Advanced Technological Carapace

My coat and shirt parted from the back to let the arms attach themselves to me. Then without my command, the coat which was a part of [Carapace] turned into liquid and covered all the arms.

I could feel the arm's connection to me fading and the arms turning to liquid before disappearing.

New abilities unlocked:

Telepathic Control over customisable arms: Octopus can control the actions of his artificial arms psionically, even when severed from his body and separated by vast distances.

Telescoping: Each customisable arm is approximately six feet long at full contraction, but can extend to a maximum of 24 feet in length.

Superhuman Striking Force: Each customisable arm is capable of moving at a speed of ninety feet per second and striking with the force of a jackhammer.

High-Wind Generation: The customisable arm can generate 50-mile-per-hour winds if spun like a giant fan(proper shape needed).

Wall-Climbing and Traveling: By combining the intrinsic strength of customisable arms user can scale stone, brick, or concrete walls by rending "handholds" in the surface of the wall. Able to use his tentacles for traversing horizontal distances as well. At full extension, can travel high above the ground as if on stilts, either using two customisable arms or for maximum speed (approximately 50 miles per hour), four customisable arms.

Sensation Feeling: Although there are no nerve endings throughout the length of his artificial arms, the user can "feel" basic and tactile sensations with them. ]

I got a bunch of abilities but the attacking abilities were subpar to my own so they were useless. I guess it could help a bit in mobility and manoeuvring so that's a good thing. I got a range attacking method as well, even if the force behind it would be weaker than my full force. The main jackpot is the telepathic control and sensing ability. There was also no mention of the number of arms possible.

So in theory I could make as many as I can manage which I believe should not be a problem. The other advantage is that now I have extra arms!! that I can use to do multiple things at once. I have not trained myself to multitask yet so I think I should develop that skill. I doubt I won't be able to learn parallel thinking, which can be advantageous in many things.

It's a good thing that the ability absorbed the arms before anyone else saw them. Yeah, they were still introducing themselves. Damn extroverts!

Now that I have this upgrade I feel greedy...if I could get this and going by the name of the ability, maybe if I wear any armour in the future then it could be absorbed to be added to the carapace. I can sense that I can still use the Carapace as an outfit-changing ability with basic defence but it seems that I underestimated it. This ability is essentially an upgradable armour inventory. I can just keep adding armours to it and then keep them bonded to me and available at all times. I can also view the available designs and edit them in mind willing them to appear.

I rub my hands and smile widely, now doesn't this mean that I could add Prowler's armour to my collection too? This is essentially a copy ability for anything technological. So I could already copy biological skills now I can do the same for tech abilities too? great!!!

I bet I could reverse engineer them and make them myself or maybe even make them from scratch but who doesn't like to get readymade products. I could just get them integrated into Carapace and then using extra material I could upgrade the tech and make them better.

Is this even Carapace ability anymore? My whole power foundation lies in the Dao of copying it seems hahahahaha.

I open my hacking program on my laptop and search for Prowler's armour. What's a better time to steal another tech armour and get it to come to me along with disabling a future enemy at the same time than now? I smile at the thought of a panicking Aaron Davis when his armour runs away from him kekekekeke.

I am so evil.

Soon in under 30 minutes I would have my hands on Prowler's armour as well. I would rather not wait for a fight to get it. I want it to be in good condition. It would be a good addition to the collection. Maybe I can use it in some upgrades in the future even if it is not that powerful. I am a believer in not wasting anything and looking for potential even in the most mundane tech.

I grab my laptop and go to the group of hyperactive spider people who are watching Peter teaching Miles some of the basic stuff. I guess this time Miles will be able to get a step by step guidance instead of learning himself. Can't tell which way would have been better for him but I am sure Peter will end up pushing him off a building and telling him to trust his instincts anyways.

We watch Peter demonstrate how to shoot webs at targets accurately and Miles enthusiastically enjoying every second of learning from his idol. The others sometimes volunteer to help too.

Hmm...maybe I could give some tips too while I wait for the armour to come...

Alright then... I smile while cracking my knuckles and enter the training area.

A/N: This arc is going to end soon. I feel no need to extend it more than I need to get all the useful abilities I can get from here xD So no B.S. long fights for you. MC is at large building level so only Green Goblin would be a match for him in a strength contest, but MC ain't a brute he has a lot of abilities that I am looking forward to using :D
