Not needing sleep can come in extremely handy when you want to increase your cultivation as fast as possible. My multitasking skills are good enough to support my second and first aperture at the same time, so I do exactly that.

I nourish them both at the same time when cultivating and they are both at 100% talent, so I have potential problems. I initially wanted the carefree wisdom heart physique, but I noticed a small attraction to the space path Gu worm we used during our escape and I think my physique is the a space path physique, which isn't really a bad thing, but it also isn't what I wanted.

My main aperture can be a luck path one and my secondary aperture can be space path one, but I still prefer wisdom path. At least I have an extreme Physique, which will give me a lot of human Qi and talent. I mostly have a solution to the explosion problem, but using it is expensive.

My solution is to make my apertures extremely durable or use a dream path method to make it intangible. Making it durable is simple enough, but might mess with my ability to make use of primeval essence in the future. It will make my aperture clunky and hard to connect to. Breakthroughs will also be a bitch, but it is cheap and works.

The dream path method can be used with almost no side effects and will even give me a few dream path Dao marks, but I will need a few of rank 5 beggar moths or a bit of green grape immortal essence to even activate it and that is not considering how I need 15 rank 4 Gu and over 400 rank 3 Gu worms to even have the killer move ready.

This method is also one I thought up by using my refinement path master attainment level and Dao knowledge. Thanks to Baby Dao Alchemist, I can directly understand Dao marks and connect them more easily. Creating killer moves is extremely simple thanks to this and so is understanding refinement recipes.

Think of it like this: to make a killer move, you need to use Gu worms, in other words, you need puzzle pieces to complete the puzzle. Other people can only blindly pick out pieces and force them together to make a final product, but their puzzle pieces have random colours, so the end product might be square shaped, but its looks(effects) will be lower.

I can directly see the colours of the puzzle pieces and pick out the pieces I need to complete the killer move using Baby Dao Alchemist. Inventing the killer move is solely on my shoulders, though. This is why I can easily think up killer moves.

Actually, now that I think about it, aren't killer moves just like Gu refinement recipes? They use the exact same principles: use a lot of lower rank Gu worms effects to create a higher rank Gu worms effects. Isn't that just refining abilities instead of Gu?

What the heck was that?! I was just letting my thoughts wonder when a huge amount of wild refinement thoughts flooded my brain and suppressed my own thoughts to the point of me losing consciousness. I had to spend a huge amount of time on just unraveling those thoughts and fusing them into my own brain. I don't know how such an event is even possible, but it happened and my gains aren't small.

I advanced to refinement path master not too long ago and I have already reached quasi-grandmaster attachment level in refinement path. I need to deduce how this happened in the future and try to recreate it in a more controlled environment.

"He's finally up."

Who the fuck is that? My brother has a deep voice, my mum has a very soft voice , Wang Da and my dad are zombies, so their vocal cords are torn and their voices are extremely hoarse, but this voice sounds like a girl trying to imitate a man's voice and doing somewhat well.

Also, how did they know I was awake? I haven't shown any being-awake signs. I'll act soft for now and observe the situation. "my head hurts. What happened?"

I open my eyes and stare at the weird man sitting on the chair and doing that weird thing where you lean your chair back to look cool. I blink a couple of times at him in confusion and say "brother Da, who's that?"

Without waiting for anyone, that delicate flower like guy sitting infront of me, wearing a weird cone hat to cover his facial expression, said "My name is Zhang Bei Yun and I came here to investigate the huge explosion that happened here. The whole mountain is covered in ice and the scale of this destruction is unprecedented. I wondered if I'd find any living beings here, much less a jade of a human."

The obvious crossdresser look at me and said "What do you say, kid? Want to joing Zhang clan? You have unprecedented talent, becoming a refinement path grandmaster at such an young age is simply unprecedented. Especially the natural enlightenment, that is a rare phenomenon only some of the most talent people might experience."

I rubbed my head a bit to sooth the raging headache. Absorbing so many wild refinement thoughts and the true meaning inside of them is extremely taxing on a person's mind, but I am clear-headed enough to see through this bitch's deceit. Luck inspection has told me she is at least rank 3. The lack of scars and the look in her eyes tells me she is a veteran at this. Definitely a rank 4 at the weakest and probably has 2 rank 4 Gu worms, maybe 3 depending on if she has a healing Gu on hand or not. I need to probe her.

"Before I answer you, sir, can you help me sooth my headache? All those weird bobble things kept suppressing me and hurt my head a lot."

She nodded her head and took out a small dung beetle Gu worm, which was rank 3, and used it on me. It had absolutely no effect. I nodded my head and said "Thank you."

She nodded her head and said "Now you can think over my offer and decide on your own, but I hope you make the right choice. Traveling around this place with a bunch if mortals as a rank 2 Gu master isn't all that safe."

The information I have on her is this so far: she is hiding her gender and appearance, so she most definitely has enemies searching for her, high chance of being demonic. She doesn't have much experience in Gu combat, seeing as she took a Gu worm out of her aperture to use it and her senses are extremely dull, seeing as she failed to identify Xu Liu(Jack) and his threat level. High chance of being rank 3 with A grade talent in the upper stages. Low combat experience and has a rank 4 healing Gu worm for intimidating factor and survival. A young master of sorts, but that small and pathetic level threat proves she is a rookie.

Also, TBF Chun Jack was a very obvious fake name. Who would name their son Chun Jack? The word Jack doesn't even exist in the lexicon here. I've been making up names for people on the go. I am a prime example of how having precise information can screw a main character over. I am not about to risk telling you guys about my family and expose any possible information.

You can know my name as much as you want, beating me is impossible for any chump from earth, but I won't run the huge risk of benefit hungry people knowing my personal information. I have been hiding almost all of the details concerning my major exploits and whatnot to make sure any outside interference is impossible. I am not about to reveal any details, but just so you guys know, I am doing this broadcast for benefits, not to get myself killed.

Anyway, back on topic. We can easily get rid of her when I gather enough evidence and get benefits from her. For now, I need outside information and an easily manipulated rank 3 rookie is as good of an informant as I'll get.

I stood up and went over to my parents. I leaned into their ears and whispered "I don't trust this man, be on guard and watch out for any surprise attacks! We need to protect grampa and my brother."

I went over to Wang Da and whispered "Don't show any emotions. My parents are bait. Strike him while he is distracted."

He shook his head and said "I think we can trust him. A representative of Zhang clan wouldn't lie to us or try to get us killed."

I have set up about 3 layers of traps here to keep probing her. She has been given too much information and thinks Wang Da is the strongest one here. If she has a strong investigation method, then she will know of our plot and try to catch "grampa" or my brother to use as a hostage when she gets targeted. Gon Tu isn't a fighter, but he won't be anywhere near her when she is forced into a situation. Xu Liu will be our hidden sword. As soon as she shows signs of malice or anything unusual, we will pounce on her and Xu Liu will finish her off. For now, we need to show the pride of Gu masters and I need to hope my mother doesn't show the rank 4 Gu we possess. She has almost no information on us, so she will need to continue probing us all throughout the journey. Everyone knows what to do and our hidden dagger hasn't been noticed. Our next step? Keep it cool and follow along. Don't alarm her and make sure she thinks we are easy targets.

I nodded my head to Wang Da and cupped my fists "I woul like to accept mister Zhang's offer and join Zhang clan. I used to be the best at refining Gu in my old village. If Zhang clan is willing to host a minor characters, such as myself, then I will not disappoint."

She nodded her head and said "This is a rank 2 refinement path Gu worm called split refinement. All I ask in return is for you to refine some Gu form me personally in the future!" She winked at me. She is either a complete idiot, or the best god damn actor this world has ever seen and I am going to find out her true intentions before the next day begins and deal with her appropriately!
