Another Job

"Talk to me."

After leaving the infirmary, Jun got a call from his contact in the supernatural hunting business.

"Someone sounds grumpy. Did you get dumped?"

Rolling his eyes, Jun didn't want to explain how he was serviced by his 2 childhood friends, a trap that he met a week ago, and maybe a loli looking cat girl or a Russian blazer.

"Do you have a job for me or not?"

Hearing his tone, the person on the other side of the call laughed.

"How do you feel about vampires?"

Remembering the ones that usually came after Aisa, he couldn't help but shrug his shoulders.

"Small fries."

"Oho! That's good to hear." The person said in a giddy tone.

"Do I even want to ask why you're so excited?"

Although he couldn't see his contact, Jun could imagine that they were currently smirking.

"A family of vampiric brothers have be spotted residing in a old mansion in Tokyo."

"What's so special about that? Vampires used to live in castles all the time, a mansion shouldn't be much of a surprise."

"Fufufufu, maybe not but, our client wants them eliminated."

"Why?"

"They didn't say. But from what I could gather, the brothers seem to be the sons of an influential figure in vampire society."

"Urgh, so this is about politics."

"Its good pay."

*Sigh*

"Text me the address."

---

"What the heck?"

Stepping out of the portal, Jun was confronted with the sight of the mansion that the vampire brothers were supposed to be residing in. The only issue was that it was in pieces. Rubble lay scattered on the ground and wisps of smoke rose from the ruins in the distance.

"Well... this is new."

---

*TING!!* *TING!!* *TING!!*

The sound of steel clashing against steel reverberated throughout the area. The reason for the noises was the two figures who were slashing at each other.

One of the figure created wind blades every time she swung her sword, the other one used a flash step to dodge every strike and countered by shrouding her sword in white light and sending out slashes of bright light back.

*BANG!!*

Dodging the light blade, the woman who sent out wind blades watched as the light blade tore through a large chunk of the mansion.

*Whistle.*

"That was close."

Landing on the ground the woman mocked her opponent. The woman is question had a slim figure, she had light gray hair that was kept in a small braid on the left of her face. The braid was kept together by a cross-shaped pin. She had cross-shaped earrings dangling off her ears and her eyes were a dark gold colour. Not to mention that her attire consisted of typical black and white nun clothes and a matching head dress. The dress part of the outfit had a split in it that revealed a large part of her leg that was in covered in black and purple stockings.

Her figure, looks, and dress code gave her an aura of all around sexiness. From appearance alone, one could see that she was a sexy but deadly nun.

The other one who released the light blades had the appearance of a typical Japanese high schooler. This fact was strengthened by the red school uniform that she was wearing. She had short black hair and black coloured eyes. She wore black stockings and although her body was covered up, one could tell that her body was toned.

"Tch, the next one will hit." Gathering more light aura around her katana, she unequipped a silver hammer off her back and held it in the other hand.

"Hmm, you're strong."

Laying on the floor were the bodies of the house residents. 5 incredibly handsome men lay dead with a single hole in the place where their hearts were located.

"Come a little closer and you'll see just how strong I really am." The black haired girl smiled and drove more of her power into the sword and hammer.

Feeling the aura radiating off the weapons made the nun pause her steps as a look of surprise surfaced on her face. "That power on your sword... its divine. How can a human do that!?"

"You can ask when its buried deep in your body!" Executing her flash step, the black haired girl's body flickered and vanished.

"Very well." The nun's figure also flickered and vanished from sight.

*TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING* *TING*

The sound of their swords rang out as the two kept clashing against each other a speed that was impossible for the human eye to track.

---

"They're really going at it."

Watching the action from a distance, Jun couldn't help but comment on the situation. He had already spotted the bodies of his targets so technically his mission was considered a failure due to him not being the one to kill them.

To his surprise, he actually knew the girl in the school uniform. Karin Yuuki, UQ member #4 and probably one of the few people who he couldn't kill even with his mystic eyes. In his past life he read the UQ holder manga and felt like her character in particular stood out. Unlike the other immortals in the series, she alone was the only one who could be considered as perfect. Not needing to eat, not needing to drink, not needing to even breathe, her entire body and soul could be torn to shreds and the world itself would just put her back together like it never happened. It was even theorized that after humanity is gone, she will still go on living. Against this type of immortality Jun could do nothing. The moment she died or lost a limb, the world would simply put her back together. The only way to get rid of her was to either erase her existence from history, or to kill the thing that keeps bringing her back: Za Worldo!!

Unfortunately Jun's expertise didn't lie in raw destructive power. Instead choosing to hone his abilities to kill opponents in a quick, flawless strike, he specialized in speed and precision.

And this was not mentioning the fact that since her immortality is divine by nature, she is able to manipulate and utilize divine power that is normally seen in Gods and divine beings.

I think the vampire brothers were from some shoujo anime or something that a friend of mine was telling me about. Honestly the premise sounded really bad so at the time of me writting this I just wanted them dead... And lets just say I no longer take anime advice from this friend.
