The Truth

Tsk!

Saber clicked his tongue in anger when hearing the tone of his master as he then replied...

"You already know the answer.

Ever since I was created, the only thing I knew was either killing my very own self simply to survive or doing any and everything for another one's goal. Of course, I wouldn't mind doing such a thing under any other circumstance. After all, I, along with all other Sabers were created by the original to help in his growth.

But, with the sudden change of events, and the fact that Saber still refuses to search through my thoughts, there isn't any reason why not to gain a substantial amount of strength to break away from the destiny of a slave.

Never would I jeopardize our goal of ruling this universe for my petty gain, but with the fact that I am now the one in charge, why would I not do something for myself and my benefit. Why would I simply carry out these robotic actions and listen to every command of origin?"

Saber said while his hollow eyes showed pain and suffering. While talking about his past to his master, his voice would sometimes crack as some memories embedded deep in the back of his mind would resurface.

The pain of watching someone who had the same features as you dying painful deaths, and then being devoured was something that had made him uncomfortable since killing himself the very first time.

"If I can gain strength higher than origin, I would be able to free myself from fate. If he dies in hell, I would be able to survive, and with you, I'm sure I'll be able to continue the goal of conquering the universe.

If he survives, then like the time we decided who the origin was going to be, both origin and I would have a fair one-on-one dual...!!"

His eyes blazed with determination, and even though he wasn't even sure how he could surpass the original, he would try. He would try to find a way, and if he couldn't, then he'll simply continue being the 'Second' until origin Saber decides to devour him.

"Even though I am unsure if it is even plausible to surpass my origin, I'll still try even though I know that I'm but a mere copy. So, the question is, would you, who is the master of origin Saber, try to stop me, a mere copy?!"

While sitting seiza style and gazing at the beautiful scenery with a cup of tea in his hand, Saber asked his master the one question that held back his pursuit of what he could call true freedom.

"Hehe, it seems that you greatly misunderstand me, boy!" While floating around with a bored expression plastered on his face, a peal of creepy laughter escaped Goldy's lips as he replied.

"I am not origin Saber's master. My disciple is the existence called Saber, it matters not if it is the first or a copy, whichever Saber is the strongest, I'll teach.

If you could surpass your original version, you would be my disciple. And, it isn't as if it is impossible either, in fact, there are many ways to surpass the original."

The casually spoken words of Goldy caused Saber's ears to perk up. His dull eyes brightened with hope as he gave his master his full attention and asked with an excited tone.

"W-What do you mean there are many ways to surpass the original Saber?!" While dropping the cup of tea on the ground, and shooting up to his feet in Goldy's direction, Saber blurted...

"As I said, there are many ways. To name a few, you can simply master and refine everything that you already have.

For example, the power that is inside of you, even though you completely control every fiber of it, you are still unable to use all of it to a substantial level. Another example is the fact that you have a special body, and an even more special racial transformation that isn't even complete.

If one can master every perk that comes with one's existence, then one would truly become a formidable opponent.

Your current situation is very similar to a saying from a world in a normal universe. It goes something like this...

Fear, not the man who practices ten-thousand techniques once, instead, fear the man who has practiced one technique ten-thousand times..."

Bruce peacefully sat in between harsh weather as flaming tornadoes swirled around him. Shockingly, and similarly to Saber, Bruce's current appearance and aura were that of utmost regularity.

One could mistake him for a normal human as in the skies of this room created by the Exypnos people, clouds similar to the clouds of Saber's Immortal Ascension Heavenly Tribulation began forming.

Yet, before they could fully take form, they dispersed as the aura of Bruce blazed outward. His senses which were in a state of enlightenment alerted him of a dreadful and deathly feeling approaching from behind him.

"You know, when we Sabers absorb someone, we also absorb their element...

Sadly, we can't absorb any and every element we see since every element we absorb seemingly is absorbed by our Primordial Chaos element. When that happens, the speed at which we comprehend the Primordial Chaos element is slowed significantly.

Luckily, wherever one reaches in their comprehension, we would also understand such a level when we absorb one's element. For example, if you have reached 0.9% comprehension in an element, we would also instantly comprehend 0.9% of the said element."

Saber's voice entered the alarmed Bruce's ears. The sight of Saber leisurely approaching him with his hands behind his back and his kingly attire reeking an authoritative aura entered Bruce's eyes. Saber's next words though, caused Bruce's eyes to showcase the emotions of shock, fear, and anger.

"What origin Saber had planned was for you to continue comprehending the element of invincibility until completion. Thereafter, he would devour you and your element, saving the trouble of lowering the speed at which he comprehended Primordial Chaos."

Saber's calm smirk caused Bruce's anger to rise. Saber was talking about his life, yet he had such a calm smile as if it had nothing to do with him. Wasn't Saber the one who even posed the threat to his life?!

Bruce's aura began rising as his sclera turned black while his pupils became a mixture of red and gold, along with his hair that stood on end. His aura which showed no signs of stopping instantly began withering away as the words of Saber then entered his ears once more.

"Don't look at me like that...! This was the plan of origin, not me. I am after all only a mere copy of origin. They call me 'The Second'!"

THRUM!!

Bruce unconsciously shook in fear!

His previous feeling of wrath disappeared in a mere instant as an uncontrollable fear and absolute dread gripped his heart. Even though his strength was once dramatically increasing, as Saber's words entered his ears, it was as if even the element of Invincibility realized that it wasn't all that invincible.

Why was he soo scared...?!

It was because he was well aware of 'The Second'.

Origin Saber was kind enough to convey to him the hierarchy of the multiple Sabers in existence. And what he learned of the Saber standing in front of him was the fact that he was a sadistic counterpart of origin Saber and also had multiple personality disorder...!!
