Salted Water

It has been a few moments already she's been sitting on that rock... Seconds, minutes or hours? She wouldn't know. What she knows though, is that this very place was the place where she felt relieved, the only place in which she had anything to do but cry...

Weep over her never-ending self-deceit. Wether it be family, friends, college... Why did all things have to be so dreary?

The tears have now mixed on her flushed face with the mist of salty ocean water. What cold she do anyway? In an hour or two, she'll go back home, fight with her siblings, get annoying comments, try to ignore them and go study. To then end up in bed and feel empty in her cocoon.

Instead, Anna laid there on her back and looked up the sky. That day was gloomy, it didn't rain during the day although cloudy, but the sky was clear this night. It was 8 at night. Her parents didn't really care about her whereabouts, she was a smart girl and an obedient daughter. As long as she gets good grades and doesn't cause trouble, Anna could do whatever she wanted. She was allowed to come home by 11 at night if she wanted. The stars were beautifully glowing that moment. Everything did seem sparkly around her, but there was this fog of darkness that plunged her in complete listless.

Anna closed her eyes and tried to think of nothing. Nothing... Nothing... Nothing...

"Just like what I am, nothing" the girl said.

"What do you mean just like you, nothing?" a soft voice said. Anna immediately sat up to look at the owner of the voice. Then she saw him. Young, not more than 24, lean, not so tall but insanely beautiful. He looked angelic and gorgeous.

"H- Hi?..." the girl stuttered.

"Hello, um.. what's your name?"

"I'm Anna, and you?"

"Hello Anna, I'm Jimin"

The boy shook hands with Anna and smiled cutely.

"So...Anna. What did you by what you said before?" Jimin looked straight into her eyes, causing her to get nervous a little.

"Well,.. um... nothing I didn't mean anything, I'm fine"

"I won't buy that" he cut her off.

Silence they looked at each other. One wandering how she got herself in that situation, the other waiting for his answer...

"I saw you crying from where I was standing and I can't help but think.." his voice drifted

"Think what?" she asked

"That this isn't the first time it happens"

The girl can't deny that. So she looks away, ignoring the remark he made.

"You can't deny what I said..." Jimin placed his fore finger and thumb to her chin and turned Anna's face to face him.

"Look, Anna. I'm no angel but I am here for you. If you need company or any help or just even a talk.. You can just call me, here." He pulled out his phone from his pocket and typed his phone number which the girl re-typed on hers.

"I know you might think I'm weirdo but.. I refuse to see tears unless of happiness on that face, okay?" Jimin patted Anna's back and smiled genuinely. The girl felt so warm and ... happy?

"Thanks Jimin. I promise that I'll come back to you when needed."

"When you said you were fine, the truth was that it was lie"

"The thing is, I just can't tell what I even feel."

"I want you to be your light. See you later, Anna." Jimin left her on that.

She stood on the sand, breathed deeply and re-processed what had just happened. On her walk back home, Anna knew that deep inside even if she doesn't feel much, she couldn't wait for the next time she would get to see him.

"See you later, Jimin."

On this chapter, I just wanted to refer the meeting of Jimin and Anna (y/n is shaking) to the fact that EVERY ARMY somehow always happens to get to know about BTS when they needed it the most.
