=“I can’t imagine what you’ll be doing in that house all by yourself.” Peggy voiced, dragging her mother’s suitcase behind her towards the front door.
Steph smirked, getting closer to the front door. “You ask that every time.”
“It’s a big house.” Peggy managed a shrug.
“If you want to come with me, say so. I would very much love that.” Steph looked back at Peggy with a sweet smile.
“Dad would be upset. I’m pretty sure he already doesn’t like you leaving after a week, much less me going.” Steph chuckled, shaking her head. “Although I wouldn’t mind having the house to myself when you’re busy working.”
“So you won’t be staying so you can be with me?” Finally at the door, she turned to face Peggy.
“Do you want me following you around everywhere? I can’t do that.”
“It’s a good thing you’re staying with your dad then. He needs your presence more than I do.”
Peggy bounced on the spot. “I’ll still miss you though.”
