"Isabella."

Johannes called Isabella cautiously.

"Yes, Grandfather?"

Without looking at Johannes, Isabella said while trying her best to cut her steak with a knife.

"Will you go to the garden today?"

"No."

Isabella replied right away. 

"You won't?"

Johannes said with a forced smile.

"No. I will read books from your library."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Here, Grandfather."

Isabella said forwarding a fork with a piece of steak in it to Johannes. 

"Huh?"

Being surprised, Johannes looked at Isabella with widened eyes.

"Not 'Huh', Grandfather. Say 'Ah'. Hurry. My hand is hurting."

"Oh, Yes."

Saying that Johannes opened his mouth with teary eyes. He couldn't believe that there would be a day when his little Bell would feed him.

As Johannes opened his mouth, Isabella fed him the piece of steak.
