Chapter 23: Prison part 2

"so, this is the base we will be staying in? "

Saying this while walking, David had already started walking to the entrance of the prison.

"How do we get in. "

An important question with a very simple solution.

"You can destroy the entrance. "

The soldier that originally proposed the idea to go to the prison came up with a good way to solve the problem.

David hearing what he said, unsheathes the blade, got ready and then slashed the gate.

As though made of bamboo, the gate was sliced clean through and a loud metal sound was made.

"Be careful. "

David takes the lead and is followed by the soldiers, they all hold their guns and move cautiously.

"Arrrrrrhhh! "

The zombies that were in this prison heard the sound of the metal and all run towards them.

Charging at the approaching zombies, David unsheathes his blade and slashes at the first zombie.

Dumm! Dumm!

The blade was so sharp that it cut the first zombie and then the neck of the second one that came.

Two heads fall, then the body drops on the floor and blood gushes out.

Then bringing the blade back to him, David proceeds to charge at the other zombies, a strike for each.

"Should we help him? "

No one knows who asked the question but none of them could reply.

Continuing with the slaughter, David notices that the zombies were now small in numbers.

"Time to rap this up. "

After saying this, David increases the speed and starts killing even faster than before.

Six minutes later the zombies had been killed and holes were dug up outside the prison and the bodies were getting buried.

"Please can you help! "

The soldiers try to bury as fast as they can, but there were too many bodies.

"Okay. "

With davids help, the process took very little time to complete.

Looking at a less bloody and nightmarish prison, the group try to figure out what to do about the blood.

"I say we use water and try to wash everything out. "

"Are you dumb, you want to use the most important resource in an apocalypse and do cleaning. "

"So what do you propose we do. "

"I suggest we forget about the blood and just try to check on the prison. "

"But the blood will attract zombies here. "

"But we have David. "

"So you want to continue to rely on David all the time. "

"No, but we can't get rid of the stains and the amount of water needed is not something we have. "

"Shut up. "

"No, you shut up. "

"You want to go. "

"Yes, I do. "

What originally started out as a disagreement between the two of them was quickly turning into an actual fight.

"Shut up! "

Angered by their argument, the eldest one shouts at them and then proceeds to knock them on their heads.

"We are trying to figure out a solution and we do don't need two little children squabbling. "

"Yes. "

There was no anger or resentment, they had done something wrong and we're punished.

"Now i don't want to take sides but second was right, we can't waste water on removing the blood. "

"Told you. "

Less than a second had passed before he was knocked again.

"It is getting late and we need to go and rest, a barricade will be made here and we will all do turns watching the place. "

This idea was fair and was quickly agreed and then carrying items from different houses, a makeshift gate was made.

"Everyone get a good rest, tomorrow we search for resources and finally second your first. "

Not bothering about his cries, the group all find a cell and sleep.

Reassuring himself, second proceeds to shiver while holding his gun.

David after lying down to rest finds out that he just couldn't sleep and so he was petting the dogs hair.

Stroking his head for the last time, David head to where second was and proceeded to sit on the ground.

And like that, time passed.
