I Isekaid Into A Vampire World

[Completed] Dehlia, a twenty-two-year woman, and an orphan lived a mundane life - an ordinary life that had no trace of excitement. Every day was the same for her. Even when her boyfriend broke things off with her, she didn't cry nor was she disheartened, if anything, she was glad that a burden was lifted off her shoulder. She now had only herself to take care of. However, Fate seems to have other plans for her. While surfing through the internet after her break-up, she stumbles upon beta testing for an interactive game and after answering a few questions, falls asleep only to wake up in a vampire world. The world Dahlia thought she knew had changed or maybe this wasn't her world at all and her system made sure to remind her of that. Vampires are wickedly beautiful, charming, fast, strong creatures but yet unabashedly arrogant as they claim to be superior to humans. Unfortunately, this time they rule this world, and Dehlia, sadly, creates a huge scene on the 1000th birthday of the vampire king, Romulus Dominica IV. Although she managed to escape, she didn't escape the claws of Romulus who has his influence all over the vampire world. Now, Dahlia has jumped from frying pan to fire because as punishment she was chosen to compete for the king. A battle Royale where the vampire exerts their dominance and women fight against each other to emerge winner and gets to be the chosen bride of the great Romulus. But then what happens when the vampire king no longer see humans as measly creatures and Dehlia has no choice but to play along to the system's wishes? What can they do when there's danger lurking around the corner. Sometimes, love has to be fought over. Note: this is my first time writing a system novel and I might not be perfect at it. Nobody Was Capturing Her Tonight

The skill Dehlia purchased was not as bulletproof as she thought and she found out the hard way when she knocked down a servant carrying a tray of blood to the hall.

It didn't splash on her because she dodged on time, however, she alerted the vampire guards that were available that something was going on. Perhaps in her world, an invincible force knocking down a tray of drinks would seem as creepy, but in here, everything was possible.

By the time the vampires there were able to catch up with what was going on, she had already taken off. But there was a little problem, Dehlia was running out of strength and her ribs hurt like hell and it didn't help matters that she didn't know where she was nor the entranceway.

Perhaps, she should ask the system for a map of this place. But then, would that ripper system give her that for free? That irritating, money-hungry #$@!% system!

One thing was for sure, Dehlia had to keep going down unless she's planning on jumping to her death from the rooftop. The heavy thud of approaching footsteps forced her to hasten her footsteps until she found herself at the stables.

The stable?

Her eyes widened at once, it was the closest to the outside. So even though the pain from her lungs was so painful, Dehlia kept on running and made it

outside.

But the stables were not her priorities nor was she interested in riding a horse, it would only draw attention to herself. Nor was she interested in testing a theory, a horse, and a vampire who could run faster?

Dehlia kept running east knowing the vampires were closer now. The stables led into a bush that she ran through, shoving past scrubs and grateful for the moonlight that lit up her path else she would have tripped already.

Dehlia came to a dead end, it was a river. Oh no, this was terrible... Oh yes! Her eyes lit up at once as she came to a startling realization that the water can rid her scent. Dear merciful God, he finally heard her prayers!

Without wasting time, Dehlia dived straight into the river, the cold water knocking the breath out of her lungs. She shivered and with every breath she took, her ribs hurt but Dehlia had a strong will to live. Nobody was capturing her today!

Dehlia had already swum quite a distance when she looked back and from the distance, saw hundreds of vampires at the river bank.

"Holy God!" Dehlia was shocked out of her mind. Why were there so many vampires after her? Even back on earth, the world's most notorious killer wasn't being chased by this amount of people. They made her feel important? An important criminal?

However, what puzzled Dehlia was the fact that none of them made any move to step into the river. Could it be that vampires were afraid of large bodies of water?

Well.... that's good news for HER! She could swim along to safety and then find out more about this world she came into.

"See you suckers!" Dehlia celebrated her successful escape, swimming backwardly so she could get a good look at them. She wished she was on solid ground so she could do a little victory dance.

Her heart was pounding so hard, this was the first time she did something this brave and exciting. Maybe, being here wasn't so bad after all. Dehlia was so full of happiness when she noticed something strange.

The vampires suddenly began to part in the middle as if they were trying to welcome someone and that made her brows furrow. Who was that?

Since it was late and she was far away, Dahlia couldn't exactly get a good view of him, however, she could tell from the aura he depicted that he was someone significant. Well, what was he going to do now? Scare her? With what?

Dehlia shouldn't have jinxed her luck. At first, it had seemed like the man was doing a weird dance and she was watching him with interest when she heard it - the sound of rushing water. She then turned only for her jaw to drop to the ground.

The water level had risen so massively high, it looked like it was glaring down at her. How was this possible?

In a panic, Dehlia turned around to see the vampire had his arm up in the air as of he was manipulating the water. And then it hit her, he was making a wave. This was magic.

Dehlia could have sworn she saw the man smirk, if that was possible. And she knew at once, he was going to drown her to death.

"No, no, no, don't you dare…!" Dehlia tried to swim to safety but that was when that asshole let his hand down and the wave blasted into her with full impact.
