Finally, Naruto and co made it back to Konoha.

Yamato and Sai was also with this pair of strong ninja.

The journey this time had given them much to think about.

For Sai, it was due to being able to feel his emotions once again which was due to Naruto and Sakura knocking some sense into him.

Now, he was considering his own feelings more, and even had the idea to ask Danzo to stay on the team.

If he stayed on this team, he had a vague feeling that he would reach something great in the future.

Meanwhile, for Yamato, the most thing he was perplexed about was these two ninjas under him.

Sakura and Naruto.

They were both young, one being a Chunin and one being a Genin.

'How could they be a Chunin and a genin?'

There was no way those two who did so many feats were that low-ranked.

He needed to bring this issue with the Hokage.

After all, Sakura had beaten an S-tier missing Nin from Sunagakure who was known for killing the third Kazekage, arguably the strongest Kazekage, how could she not be a jonin already, and even more so one considered a jonin with Kage level strength? Those were important to the village after all.

And Naruto… Yamato considered him even stronger than Sakura.

After all, he clashed against Orochimaru on his own.

He saw that with his own eyes, and from a veteran perspective he could swear Naruto was dominating that fight.

'I even heard he killed a member of the Akatsuki same as Sakura'

Yamato was convinced he was going to recommend their status be updated as quickly as possible.

As such, he stopped a bit and all three who were with him looked at him when they were finally inside Konoha.

"I'm going to report to lord Hokage, you three can do what you want until we have a new mission"

His words made them nod their heads with Sai speaking after.

"I will report to lord Danzo"

His meaning was obvious.

Otherwise, if he was on Danzo's side, he wouldn't have told them this.

He wanted to ask permission to stay under Yamato's lead.

Meanwhile, Sakura and Naruto looked at Sai with understanding, even sharing a look with a certain meaning.

When they all split up, Naruto and Sakura headed to a ramen shop, specifically Ichiraku Ramen, and started to speak.

"I think it's about time to start the plan of Hayato-sensei"

Sakura murmured softly, after she saw with her observation no one was nearby except the stall owners.

Naruto slurping ramen, nodded his head.

"For the final goal to go smoothly, we must do our part as Hayato-sensei's disciples from Konoha."

Naruto knew for the plan to work, Hayato was going to train various people from everywhere in the world.

But this goal was still too far.

All they could do was work on their own homeland.

With his understanding of Granny Tsunade, she will be on their side, at least to fully unite the Konoha clans.

Sakura nodded her head.

"I will arrange a meeting with Master Tsunade, and then we can speak freely just the three of us, about how to get rid of the tumor of Konoha,"

Naruto raised his eyes from his ramen and locked eyes with her, they both shared an understanding of Danzo as their teacher had explained some things to them.

"Even Sai would be free this way,"

Naruto added and Sakura nodded her head.

"Him, and many others…" She added to his words before she dug into her own bowl of ramen.

Meanwhile, in an open area, three people were next to a fallen body.

One of them was sitting on a stone and checking a certain book of his, his expression one of indifference.

The second one, held a scythe on his hands, with various injuries on his body still bleeding.

He had a manic expression on his face one of pure malicious sadistic joy.

He was the closest to the body fallen on the ground.

Finally, the last one was weird.

He was seen coming from the ground with only a bit of his upper head shown, along with some type of flower around his head.

As for the body, it belonged to a blonde female ninja.

The weird thing though, was that time was seemingly stopped at this moment, as nothing moved. Not even the wounds of the guy with the scythe bled.

Everything was frozen.

And it was at this moment, that the female ninja's body glowed a golden hue, and seemingly all her wounds were healed instantly.

She then opened her eyes slowly and the world resumed.

"Huh?"

Hidan was shocked at what he was seeing right now.

This two-tailed female Jinchuriki was on the brink of death, and the only reason she was still alive was that they needed her still breathing to extract her bijuu.

But what happened? She was now suddenly fully healed.

Even Kakuzu raised his head and looked at this in surprise.

But then he attributed it to Jinchuriki accelerated healing.

"Stop playing you idiot, take care of this quickly,"

Hidan heard his words and yelled back.

"Shut the fuck up you bastard or I'll kill you, if you want her dead do it yourself," Hidan said this, but still raised his scythe and prepared to once again trap Yugito.

Yugito did a back flip and cracked her neck.

'Hmm, not that I doubted sensei after we spent two years, but man seeing his words turn to reality is certainly reassuring'

Yugito was relaxed at his moment since everything she was told had come to fruition.

She knew after spending a while in the space and getting stronger as a result that he didn't lie to her at all, but now, she was further reassured.

'Stupid Yugito, during two years, what did I keep telling you?'

Matatabi snorted at Yugito.

Yugito blushed and spoke in her mind.

'I told you to not mention that again'

'But, isn't that just normal for humans why does it bother you so much? It's just mating, no? you like him, and was only hesitating these whole two years because you wanted to confirm at the end if it was all true or just an illusion… what's the matter now?'

Although what she said was true, Yugito was annoyed at Matatabi.

'You! I'm not talking to you anymore,'

Hidan at this moment, attempted to injure Yugito with his scythe, but she just swung her elongated nails that suddenly grew at him, and huge fire claws were sent.

He had no time to react before he was suddenly cut into pieces.

His neck, arms, waist, and legs all feel separately with a yell of pain.

*Arghhhh*

"What the fuck?!!!"

He cursed as he was in great pain.

Meanwhile, Yugito suddenly was engulfed in a red two-tail cloak, but this one wasn't the out-of-control one but rather what she was able to use after she mastered it.

She then disappeared in a huge burst of speed and appeared near Kakuzu who had just stood up and kicked him toward Hidan before she started to do some seals.

[Fire style: Incinerating Wave]

Coincidently, the third plant-like guy was also near them, so when she finished her seals, she had released a huge sea of blue flames at their position, and it swept them all.

She landed on the ground and observed them getting burned.

This time, she wasn't as helpless as she was before.
