CHAPTER 5

It is springtime and the first day of the U.A.'s academic year. Sora prepares to leave and is wished good luck by his aunty Nona.

Arriving at the school, Sora walk to his class which was class 1-A. as he was walking, he meets up with Midoriya on the way.

"Yo! Midoriya"

"Ahh Sora you're here too"

Of course, why won't I be here

"Sorry I'm just distracted a bit," said in a low tone he continues" I was just hoping that Katsuki and the person wearing glasses aren't in our class"

Sora laughs as he knows that won't happen. Reaching the class, they open the door to see that most of the people are already there. The student wearing glasses introduces himself as Iida tenya.

After that, Uraraka came to say that she was glad that Izuku made it into U.A. Soon, a man enters the class and introduces himself as Shota Aizawa, saying that he will be their homeroom teacher for Class 1-A. He then tells his students to put on their P.E. clothes and head off to the P.E. ground.

Shota explains that they will be having a Quirk Apprehension Test

"What about the orientation?" Uraraka asked

"If you are going to become a hero you have no time for leisure events," Aizawa said

"The Quirk Apprehension Test will test the strength and limits of your Quirks since you were not able to use your Quirks in middle school," he explains

"Sora, what was your highest distance when throwing a ball?" Aizawa asks

"because I am naturally stronger than an average person, I can throw to a distance of 187m," Sora said it like it was noting

Aizawa wasn't really surprised as he has already read his file. But the others were shocked apart from Bakugo and Izuku as they were from the same middle school

"ok now try it with your quirk," Aizawa said as he passed the ball to him "you can do anything as long as you don't step out of the circle"

Holding the ball, he walks toward the circle taking a pitcher's stance.

"Deku you were classmate with him do you know what his quirk," Uraraka asked

Everyone immediately shifted their attention to Midoriya making him nervous

"Ahh, it a bit complicated as he can use a sort of energy that can be used for attack and defense" after saying that, he went full nerd mode explaining all the details he can think of.

Sora hears them talking about him but it didn't matter as they will come to know of it eventually.

Focusing on the present task at hand. He coats his arm with haki making it turn into a metallic black color. he threw the ball flying into the distance, the force of the ball seeming to break the sound barrier as it went.

Aizawa shows them the device measuring the distance of the ball. It reaches a distance of 1.2km

"Wow that was amazing"

After Sora uses his Quirk for a trial pitch, the students find it to be fun. However, Shota doesn't seem pleased by their reactions and then makes a new rule: the student who ranks last in total points will be deemed hopeless and immediately expelled.

Sora expected this to happen so they weren't much of a reaction out of him. But what surprised him was the Midoriya didn't have as much of a reaction as he expected.

'Did he learn how to use his quirk?' Sora was really confused now. He turns to the side to look at All might who was spying on them. He had already noticed him since he came.

All might doesn't look worried too seeing that he guessed that Midoriya can his quirk well now

His guess was right as he used his full crowing during the tests. , Bakugo is shocked and horrified at what happened, finding it impossible for Izuku to have a Quirk. Thinking that Izuku lied to him for all these years about not having a Quirk, an enraged Katsuki charges at Izuku demanding that he explain himself

"DEKU EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!"

"Kacchan!" Midoriya panicked as a result

"That's enough Bakugo" Sora steps in front of Bakugo stopping him from charging.

"This is none of your business," Bakugo says

Sora and Bakugo have always been butting heads with which each other at middle school.

"Oh, I guess it's about to be" Sora unleashes a bit of his conqueror haki making the people around a bit uncomfortable. But Bakugo stood his ground as he also has a very strong will this amount of haki hardly affects him.

Just as Bakugo was about to attack, but Aizawa stops Katsuki using his Capturing Weapon.

After completing all the tests, Shota presents the results and unsurprisingly Sora came first while Midoriya came 5th.

'I was wondering what was missing it turns out I replaced that grape haired boy' thought Sora as he didn't see Minita in the class

Aizawa later said, he reveals the expulsion rule was a lie and that it was a logical ruse to pull out their best performances, which shocks Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya.

"It was obvious from the being," Momo said

"not really, from what I have heard he expelled all the first-year students last year," Sora said pouring cold water on their thoughts.

"Really?" someone asked as they looked at Aizawa who was looking at them with a 'smile'. From that everyone knew it wasn't a joke.

The first day of school ends and Izuku and Sora becomes friends with Ochaco and Tenya.

"But Izuku when did you get a quirk as I don't remember you having one when we trained?" Sora asked Midoriya as the other two left

"Ahh that" he could see that Midoriya didn't know how to answer

"It's ok you don't have to force your self you can tell me when you're ready," Sora said as he continues to move to leave Midoriya behind

He already knew about it but it would have been suspicious if he didn't ask.
