"Ding! Congratulations to the host for discovering the mission Eternal Secret, Complete all branches to finish the mission!"
Branch 1: Completed!
Branch 2: Completed!
Branch 3: Stop Supergiant from taking the Tesseract—and kill her!
At that moment, Thor finally understood the key to repairing the timeline. The fate of Captain America or Howard Stark's future were minor ripples in comparison; they weren't essential for him to address directly. The true lynchpins in the timeline are the Supergiant and the Tesseract. Without the Tesseract, Captain Marvel would never appear, the Avengers Initiative wouldn't exist, and humanity would delay contact with alien civilizations by more than a decade.
No wonder there were only four Black Order members under Thanos. As it turned out, Supergiant had died on Earth in the 1940s.
Suddenly, a figure approached—a woman with a tall, slender frame but a face even less pleasant than Ebony Maw's.
"Who are you?" Supergiant demanded, eyeing him warily. Although he wore armor, he exuded a power she'd never felt from any opponent before.
A peculiar wave of energy split in two—one part drifted towards Thor, while the other moved quietly in Peggy Carter's direction.
Crack! Blinding lightning surged around them, instantly dissipating Supergiant's energy.
"Don't even think about using your mind control tricks," Thor sneered. "You don't stand a chance."
In truth, he barely thought anything of this so-called Thanos scout. I've already beaten Thanos himself. Who do you think you are?
Supergiant paled, realizing that Thor's spiritual strength far outmatched hers. Gritting her teeth, she summoned her Psychokinesis, forming it into a long spear and thrust it toward him.
Bang! Lightning-infused punches collided with the spear's tip, shattering it instantly and continuing forward with unstoppable force.
"Aaah!" Supergiant screamed as she flew backward, landing over ten meters away. She looked up at Thor in horror.
Seeing the situation grow dire, she unleashed another energy blast aimed straight at Peggy Carter and then turned to escape in the opposite direction.
Thor quickly stepped in front of Peggy, smashing the energy ball with ease. Supergiant was nowhere near his level. None of the Black Order generals could match him; she was merely putting herself on a silver platter for him. As long as he avoided her mind control, she was easy prey.
"She's getting away!" Peggy shouted, still shaken by the scene but trusting Thor. Supergiant had climbed into an unfamiliar plane, trying to escape.
"She won't get far." Thor's gaze sharpened as he raised his hand skyward. A bolt of lightning shot into the clouds, and suddenly, the winds roared to life.
Peggy had never seen anything like this. Black clouds gathered low in the sky, thunder crackled louder than she had ever heard, and it felt as if the whole sky was about to crash down.
At the horizon, a blinding bolt of lightning tore across the sky, streaking toward the plane with destructive force.
Supergiant, still reeling in shock, saw a sudden flash in the sky. Before she could react, the blazing lightning struck her plane.
"No—!" Her terrified scream was cut short as the plane was engulfed in lightning and instantly reduced to ashes.
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for completing Eternal Secret, Branch 3: Stop Supergiant from taking the Tesseract and kill her!"
"Ding! Mission complete. Eternal Secret is now fully completed. Reward: Immortality!"
"Ding! Timeline repair mission completed. The host will return in ten minutes. Please prepare for transport."
Warning: The host cannot bring any living beings to the future! Attempting to do so will result in forced deactivation.
