Ant Gems - [ Chapter - 35 ]

So then Sin-ui used his mach Drill ability aiming for the Queen Ant, the ants tried to block it but because of Sloth's effects, their power became a lot weaker and slower which allowed Sin-ui to easily break through it.

The drill went through the piles of ants that tried to block the attack do the Queen Ant and it was able to create a huge mark on it's body and so then Sin-ui kept trying to use it over and over again but in smaller forms.

When he did this the speed of the drill effect appearing boosted up and it was nearly instant and so he tried combining with his magic blast ability and tried shooting one at the Queen Ant after a while.

He then shot it at the boss as now the drill effect is covered in very dense mana and Sin-ui used Hermes' Authority again and appeared right beside the Queen Ant as the drill blast was coming at it.

Before Sin-ui attacked the Queen Ant he let the drill blast hit it and it was focused on blocking the attack but it was still able to take quite a lot of damage but then he brought his sword out and then charged at it.

Sin-ui took his sword and tried to cover it with the drill effect but a weaker version and an even smaller and even better version for him to use with a sword and he covered it in Despair's aura and tried slashing the boss.

While he was doing this his energy was being drained rapidly since he was using multiple abilities and authorities at once and after a while of slashing the Queen Ant with his insane speed from Hermes' Authority.

Which with every hit he made dealt a lot of damage towards it because it also had Despair's decaying effect and it was surrounding the Queen Ant's but body as it started to scream in pain cause of it.

After attacking it multiple times Sin-ui helped Gluttony and the rest with killing all of the ants in the area they were at and there we was an incredible amount of ants that were still gathering to fight and try to kill him.

Then while he was killing the other ants, the Queen Ant finally fell as it did the ants started to roam around more and got less focused in fighting and they tried to quickly leave as they scattered around the place without a leader.

But as he was killing the ants, he tried appraising the place and saw that there were four unique variants of ants that he saw and so he was a bit curious because of this and he wanted to ask more question about this.

Although he was able to take down the Queen Ant and get some experience and points, he still needed to take care of the rest of the ants and he was still very curious about the unique ant variants be saw before.

So he decided to appraise them further and he also tried using his hidden finder and saw that the four variants had a special drop that would be dropped at 100% but he still couldn't see what it was until he appraised it himself.

Sin-ui then took out his sword again and then charged at the four ants and the color of the four ants were very different from the rest, the four ants' colors were blue, red, green and purple so he wanted to see what it would drop.

As he was charging at them, he activated Wrath's Authority and Greed' Authority, which boosted his strength and boosted loot drop percentage and he swiftly cut off the heads of the four ants.

While also killing a few of the other ants and unlike the other ants, he had killed the body of the ant felt tough and it wasn't like skin or flesh so he wasn't sure if it was a defensive species but he went to pick up the loot.

After collecting everything he got four gems with ant symbols on it and each one had a matching color of the ant he had killed and so he was about to appraise it but then he saw that the Queen Ant's body could be collected.

When he saw that he realized the Queen Ant was a boss which he didn't expect but he still went up to it and collected the body of the queen ant and it disappeared as Greed's Authority was still activated.

Then he checked what items he got from the boss and he got loads of rare materials that would've taken a bunch of Queen Ants to get but thanks to Greed's Authority he got loads of materials from just one corpse.

Once he finished looking at the items he got, he realized he got a unique item from the boss which was it's antenna and it could be used to create a manipulation item and he knew this thanks to his engineering ability.

But he decided to just use his devouring ability so that his manipulation ability woild become stronger and so he tried devouring it and it started to turn darker and dimmer than before and he felt that his ability was indeed getting stronger.

He was really happy and he wanted to try it out and so he tried controlling some ants and the green lights came out of his hands again and he was able to control them better than before using less of his energy.

The moment he saw the notification he tried checking the ability's description and saw that he could do loads of things than just manipulating memories now and he could completely manipulate the mind of something.

So he decided to check it out and saw the he didn't need to do anything complicated to control the ant anymore and he just needed to think what he wanted the ant to do and it would try to do it however it could.

His ability was now even stronger than before and so he was extremely happy but then he remembered about the gems from before and so he then appraised then and saw that they were called "Ant Gems".

Which had different authorities embedded into it and if it was attached onto an item it would have the authority but Sin-ui just started copying the abilities of the gem and it was different from how he copied abilities from before.

As he was copying the abilities blue, red, green, purple lights started to gather together and they each became a huge clump of light and blasted into Sin-ui and his body started to glow the four colors as well now.
