Plan To Escape

As Bai Shen walked through the corridor, a few zombies popped up from the staircase.

Their eyes seemed to light up after seeing Bai Shen.

Producing different growls, they tried to rush forward and kill the young man.

Unfortunately, how could Bai Shen become their prey when he barely acknowledged their presence?

Taking advantage of his speed to finish the fight faster, Bai Shen quickly disposed of the seven zombies, only leaving behind some pools of blood.

Checking his experience bar, he saw that the zombies didn't give him too much experience.

It was probably because of his high level that zombies either gave him too little experience or none at all.

Still, this didn't stop Bai Shen from continuing to clear the staircase full of zombies at all.

In a couple of minutes, the young man was already on the first floor once again. Over fifty zombies fell under his sword.

After a few more seconds, Bai Shen was excited to have received what he looked forward to.

He leveled up again.

'Add 10 Attribute Points to Luck.' As Bai Shen said this, he watched as his Luck changed from 4 to 5.

'My Attributes didn't even increase with one point after using Steal on so many zombies. Does this mean that I should wait for these guys to fatten before killing them?!'

A bit angry about the whole experience received situation, Bai Shen shook his head before trying not to think too much about it.

He understood that at this point, he was probably one of the fastest people in the world to reach such a level.

So there shouldn't be a need to complain.

'Maybe by finding a ton of Mutants would help. I wonder where is the nearest Zoo... Wait, they wouldn't stay in the same place.'

Bai Shen thought hard, but he couldn't come up with a good plan, he decided to ask everyone for their opinion after regrouping in his Territory.

For now, he once again got up to the 10th Floor after clearing the area, to tell the students there to follow him.

"It's safe now. There's no zombie left in our path, but I've been meaning to ask. Is there another exit from here? One that couldn't be accessed by the zombies?"

Tang Yue and the others seemed to think for a while, and it was Luo Tian, the bow user, who suddenly raised his hand.

"I think it would be possible to use the basement to reach the other building that's close to the dorm."

"And luckily for us, the dorm is pretty close to the gate. We could use that to our advantage and escape from here."

Bai Shen pondered for a while before he nodded, even Tang Yue seemed to agree to the plan.

They also thought about it in the past few days, but since zombies constantly roamed around, it was impossible to leave the classroom.

They occasionally opened the classroom and killed those zombies in front of the door, before closing the door once again.

This allowed them to farm some levels, but since they needed to survive, two out of three points received from the level up were used for their Physique.

Bai Shen was impressed by their mindset, other people, him included, would've probably used those points to increase their Strength or Agility.

This would allow them to kill zombies easily.

But what was the point?

Since the campus was full of zombies, too many for a few people to kill, it was the best decision to survive here as much as they could.

Bai Shen was impressed by the students' patience and wits; he knew he wouldn't regret their addition to the Territory.

"Okay now, come with me in total silence. Luo Tian, stay behind me. You're going to point me the way."

After a few minutes, Bai Shen, along with Tang Yue, Luo Tian, and the others, began to make their way to the basement.

The first thing they saw were those bodies of the zombies that Bai Shen killed earlier, and that shocked them.

There were simply too many zombies laying around, and almost all of them had a single thing in common: their throats were slashed by a sword.

They couldn't help but look at Bai Shen with clear reverence in their eyes.

'Did he really kill so many zombies alone? Just how strong is he? What's his level?' Tang Yue thought that she was quite strong, but seeing Bai Shen's power made her doubt herself.

And she didn't know if he went all out, since he came back after a few minutes without an injury or ragged breath; meaning that he must've been quite casual in disposing of the zombies.

'I think we made the correct decision to follow this guy.'

Not only Tang Yue, but the other students and even Luo Tian thought so.

They felt safe, knowing that someone so strong was leading the way for them.

After a couple of minutes, Bai Shen and the others arrived in front of the basement door.

Quickly inspecting it, they saw that the door was still intact, meaning that no zombie forced it.

"It should be safe, but just for the sake of precaution, please stay back and let me explore the way a bit."

Hearing Bai Shen say that, the group backed away a bit and allowed him to go inside.

Opening the door, Bai Shen was surprised to see it was quite illuminated, 'The reserve generator must be still working.'

Since the Apocalypse began, there were still a few places that could use electricity, but since the power plants that produced it couldn't function properly, it was hard to say how long this would go on for.

Seeing that the path ahead was safe, Bai Shen turned back and announced to the others.

Once again, the group tried to make their way toward the dorm, praying that they could easily leave this place and arrive at Bai Shen's Territory.

"Let's go."
