A Clash Like No Other (1/2)

"Oh my, it seems that someone on this planet is dangerously close to the Immortal realms!!!" Saber's master said in alarm. Even he couldn't help but feel shocked at this moment as he did not expect in this backwater world, that there was someone close to 'those' realms.

(A Few Moments Ago)

The battle between millions of figures shrouded in black mist and a human army of millions was somehow overshadowed by another battle of merely five beings.

Somewhere over the battlegrounds, and high in the skies, Adrianna and Moon worked in synch and with extraordinary usage of their technical mastery as they fought against a redhead Sword Master of the Sword Art Sect, a bulky dark skin man who used only his fist and was the leader of the Heavenly Body Sect, and lastly, a beautiful pink-haired woman who used a bow as any semi-knowledgeable being would know that she was the leader of the Sky Splitting Sect.

But, while they were in the middle of their battle, all of their expressions froze as an incredibly evil aura washed over their bodies. It was an aura that originated from the very center of this planet as only the leaders of the righteous faction had an idea of what it was.

"N-No...it c-can't be...r-right?"

The stuttering voice of the pink-haired female confused Adrianna as she gazed at Moon who was currently, her only 'comrade' as Moon then said, and with a shaky tone.

"Millions of years ago, the prophecy said our ancestors sealed an Immortal Demon next to the core of this world. The prophecy says that a great disaster would befall this world in 900 years and be related to this being, yet it seems that the timing is wrong!!"

Moon had cold sweat all around her body as soon after.

"Hmm, it seems that you people have awoken me." A calm and somewhat normal-sounding male voice resounded in the ears of the five beings in the sky.

As fear gripped their hearts, they turned around only to see the figure of an aged man who seemed to be in his late forties with long black hair that had some grey.

But, just as they thought that they couldn't feel even more scared.

*BOOM*

An explosion that resounded throughout the whole planet then occurred. The face of the mysterious man contorted into a frown when sensing this as he then gazed at the massive multi-hundred meter black door that appeared a few kilometers away from him.

*BOOM*

Another explosion took place as a minute crack formed on the door, making it possible for the six present in the skies to barely discern what was on the other side. What they saw left them with mental scars that would not leave for the rest of their lives.

They saw what seemed to be an infinite army of red-skinned humanoid lifeforms. Some of them had small bodies, while others had massive bodies. Some had horns on their head while others had goat horns protruding from their eye sockets.

Thankfully, they were all being blocked by an invisible and intangible barrier, otherwise, the six lifeforms floating in the skies knew that only inevitable death awaited them if these monsters were allowed to exit.

"This sure is a troublesome situation, isn't it?!" Suddenly, an evil-sounding voice interrupted the shocking figures floating in the skies, causing them to dart their gaze to behind them, where they saw the figure of Saber.

He adorns a dark grey vest, a long-sleeved black undershirt with a turtleneck, a dark purple sash, with black pants. On his feet was a pair of what we modern-day people call steel tip boots. They were also black.

His figure shocked the only three females who were present, but all for different reasons.

Unlike the pink-haired female who was left dumbstruck by Saber's attractiveness, Moon was instead confused by Saber's appearance as she thought that he had died along with Jayden and the rest of her disciples.

Even though his appearance became even more attractive, Adrianna was still able to perceive who this person was. It was the person who she had been looking for. The person who was on her mind for most of her life since she had met him when she was only sixteen.

"Y-You!!" She shouted in disbelief as she then disappeared from her position and reappeared in front of Saber surprising everyone present. Bringing down her staff toward Saber's face, she meant to send him spiraling down to the ground yet.

*Flick*

Saber flicked her staff causing it to fly out of her grip. The faces of everyone present suddenly turned to that of shock, as even the Immortal Demon felt slightly interested. Moon couldn't believe what she was seeing as Adrianna's mind almost short-circuited.

"Who are you?!"

Saber asked in confusion. Just as he was about to meet a certain Immortal Demon and have an enjoyable fight so that he could quench the thirst of his newly appeared battle junkie side, he was attacked for no apparent reason.

"Wait, I think I know you...!" He said when taking a good look at Adrianna. An Adrianna who was now fuming in rage. But, it wasn't as if she was a fool, so she used a movement technique so that she could escape but...

*Tap*

Saber tapped her shoulder as he appeared behind her, shocking almost everyone present since they were unable to see his movements. Adrianna felt a stifling feeling in her gut as she realized that Saber was in a completely different league compared to her.

"Oh, yes, now I remember. Aren't you the first meal in this world that I enjoyed? Hmm, so you entered the Demonic Cult and were able to become this strong. This shouldn't be possible unless you are also able to eat to get stronger?!"

Saber said as he then squinted his eyes. He cared little about the people present since he had already planned to kill them.

'But the Immortal may prove to be a challenge.' He thought. Thereafter, before anyone could see, Saber sent a chop at Adrianna's neck as he then watched as she fell unconscious.

With her in his embrace, Saber finally shifted his gaze to the other humans present, or more precisely, the Immortal creature who he learned from his master to be the cause of the door in the skies.

"You are an interesting fellow." The Immortal said.

"And you...you should stop acting all high and mighty since you aren't even in the Immortal realms." Saber said, pouring cold water on the man's head.

With a vein popping out of his forehead, he then said. "You better know your place little brat, or else I'll have no other choice but to send that pride up your ass!!"

Hearing this, Saber then replied. "Hohoho, oh really." As soon as he said that, he mysteriously appeared in front of the immortal. One can see that an afterimage of him still floating in his previous location with Adrianna in his embrace had now started to fade.

*Puchi*

Soon after, while Saber gazed into the dark red eyes of the man who claims to be an Immortal, the heads of Moon, and the righteous side leaders were detached from their bodies!

If one looked closely, one will be able to see a dark purple aura in the form of a blade swirled around Saber's right hand.

As the bodies of the four fell to the battlefield, their bodies withered as Saber felt his strength increase...slightly.
