Abercio!

Zay teared up, unable to bear the sight of the man walking straight towards her. Zay looked away with a staggered body, reflexively taking a few steps back.

The man with the tall body, white skin, and sad eyes asked Zay condescendingly, "You're called Boss?"

Abercio bastard! This is impossible!

Zay said with all her strength to hold back the tears from spilling out again. Every organ in her body rejected the man who changed the course of her life. She couldn't believe would meet Abercio after telling Vern about her dark past last night.

"Where's my cousin?" asked Roderick. The man whose full name is Abercio Roderick Vlodostok was Jack's first son. He is the successor to the company that Jack fought for.

The mole on the temple with Roderick's sardonic smile brought back memories of Mazaya 10 years ago when they were both in the same apartment, but Roderick's apartment. Zay was terrified while hugging her own body while pleading, "Cio, please don't do this. I promise I won't ignore you anymore."

"Too late! I'm already very angry and now accept the consequences of your arrogance! Ha ha!" Roderick ignored Zay's request, he continued forward while unbuttoning his school uniform.

"I'm sorry, Cio. Let me go, I'll do everything you say as long as you don't have that despicable relationship with me." The once feminine Zay could not resist Roderick. She was frightened, stepped back to find a way out, but stopped when her heel hit the wall of the room.

Roderick didn't flinch, on the contrary, he was happy to have Mazaya cornered. He pulls Zay's long hair, kisses her brutally and tragically culminated in doing disgusting things that left bitter wounds for Mazaya.

"Hey, why is your Boss still looking at me like that? Hurry up and get him out of my way!" Roderick turned to the side to give orders to Zay's men.

"Yes, young master," replied the bald man. He and his two companions approached the terrified Zay.

The bald man could sense Zay's fear. He patted Zay's arm carefully, saying softly, "Boss, come to your senses. Please, get out of here."

Suddenly the actions of the bald men brought Zay's consciousness back to the current situation. Zay who uncharacteristically fell to the floor knee-first.

"Boss! Are you alright?" the stifled exclamations of the Zay's men who were astonished to see Zay weakened, frightened and even kneeling before in front of everyone.

Roderick glanced at Zay who he thought was a bad boss, he wanted to know more about Zay. Not until that wish was realized, Roderick's attention was distracted by the sound of Vern's protest.

"Hey ... hey! Don't make noise in my apartment! Just go home!"

"Ohh, my dear older cousin. How are you?" greeted Roderick walking towards Vern with a smile as wide as his open arms. He hoped to get a warm hug from his older cousin.

"Don't be so friendly after taking my position, we're enemies," Vern replied indifferently. He stood up, walking from the opposite direction towards Roderick. Vern continued to walk past his cousin and stopped right beside Zay.

Roderick frowned, halting to steps while lowering hands as well as his lips that were forced to smile. He turned around to find out what Vern was doing.

"What's wrong with her? Is she hurt?" Vern asked Zay's men, as it was impossible to ask her directly. He was worried looking at the helpless Zay.

"Who are you referring to, sir?" The bald man and the other bodyguards were at a loss for an answer when there were only men in the room.

Vern, who had been staring at Zay, gasped in surprise. He turned to the bald bodyguard and corrected his question, "Is he okay?"

"We don't know either, sir. But, judging from his appearance, the boss seems to be under mental stress," the bald man replied without thinking about Vern's mention of the word "She".

Zay controlled herself, she got up from where she was kneeling wiping away the few tears that had flowed.

No, I can't look weak this time. Said Zay's heart whipped, she took a deep breath with her hands clenched into fists.

"Tell me, do you need help?" Vern asked worriedly.

Vern didn't get an answer. His eyes followed Zay's movements and drastic change in demeanor. They all didn't take their eyes off Zay who was walking quickly towards Roderick.

Before Roderick had time to turn his body perfectly, he was surprised to see Zay approaching and slapping him. The stinging heat from Zay's punch was not worth the insult he received. "Asshole!"

"Oh my, Boss!" the bald man screamed, representing the shock of the other members.

Vern was stunned by Zay's unpredictable behavior. He remembers the first meeting with Zay was not spared with physical violence. Vern muttered, "Is that how you greet people?"

"Argghh, you lowly worker! Dare to hit me, want to die!" snarled Roderick as he attacked with a straight fist towards Zay's face.

However, Roderick's movements were outpaced by Zay who was well-trained. So that Zay could easily parry Roderick's punches, she retaliated with a punch to the stomach.

"Aughhh!" groaned Roderick bent over. He held his stomach while cursing in annoyance, "Assholes all of you, why are you silent? Quickly protect me!"

The Vlodostok family guards were dumbfounded, they all stumbled and ran towards Zay and Roderick. The bald bodyguard managed to block Zay's kick, he held her leg with the help of two other colleagues.

"Arggh! Let go of me! I'm not going to let that asshole live in peace!" Zay rebelled, she didn't let go of the sharp eyes vengeful towards Roderick.

"Hey, help me hold the boss!" exclaimed the bald bodyguard who was overwhelmed by Zay's strength. It wasn't long before three of his colleagues came to help.

"Don't let that bastard go free! Tie him up and lock him in a room until I can get my revenge!" Roderick ordered angrily. His blood was boiling with his breathing going up and down, not to mention the pain from the fist attack he couldn't bear.

"Abercio! You're the one who has to die this time! Argghh! Let go of me!" Zay went crazy, she continued to rebel and try to break free from the grip of her men. However, Zay's efforts failed when outnumbered.

Zay continued to scream, kick, and swear as she had her body forcibly dragged into Vern's room by her own men.

"Abercio? I think I've heard this name before," muttered Vern didn't move from where he was, deep in thought, digging through his memory.

Would Vern be able to remember Zay's swearing when he mentioned Roderick's first name? Moreover, Vern was very drunk that night.

"Vern! Hurry ... hurry up and call an ambulance!" shouted Roderick enduring the pain, he was still bent over clutching his abdomen which was in tremendous pain.

"Ahh, okay," replied Vern whose concentration was broken, he searched for his cell phone in all his shirt and pants pockets to fulfill Roderick's order.

An hour after the riot in Vern's apartment, the apartment was quite as Vern ignored Zay's cries of rebellion. He was still contemplating all the events that passed so quickly. He sat up and sighed, "Huh, the more I think about it, the more dizzy I get. Should I take a shower first?"

Vern got up from his seat, he was on the phone with someone and asked for an empty apartment right next to his. Vern did that because he couldn't stand Zay's screaming. He lowered the phone from his ear, not a minute before the call was hung up, another call came in.

"Damn, why is uncle Jack calling me? Is it not enough to embarrass me at the head office?" Vern grumbled, he let the cell phone ring without an answer. Vern took a step, not even one step, his cell phone rang again.

"Hah! That petty old man again! Never mind, for now I don't want to hear his orders at all," Vern exhaled harshly, even deliberately turning off the his cell phone on purpose.

Another cell phone ringing was heard from the back of the room, not long afterwards the door opened as a bald bodyguard approached Vern.

"Mr. Vern, Mr. Jack would like to speak with you. It's important!"
