punch a tree (90/100)".

"Two more days and I would be done with this mission" said Jason after checking his progress.

During the period he had been hitting the tree, he had gotten used to the pain to the extent that he could barely bear it. He went back to the hut after he was done with his exercise.

"I don't have much time here, I need to start preparing for the special mission before I face the penalty for failing" said Jason.

The next morning, after he was done with his morning duty, he didn't leave with them instead he turned to another path as he heard to the herbs department. He was able to befriend a young boy his age this past month who happened to be in the herb department as they were in charge of picking herbs.

"hello Kelvin, what are you doing?" Jason asked Kelvin who was busy staring at some plants.

"Nothing much, I'm just inspecting this unique plant. It seems like you are done with your morning duties for you to have the time to visit me" replied Kelvin without taking his eyes off the plant.

"You are right about that. Anyways, I need your help with something Kelvin, and knowing how good you are with herbs, I believe it won't be difficult for you to help me" said Jason with a smile as he squatted close to him.

"that would depend on what you need my help with" replied Kelvin.

"of course you would. So tell me, what herb could hit someone with diarrhea?" asked Jason with a serious look on his face.
