Chapter 19: Just A Joke
"David, this is our head scientist's. "
In front of david was a man with one missing arm wearing a white lab coat and instructing a scientist.
"Oh! Mr armstrong what brings you here? "
Isaac was quite surprised, this is a righteous man that does as if experimenting on captive is wrong.
"I'm here to formally introduce you to the new major. "
Isaac and Mr armstrong have a past history of disagreeing and fighting with one another but every time Isaac lost.
"So it was actually true, you are no longer the major. "
A big smile finds it way to Isaacs face, with this old geezer out of the way it will be easier to do some things.
"Wipe that ugly smile from your face, even with me no longer being major, you are out of your mind if you think you can do those evil experiments. "
Right now Mr armstrongs face was plastered with disgust and rage.
"You are no longer a major, so you no longer have any power or authority to stop me, so you best be on your way out. "
The smile on Isaacs face is gone and replace it is a death stare, one hand and with that face makes him look like a criminal.
"If you want me to leave, why don't you come and throw me out. "
"I would be glad to do that but I have only one hand because of you. "
"Those people were in danger, little children and parents all would die if I didn't help them."
"Of course, it's easy for you to say that when I am the one that lost a hand and I didn't even agree to helping them. "
David watching them argue, gets bored and decides to explore the place.
"Careful with the blood, we need to preserve it as quickly as we can. "
"Only five percent. "
"Only cut the small red part. "
David sees weird things from brains to blood, arms, eyes and a lot of other weird things.
"Why are you not in your uniform. "
"I am not a scientist. "
The scientist hearing this burst into laughter and calls the other scientist.
"Can you imagine this guy, he is saying that he is not a scientist. "
"Hahaha. "
The surrounding scientist start laughing, this was one of the funniest jokes they had heard.
"But I am not a scientist. "
David tries to explain but none of the scientist believe him, they think he is trying to escape his work.
"Where is David? "
While david was explaining himself to the scientist, the argument between Isaac and armstrong had concluded.
"Who is david? "
"The new major. "
"Your replacement. "
"Yes. "
"If only he could replace your face. "
"Sorry but until science can make a cure for your face, I don't think you are in any position to judge even a babbon. "
"Enough, where is this david you are talking about? "
"David, David, David. "
Armstrong getting annoyed, starts shouting davids name loudly.
"Coming. "
Hearing his name, david on the other side tries to leave but is stopped by the scientists.
"Please, I'm not a scientist. "
"You are not the first person to say that. "
This annoying scientist is starting to make him angry, like really really angry.
"Shut up. "
No longer being able to endure it, david loses it and just screams at him.
His eyes were turning a little red and his face was plastered with anger.
"Bro calm down, it's just a little joke. "
The surrounding scientist are scared from davids red eyes and angry face.
"A joke! A joke. "
Quickly calming down, davids eyes start going back to normal.
"David, where are you? "
"I'm here. "
Opening a path, the scientist see a frustrated Mr armstrong walk towards david.
"So, you all are familiarizing yourself with your new major. "
Seeing the group surrounding david, all of his annoyance disappear.
"New major. "
The group look at Mr armstrong then at David, they did not know that they new major was actually this young.
