Now, seeing Kaiya's face, Jin Wei realized who she was because who could forget those unique eyes of hers?
But now he was confused. Why would Kaiya follow him in? Doesn't she know just how dangerous dungeons are? Only a foolish person would enter a dungeon without making any preparations.
"Why did you follow me, Kaiya?" Jin Wei asked with irritation, as he never expected someone to follow him without him noticing. With his vampiric sense, he was sure he could detect almost anyone close to him, but he couldn't detect Kaiya, almost as if she followed him from a long distance so he couldn't sense her with his Vampiric sense.
But that's not possible. How can someone still follow him while staying far away from him? That's only possible if the one following him is far stronger than him. But he remembers Kaiya being weak and bullied, so how would she be stronger than him? Was it all just an act? If so, then he is really in danger.
His head was full of these thoughts, but he remained on his guard, prepared to attack at any moment if the situation came to that.
But little did he know, he was just overthinking. Kaiya followed him from a distance, and this was possible due to her ability. She was not some overpowered assassin after his life or anything.
Hearing Jin Wei say her name, Kaiya's face had blushed. All thoughts about her being stupid had disappeared. Just realizing that Jin Wei remembered her made her feel like she was in 9th heaven.
She was having the happiest moment in her life.
"I-I'm so-sorry," Kaiya replied nervously, not trying to lie. How could she deceive her savior, her prince, who became the sole light in her life filled with darkness?
Jin Wei was again confused. Wasn't she here to assassinate him? So why was she acting so defenseless? But now that he thinks about it, if she was as powerful as he expected, then she would have already attacked him by now. And on top of that, he is the personal student of Captain Aurora. Who would dare to do anything to him? Not even some young master of the Original family would dare to do anything to him without any reason.
"Sigh, anyway, why did you follow me in? Don't you know it's dangerous to enter a dungeon?" Jin Wei asked with suspicion but not on his guard anymore.
Kaiya again feels guilty, as she is practically a useless person. How would she be any help to Jin Wei? She would be just a burden if she stayed with him. And Kaiya doesn't want to be a burden in the eyes of Jin Wei, no matter what, even if it means she has to die.
"Ah...um… I-I am s-sorry, I-I know what I did is stupid, and I deserve to die. You can leave me here, don't worry." Kaiya said with determination.
Jin Wei was a bit speechless. Doesn't she care about living? Even the most depressed person who wants to die, faces a situation where they are going to die, they would do anything to survive. That's just how it is. But Kaiya is different. Even when there was a 110% chance of her dying if she remained here, still, she wasn't struggling, and asking for his help, as any normal human would do.
"Sigh, this is troublesome," Jin Wei muttered, while Kaiya just kept her head down, fully prepared to die if necessary.
Jin Wei doesn't know her well enough for him to think about saving her. But since she entered right after him, and the academy already registered their entry, if he left her to die here, then the academy would question him further and would keep an eye on him in the future, making his movements limited. That's something he wishes to avoid, so he needs to protect her inside this dungeon even if he doesn't want to.
"Do you have an ability?" Jin Wei asked curiously, trying to make the best use of her while she was here.
Kaiya looked at Jin Wei with shock. She thought he would leave her and go on his way, as she was just a burden. But he was asking for her ability, which meant there was still a chance for her to be more useful to him.
But on second thought, her ability is nothing related to fighting. How can she be anything helpful?
"M-my a-ability is useless. You shouldn't worry about me," Kaiya replied, not daring to look at Jin Wei face to face.
"Woman, don't make me repeat myself, and I didn't ask for your opinion, so tell me what I asked for." Jin Wei ordered in a threatening tone, but Kaiya felt no fear. Instead, her eyes watered. In her eyes, Jin Wei was caring about her, and even if she stopped him, he would still care for her.

"I-It's called 'Blind Eye'. It allows me to see the world differently. I have 360-degree vision, and currently, I can see anything in a diameter of 1 km. But I can't see like normal people do, as I am b-blind. Still, I can differentiate between things based on the light they emit." Kaiya explained truthfully.
Jin Wei now realized how she followed him without him knowing. 'This ability is perfect for spying, but currently not too useful in combat.' Jin Wei thought and looked at Kaiya, who was still feeling guilty.
"Sigh, from now on, follow me, and do everything I told you to do. If I find out that you are disobeying, I will leave you here." Jin Wei said in a threatening tone. But for Kaiya, she was hearing honey in her ears.
"Y-yes!!!" Kaiya replied and looked at Jin Wei with determination. She was fully prepared to make herself useful to Jin Wei in any way possible.
