Ultron and the Avengers

Time continued passing and soon it had been 9 months since the Sokovia incident.

Today, Viktor drove to the New Avengers Building.

Steve came out to welcome him and Viktor got out of the car. He took off his sunglasses and said "How's it going, Steve?" Steve smiled and shook his hand, replying "Not too bad, learning something new everyday."

Viktor chuckled and said to the car "Come on, get out. Nobody's gonna hurt you." Steve looked over as a young man got out of the car.

He was wearing normal clothes but half of his arms were silver with orange lines. He was pretty handsome and looked to be around 20-23 years old with circular markings next to his mouth on both sides, along with silver hair.

Who else but Ultron?

He was wearing a silver t-shirt and black jeans with normal sneakers.

He looked at the building before slowly walking over and standing next to Viktor. Steve smiled and said "Steve Rogers, nice to meet you…" Ultron looked at him and said blankly, "We've met."

Steve was confused and Viktor hung his sunglasses on his shirt. He was dressed in a black button up with blue jeans and sneakers. His sleeves were rolled up and his hair was half tied up. He smiled "Let's talk inside, Cap. By the way, how about introducing me to the new Avengers?"

Steve smiled helplessly, saying "Only you, Vik. Come, I'll show you around." before turning around and walking inside.

Viktor looked at Ultron and winked before following Steve with a smile. Ultron followed behind him with his hands at his sides.

Steve showed Viktor and Ultron around the facilities before bringing them to a lounge room, calling the rest.

Viktor sat down, asking "How's the dating scene, Steve? Find anyone yet?" Steve sighed and replied "You know me… I don't think I'll get to live that kind of life." Viktor shook his head and replied "Don't say that, you can still have a family. Don't be like Bruce, that guy left his girlfriend…"

He clicked his tongue and added "How about that girl…" he snapped his fingers and frowned "Sherry, Shelly…" Steve said "Sharon?" Viktor snapped and said "Yes. Sharon Carter, her! She's nice, I think you have a shot, she's also very beautiful."

Steve asked strangely "Don't you think that's a little weird? Peggy's niece…" Viktor replied "Hey, at least her last name is Carter…"

The rest of the new Avengers walked in.

Natasha smiled "Viktor! How's the little demon?" Viktor smiled happily, "Great! She can even speak sentences now… only 24 months old, can you believe it? She tells me that she wants to eat cupcakes now, I don't even know where she learned that…"

Natasha sat down and giggled "Watch out for a little fatty in the future… Awe~ she would be such a cute fatty~" Viktor rubbed his forehead and Vision floated in the room, staring at Ultron with an unsure expression.

Ultron turned to look at Vision and said "Vision." Vision said hesitantly "Ultron?"

The room instantly cooled to a freezing temperature.

Viktor smiled happily and said "You ruined the surprise."

Steve jumped up and everyone else looked alert as Steve frowned badly "What's the meaning of this, Vik?!" Viktor rolled his eyes and said "Can you relax? It's fine. Ultron won't do anything, right?"

Ultron nodded and said "Although, I'd like to beat you to a pulp, Rogers…" Steve said "I hope this is a joke!" Vision floated around Ultron and said in shock "You… You're-" Ultron nodded "Human."

Everyone's eyes widened as they stared at Ultron in shock.

Viktor snapped his fingers and said "Upgraded his computation matrix before transplanting his consciousness into a created body. The integration was 100% successful. Ultron is officially a human being. Though…"

Ultron floated in the air and pulled the chair to him, sitting on it in the air before floating down.

Steve frowned and turned to Viktor, saying "What are you doing?! Do you know what this guy-" Viktor said seriously "Cap, everyone has a dirty past, okay? Ultron has changed. I watched it with my own eyes, he was born 7 months ago. I've been teaching him and watching him for 7 months straight."

Ultron added "Even when I was alone and not under surveillance." Viktor grinned and said "Hey, you found out." Ultron replied "Only a month ago." Viktor waved and turned to Steve saying seriously "I hope you don't hold it against him, essentially he's a different person. Kinda like a certain soldier I heard of…"

Viktor snapped his fingers and said "What's his name… Oh, right. Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier."

Steve said in defense, "That's different!" Viktor questioned him "How is it different? Because he's your friend? Well, Ultron is my friend. How about now?" Steve was silent and Viktor smiled slightly "The double standard doesn't work for you, Cap. I'm being honest, here. Unless Ultron is the greatest spy and actor in the entire galaxy, he has really changed."

Steve said questioningly "How do you know that he isn't?" Viktor almost collapsed and said "If he turns on humanity, I'll kill myself right in front of you, how about that?" Ultron snapped his head in Viktor's direction, his mouth slightly open in surprise.

Steve frowned, "Are you serious?" Viktor nodded, "As a heart attack."

Natasha looked at Ultron and said "You hurt… a lot." Ultron looked at them all and said "Likewise." Vision touched Ultron's arms and said "It's incredible! You… You're completely flesh and blood! Although…"

Viktor explained "His skeleton was fused with Vibranium. His flesh and blood were also integrated with traces of Vibranium." he touched the Silver parts and said "Unfortunately, there was a slight over saturation and this occurred. This is a result of his body feeding his most used parts the rest of the Vibranium. Which means his silver parts are just as tough as Cap's shield and the rest of his body is just as tough as Cap himself."

Viktor paused before adding "He's just as human as you all, just enhanced slightly." He made a scissor figure with his fingers and said "I only cut his strings. The rest was Ultron himself."

Steve said seriously "Can I have a word, Vik? Alone?" Viktor nodded and said "Play nice." Ultron nodded and looked at everyone before ignoring them as he turned to Vision, saying "I wanted to talk to you." Vision nodded.

Viktor and Steve went to a separate room.

Steve said "Are you crazy? That guy almost caused a planetary extinction!" Viktor said honestly "I know. But I'm telling you, Cap. He's changed! I watched him treat a dirty little orphan girl with his own hands!"

He turned to the glass wall and swiped on it, showing the room Ultron was in as he added "He still has the flower that little girl gave him! You're not convinced, but I am fucking surprised! He's a completely free person! He asked me to bring him here."

Steve stood next to him and watched Ultron interact with the rest as he said "Why?" Viktor shook his head and said "He wanted to talk to Vision. I don't know why exactly. I think…" he frowned and added "I think he might want to join Vision."

Steve shouted with incredulity, "Join the Avengers!?" Viktor pursed his lips and said "He's a certified Doctor. I taught him myself but he doesn't seem to enjoy it. I can feel that he feels… Dissatisfaction… when treating people…"

Steve asked seriously, "What does that mean?" Viktor scratched his head and said "It means he's not satisfied that he has to treat one person at a time! At least, that's what I felt. He wants to save people, Steve. That's what his entire goal was from the beginning, he was just on the wrong path! Tony doesn't even know he exists."

Viktor paused before adding "He didn't want to see Tony. I don't think it's because he hates him either. I think he's embarrassed. For 7 months I've been guiding him and there hasn't been a single incident. I've been trying to find a way to send him to you, who knew he would send himself."

Steve asked, "Send him to me?" Viktor nodded and said "Emma found a trace of Ultron and locked him in our grid network at home. It was purely an accident that he came to us. Since Emma knows this type of stuff, she contained him and upgraded him before creating a body. It sounds like science fiction, but he is indeed a pure human now."

He cleared his throat, "Well, superhuman, but he can't access the internet through his mind. He can't live forever, he can't escape through the internet. I think he wants to do good and you're the best person I thought of to put him back on track. How about taking him for a few training missions and seeing what the situation is?"

Viktor turned to him and said "He's even calm around my daughter. I trust him. Obviously it's your call in the end but I hope you don't have too much prejudice against him. He didn't actually succeed after all."

Steve watched Ultron calmly talk to everyone without even a hint of aggression before slowly saying "I'll give him a chance… But this is only because of you! He only gets one chance!" Viktor grinned and patted his shoulder, saying "Cap, trust me. You won't regret this. If he messes up, you can send him back to me. Oh… By the way, consider him a Romanoff type."

Steve narrowed his eyes and said "I see." Viktor chuckled "He hasn't been human for long. Maybe Vision can help, but as of right now… He's a bit cold blooded. He's a curious baby, Steve. He needs guidance from a role model."

He patted Steve's shoulder again before leaving the room and returning to Ultron. Steve watched him go and turned to Ultron, muttering "Robots turning human, you'd think I slept for 1000 years…"
