Massive Door

"Oh my, it seems that you have evolved into a True Lifeform." Saber's master said as he appeared next to the confused Saber. Though it wasn't something worth mentioning, Saber's master was also able to see Saber's stats.

What surprised him though, wasn't his stats but his race. He expected him to be a part of that accursed Primordial Chaos race, but he did not expect it to be a hybrid.

He was unsure how such a race could have a hybrid, but he did not think about it too much as he instead began explaining to Saber who asked.

"What do you mean by, 'True Lifeform'?" Saber asked in confusion. Even Leviathan who was sitting on Saber's shoulder couldn't help but be intrigued. It wasn't like he knew what Saber's master was talking about so he truly was interested in the topic.

"Yes, True Lifeform. It is normally only a title placed by Lifeforms who have surpassed a certain level, and a mortal such as yourself can't claim such a title, yet here you are with it." Saber's master said with a smile on his face, and with his domain that was shocking, a lot bigger than previously, Saber was able to see his master's smile.

Thinking of domain, Saber suddenly realized that his surroundings weren't as he remembered.

'No, let's not even talk about that, nor the fact that my domain is covering the whole of this 50,000-kilometer continent, let's instead try to figure out why I can't see inside of my own body!'' Saber said in his mind as he once more began losing his cool.

He was getting extremely angry at the fact that he somehow had the same amount of knowledge about himself as an infant. The fact that he could even get mad even after killing his wrathful self gave him even more reasons to get angrier.

Saber's master sensed this as he then said. "Why are you worrying about such a thing, even I am unable to see the inside of my body. It is a common thing among us True Lifeforms." He said. His words not only shocked Saber but also Leviathan.

"And about your emotions, did you expect to be a doll after getting rid of your mortal sins. You simply gain control over them at a higher level, and would not find yourself doing absolutely stupid things." He said as he once more shocked Saber.

"You haven't even let me explain to you what a True Lifeform is, yet here you are becoming angry because you do not know anything about your own body." He said before he then continued.

"Well, at your current level, I do not see much changes happening besides the full control over your body, and even though that may not sound like much though, it is something that you mortals understand very little about." He said as he then did something that neither Saber nor Leviathan saw coming.

Swoosh!

Saber's master sent an incredibly quick punch toward the face of Saber, and even though Saber was unsure if it would hit, he intended to dodge. But, the speed at which the punch came, shocked him greatly as he had no time to evade it.

Yet, somehow, Saber found that the punch had missed his face as Saber realized that he did what he had first intended to which was to tilt his head to the right.

"Instantaneous Reaction."

Saber's master calmly said with a smile plastered on his face. And even though there was still a golden bright light that covered his face at all times, inside of Saber's domain, Saber was able to see his smiling expression.

"The body of any living being is accompanied by limitations. For one to fight, or to even perform basic actions, they must first process their actions and think with their brain. Doing this limits their speed and will hamper their ability to fight effectively.

But, True Lifeforms are different. We do not have a mind nor do we have a body, instead, the thing you are right now is a combination of both mind and body, both your soul and your body have become one.

Similar to how your mind has a thinking process, now, your body also has one...or should I say your mind retains it and your body has also gained it. With this, of course, it is obvious that your speed and body control will improve." Saber's master calmly stated with that same smile on his face.

With a smirk, Saber finally began to understand what was happening to him. His eyes shone brightly as he then listened with interest as his master continued.

"But, this isn't all, otherwise even those of 'that' realm could have been considered True Lifeforms.

This though is just the beginning of the perks of True Lifeforms as with you evolving into one of us, you are immune to things that affect the mind in harmful ways such as mind control and since you technically have no soul, attacks that affect the soul has no effect on you."

When hearing this, Saber felt as if he was finally becoming a total cheat character but, as per usual, Saber's master would never let Saber's arrogance reach an uncontrollable level as he then went on to pour a bucket of cold water on Saber's head.

"But, such things are still useless in front of overwhelming power. For example, even with Instantaneous Reaction, if there is someone who has strength levels higher than yours, then you'll not be able to dodge, and most probably find your head detached from your body.

When that happens, you will realize the biggest shortcoming of us True Lifeforms. It is the only reason why I made the technique that you now know as True Undying Body Art.

The reason is very simple as in we True Lifeforms, once dead, will never be able to be revived. There isn't an afterlife either since when we face death, only total erasure occurs." Saber's master said.

When hearing these cons that come with his evolution into a True Lifeform, Saber began to rethink the idea of becoming a True Lifeform. But, it wasn't as if he ever had a choice into turning one in the first place.

"Hey, don't look so down, don't you have my technique. Look what they needed to do to seal me." Saber's master said. His words caused Saber to calm down since he still did have an extra life.

But, just as the duo and Leviathan were about to continue their conversation...

*BOOM*

An exaggerated explosion occurred that shook the very planet Saber stood on. His face changed as an aura that reeked of ancient evilness washed over his body. He instantly knew that something horrible was happening as his instincts then flared.

*BOOM*

Another explosion then occurred as Saber darted his gaze toward the skies where he then saw what he could only describe as a massive hundred-meter black door decorated with red drawings of winged creatures, skulls, and many humanoids with horns as they bowed toward one humanoid figure with a bone crown on his or her head.

"Oh my, it seems that someone on this planet is dangerously close to the Immortal realms!!!" Saber's master said in alarm. Even he couldn't help but feel shocked at this moment as he did not expect in this backwater world, that there was someone close to 'those' realms.
