Inklusive's First Day

Opening day finally came. The first day of Daniel's Start-up: The Inklusive Creatives and Advertising.

Daniel quickly completed his daily routine and got ready for work. He dressed in a sleek, smart-casual outfit consisting of a black, long-sleeved polo shirt and a simple black coat. He then made his way down to the temporary office space.

Upon entering the office, Daniel was pleased to find that it was a well-prepared. He felt this is already an optimal working environment, not much worse than established offices.

Wanting to treat his employees on everyone's first day of work, he ordered 12 boxes of pizza - 6 from S&R and 6 from Angel's Pizza - along with a few bags of chips, snacks, sodas, and juices. This was enough to cater to the less than 20 employees he had hired.

(Kinda ironic to be honest, since Daniel thought just a week ago that pizza parties are a way of some companies to bribe employees into thinking they care instead of really catering to their actual needs. Nevertheless, Daniel truly desires to look after and welcome his staff, and not just trying to cheapskate them, thus the pizza.)

At 9:00 AM, everyone had arrived, ready to start their new journey. The office was filled with excitement, and there was a sense of anticipation in the air.

Daniel called everyone's attention to officially begin the day.

"Good morning everyone, and welcome to the first day of Inklusive Creative and Advertising," Daniel greeted.

"I won't refer to it as a family, as some say it's a red flag when bosses say that," he joked, eliciting a few laughs from the team.

"However, I am genuinely grateful to have each and every one of you here, and I want to express my appreciation for taking a chance on this startup."

"I want us to function as a team, where we uphold professionalism while also fostering care and support for each other. Having been an employee myself not too long ago, I understand how important it is to feel valued and supported in the workplace. As your leader, I am committed to ensuring that everyone feels well taken care of and has the resources they need to thrive."

"I aim to create an open and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. If you have any concerns or ideas, please don't hesitate to approach me. I'm here to listen, and I believe that together, we can accomplish something extraordinary."

"As this is our first day together, I believe it's essential that we all get to know each other. We'll be introducing ourselves and sharing a fun fact about ourselves. Let's start with you Ellie," Daniel suggested, gesturing towards Ellie who was seated closest to him. Since they already know each other, Ellie can set the tone for the introductions.

Ellie was taken aback when she was called first, but she quickly regained her composure and confidently introduced herself. "Hi, everyone! My name is Ellie Eria, and I'm a painter. I also happen to be Sir Daniel's neighbor upstairs. We met when I clumsily dropped my art supplies, and he kindly helped me pick them up. It's funny how pleasant accidents can lead to new opportunities. Anyway, I'm thrilled to be here and work with all of you as the art director."

Paolo went next, exuding confidence as he spoke. "Hey, folks! I'm Paolo Fuentebella, and I'm the Finance Officer. I like to think of myself as a numbers guy. But don't worry, I won't bore you with too much math."

Alvin walked up to the group with a warm smile on his face. "Hello, everyone! I'm Alvin Arboleda, the HR and Office Manager. If you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to come to me. I'm here to help make your work life as smooth as possible."

Nhicole stood up, radiating confidence and enthusiasm. "Hi, all! My name is Nhicole Coral, and I'm the Digital Marketing Manager. I used to work with Sir Daniel at The Metro Times TV as a Social Media Manager, and I'm excited to join this amazing team at Inklusive Creatives and Advertising."

Dwight spoke up next in a clear, steady voice. "Greetings, everyone. My name is Dwight Bernardo, and I'm the new copywriter. I'm also a poet and a novelist, so I love working with words and creating stories."

Then next came Aeryl with a charming smile on her face. "Hey there, I'm Aeryl Thyrth, the Creative Director. I'm thrilled to be working with all of you and creating some amazing projects together!"

Nina stepped forward next, looking a bit nervous, but still introducing herself with a soft, shy voice. "Um, hi. I'm Nina Rodriguez, and I'm the Graphic Designer. I'm excited to be a part of this talented team."

Jewel Bernardino followed with a warm smile. "Hi, I'm Jewel. I'll be your account manager. I'm here to make sure everything runs smoothly and that all our clients are happy with our work."

Lily walked up next, speaking in a clear and professional tone. "Greetings, everyone. My name is Lily Eiliram, and I'm also an Account Manager. Let's all work together and make some great projects for our clients."

Jhunel spoke next, his eyes sparkling with passion. "Hey, guys! I'm Jhunel Alivarvar, the Photographer and Videographer. I'm also an anime and game enthusiast, so if you need any recommendations, just let me know."

Jerome came up next with a serious but friendly expression. "Hello, everyone. My name's Jerome Español, and I'm the Video Editor. I like biking."

John Paul went up last, beaming with excitement. "Hey, everyone! I'm John Paul Santos, but you can call me JP. I'm the Head Producer, and I'm here to help make some magic happen. Let's make some great projects together!"

After the introductions, Daniel rose from his seat and addressed the team with a smile. "Thank you all for taking the time to share a bit about yourselves. I'm confident that with such a diverse and talented group, we'll work together brilliantly." He then invited everyone to indulge in the delicious pizza and other refreshments provided.

Everyone then started to enjoyed the pizza and other refreshments that Daniel had ordered. It was a great start to their new journey together, and they were all excited about the possibilities that lay ahead. The team was ready to work hard and collaborate to create something truly extraordinary.
