Chapter 68 - Strengthening subordinates

Sheyan looked at this notification and felt his heartbeat increase.

'+5 Legend points!!! Fuck, I don't think anyone ever got that much. I have to get them, I might not get this opportunity again. Although it's gonna be very difficult, after all I only achieved 12 titles till now and if I want to complete this challenge that means I will have to get at least 10 titles from each World.'

'Just gotta work harder from now on.' Sheyan thought with a smile and selected the second choice.

Sheyan looked at the new notification and smiled. After this he looked at the previous notification he got after killing Little Lord Fokke.

Sheyan selected yes right away.

'With this reaching Worshipped status won't be too hard.' Sheyan thought before looking at his subordinates.

His older subordinates already taught his new subordinates how to use the guns.

"What are you all waiting for? Get in your positions, Mongor take 20 old members and 100 of these new members with you and find those people who exploded the castle of the Fokke family, by the way don't kill them, just bring them to me." Sheyan ordered in a loud voice.

"Aye aye captain!" Mongor enthusiastically replied and quickly selected 20 people from Sheyan's old subordinates and randomly selected 100 new subordinates to go with him.

Just when they left, a group of people in the armour of the Fokke family's guards appeared in front of Sheyan's group.

Guards who were in the lead saw the big group of people standing in front of them but didn't give them any heed but when they looked at the corpses lying in front of the group, their eyes widened in shock and their feet got stuck to the ground.

Guards in the rear stopped too when they saw that the guards in front stopped.

"What happened? Why did you stop?" A guard asked from behind.

But he didn't receive any reply. Rear guards frowned and rushed ahead after parting the guards standing in front of them.

But when they reached the front and saw the scene in front of them, they also stood rooted on the spot in disbelief.

After all, what they saw is truly horrifying for them, the dead body of their Lord Caterly Fokke and the divine horse Momore.

Sheyan looked at the hundred or saw guards in front of him and used his insight ability on one of them randomly.

Sheyan looked behind and saw his subordinates holding mini Uzis and a satisfied smile appeared on his face.

"Once again, what the heck are you all waiting for? Fire idiots!" Sheyan ordered loudly.

Pirates came back to their senses and quickly aimed their guns at the guards who were still standing in shock.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

*ARGHHH!!* *AHHHHH!!!*

Gunshots rang loudly, along with the screams of the guards. One by one guards fell down, guards who were standing behind heard the gun shots and the screams and understood that they were under attack.

They quickly ran to the front to deal with the attackers but this frontal assault only ended in increasing the number of casualties on their part.

Under the rain of Bullets from 100 Uzis, it only took 50 seconds to kill all the guards who were standing in front of Sheyan.

Sheyan looked at the scene and an evil smile appeared on his face.

"I finally understand the feeling of those dictators, with an army equipped with hot weapons I don't need to feel cautious about my actions. Looks like dealing with the pirates who will be attacking the port is gonna be much easier than I thought." Sheyan muttered in satisfaction.

"It's time for looting, my favourite part." Sheyan muttered and moved to the corpses of the guards.

As he touched them, scarlett keys and unique items kept appearing in his hands which he stored in his storage.

Newly joined members looked at this scene with bafflement, some of them asked Sheyan's old crew about the situation out of curiosity.

Sheyan's old subordinates explained the situation to them.

"What! Our captain is actually a magician?"

"So he can bless the things he took from those corpses with mysterious power!"

"Maybe we really chose the right bet this time."

New subordinates exclaimed one by one after learning about Sheyan's ability.

After five minutes Sheyan touched all the corpses and took out the loot.

Sheyan stood up and took out the keys belonging to the guards.

"Let's strengthen my subordinates with these." Sheyan muttered and opened 30 scarlet chests.

Many items burst out the chests, Sheyan stored all of them except the scrolls containing special abilities.

Pirates didn't see the chests which Sheyan opened but they saw many items appearing in front of Sheyan which he once again stored somewhere they didn't know, leaving only some old scrolls.

Sheyan picked up a scroll and checked its description.

[ Special ability 'Teamwork' scroll ]

[ Use: Learn special ability 'Teamwork' lvl 1 after using the scroll. ]

[ Requirements: 10000 utility points. ]

He picked up another scroll and checked its description.

[ Special ability 'Tenacity' scroll ]

[ Use: Learn special ability 'Tenacity' lvl 1 after using the scroll. ]

[ Requirements: 5000 utility points. ]

'Nightmare realm can my subordinates use these scrolls to learn these abilities?' Sheyan enquired with the nightmare Imprint.

[ Yes, storyline characters who are subordinates of the contestant 1018 can use the ability scrolls to learn the corresponding abilities. ]

[ The utility point fees of using the scroll will be paid by the contestant. ]

Sheyan smiled and sorted out the Scrolls in front of him.

"Mack, gather our old crew members, I have new things to give to all of you." Sheyan turned and spoke to a middle-aged pirate.

The Middle-aged pirate named Mack bowed and hollered loudly to beckon all the old members of Sheyan's pirate group.

Very quickly, Sheyan's old subordinates gathered in front of Sheyan.

"We will be going to attack the castle of the Fokke family in a short while but inside that castle there are many traps and hidden places filled with deadly snares and with your current strength, even with the guns I gave to all of you, you will still suffer many casualties." Sheyan spoke calmly.

"It doesn't matter captain, you just need to order we will fight till death!" Pirates answered back in unison, with firm eyes.

The new members looked on quietly, not saying any word.

"That's good but don't worry little ones, how could I as your captain, let you all suffer. So I am going to give all of you something even better than these magical guns." Sheyan smiled and spoke loudly.

"Something even better than the captain's magical guns?" Pirates muttered with surprise. Pirates have seen the power of the guns Sheyan gave them, they really can't imagine what could be better than such a magical weapon.

"Well, these magical guns are after all just a tool, not your real strength. Without these guns, tens of you all can be dealt with by anyone from the three legendary ships. So, now I will be giving you all something which can increase your real power." Sheyan spoke slowly and lifted up the scrolls in front of the pirates.

"Real power! Could it be... These scrolls?" Pirates asked, their voice filled with reverence.

"Yes these scrolls, each of you will get two scrolls. Tear them in half and see for yourself." Sheyan nodded and threw two scrolls containing two different abilities to each of the pirates.

Sheyan only brought 50 members with him, mongor already took 20 members with him to hunt the contestants, now only 29 members remain in front of Sheyan.

All of them got the Scrolls and directly tore them apart.

Sheyan's nightmare imprint rang continuously.

[ Your subordinate has used an ability scroll. ]

[ Deducting 10000 utility points. ]

[ Your subordinate has used an ability scroll. ]

[ Deducting 5000 utility points. ]

Sheyan could still afford this much expenditure.

After everyone tore apart the Scrolls, they looked at each other, not feeling anything different.

But they didn't doubt Sheyan's words, after all, Sheyan has already shown them many magical things.

"Captain, I don't feel anything different, does it take time for this scroll to work?" A pirate asked in confusion.

Sheyan smiled and spoke calmly.

"Try moving around a little."

Pirates nodded and took a step forward, suddenly they felt their whole body full of explosive strength, they instantly moved 2 metres away from their previous location.

"What's this power? I am not wearing the magical shoes given by the captain but I am still so fast?" A Pirate muttered in shock.

Another pirate punched a house on the side.

The whole house shook from the impact and the wooden wall broke completely.

"Is this really my own power?" The pirate looked at his fist in shock and delight.

The newly joined subordinates looked at this scene with wide eyes and opened mouths. These completely normal people suddenly became super fast and monsterously strong in front of them in just a Blink.

They couldn't wrap their heads around this situation.

"Good good, now all of you are finally qualified to be on my ship, now let's go and loot the castle of the Fokke family with me." Sheyan laughed and spoke loudly.

"AYE AYE CAPTAIN!!!" Pirates exclaimed loudly in delight, their voice rang all over the Turtuga port.

I didn't remember the original parameters so I made them up on my own previously. But they weren't perfect so I edited them. Current reputation status table is like this.
