Devour Anything!

And what he learned of the Saber standing in front of him was the fact that he was a sadistic counterpart of origin Saber and also had multiple personality disorder...!!

*PUCHI*

Bruce's expression froze in shock, disbelief, and fear when the sound of his chest being penetrated suddenly entered his ears. Even with the figure of Saber standing in front of him, somehow, someone was able to sneak up on him and seemingly impale his chest with a sharp claw-like object...!

"You didn't think that the person you were speaking to was me... right?!" Saber's voice entered Bruce's ears. His previously spiky golden hair dropped while his sclera returned to a white color. Seeping out his mouth was visible dark red blood and his eyes contained disbelief and wrath that was still unsatiated.

In his view, the figure of Saber began fading away, as if it was never there in the first place... Slowly, his head bent down as Bruce realized his heart was firmly gripped by the claw-like nails and palm of Saber's right hand.

But, just as the view was being processed in his mind, there was mysterious energy of dark purple color that appeared as it then began wrapping itself around his heart. A deathly feeling reeked from the energy, as Bruce weakly gazed on in hopelessness as his heart was seemingly devoured by it.

"Unlike the previous Saber that you know, I'll get stronger anyhow. It matters not if I have to waste some of my bloodline's potential by absorbing the bloodlines of weaker races. After all, even a slight rise in strength is better than nothing..."

Saber whispered in Bruce's ears. It was a Bruce whose lifeforce had already dwindled as the light in his eyes faded away. Unlike when Saber still had blood and flesh and could survive without his heart, Bruce was after all a normal human with a not-so-normal past.

The dark purple energy then went on to slowly corrode the whole of Bruce's body while golden energy leaked from Saber's pores. Saber's eyes lit up as he felt the new strength that was growing inside his body.

BOOM!

His aura exploded outwards as one would be able to realize that inside the deep dark purple aura, there was a golden aura... A golden aura that represented what Saber had just devoured.

It was the sign of Invincibility as Saber then muttered.

"Hmm, I bet if it was anyone else, Bruce may have been able to escape death. I guess I have the title of being a detached lifeform to thank... But, to think that there was something like traveling through time.!!"

Rendered shocked by the memories of Bruce and his mysterious past, Saber was left with a wide smirk on his face as he couldn't believe such things were possible. It seemed as if the universe still had many surprises and mysteries for him to uncover.

As Bruce's skeleton dropped to the ground, and blood dripped from Saber's claw-like hand, he began walking toward the exit of the room while the golden aura slowly grew as if it wanted to equal and surpass the dark purple one...

The skies were dark. The darkish purple sky gave everyone who resided on the planet, a creepy feeling that gripped their heart. It was a feeling of fear that palpated in their chest and a shiver that ran up their spines every few seconds.

It was like this for the past few minutes. As the time lengthened, the aura darkened and the scary feeling deepened. As if any minute now, the heinous creature who was the cause of this would appear on their home planet.

"Master, what do you think this is...?!" A rugged voice entered the ears of a man who seemed to be in his late eighties. His face was filled with wrinkles and his hair had long turned grey.

But, the most noticeable feature would have to be his golden skin which was oddly very familiar to Alexander, the prisoner that Saber once rescued from the custody of the humans.

"It is inevitable...death has come for our species...the cause...I am unsure...I can see nothing into the future...I can see nothing into the destiny of the one who extinct my race...I cannot see...!"

The mumblings of the old man caused the one responsible for the rugged voice, a burly man who also had gold skin and was kneeling, to then run toward the old man sitting cross-legged on a mat.

If one was present, they'll barely be able to discern the trickle of blood that escaped the lips of the old man. The old man's eyes were bloodshot as it seemed that mysteriously enough, a few of his veins around the said area had popped...!

"Soo...Is this the so-called destiny element...?"

The burly-looking golden-skinned man who was hurriedly approaching his master with clear worry on his face suddenly halted his movements. The creepy voice of a certain person entered his ears while a dark purple aura tinged in a slightly golden outline began wrapping itself around his and his master's body.

"Death...death has come...this is the end...!" The old man muttered with his eyes closed. His muscles relaxed and his voice calm, the old man seemed to have accepted his inevitable fate of death...

Grrrhhhh!

"Y-You bastard!!..."

With a show of great willpower, the golden-skinned man cursed at Saber while he channeled his energy out of his pores. It was to fight against the darkish purple energy that was currently trying to corrode his body.

He was in a rush... He not only needed to hurriedly resist the energy that threatened to corrode his body, but he also needed to quickly prevent this energy from seemingly devouring his master...all while somehow resisting the very mysterious lifeform who was the cause of this situation!!

But, while resisting with his life on the line, something caught his attention. It was something utterly dreadful. He realized that shockingly enough, it seemed as if his very lifeforce was being drained out of him as his body slowly withered away to nothingness.

To top it off, with the energy that threatened to devour everything that made him up, the duo worked with horrific synchronicity as the disciple of the old man was helpless in trying to fight back.

Even while trying to use his elemental ability, he realized that shockingly enough, he was unable to call forth his ability nor was he even able to use an elemental transformation, something that everyone with a fair amount of comprehension of an element could use.

"Do you see? Just like your master says, you have no chance of escaping death... Your death is inevitable..." With a berating tone, Saber stated when seeing the petty struggles of the man. With the continuous devouring of his energy, the disciple of the old man, along with the old man, both dropped to the floor with lifeless bodies.

Saber on the other hand had a cold smile on his face as he suddenly felt something very interesting. It was something with his body as he felt, coursing through his very 'cells', an immense amount of power ready to explode.

"Mid Level, Level 1 Immortal!!"

Saber mumbled in pure ecstasy as the bodies of the two on the ground became skeletons. Saber's figure disappeared as he reappeared in the skies.

A smirk on his face, he said.

"Devouring all of you people, High Level, Level 1 Immortal realm is inevitable...!"
