Viktor actually revealed the 'Regeneration Serum' to her, explaining how it worked and the principles behind it, shocking Helen greatly. She looked at him with admiration and said "That's incredible!"
Viktor pursed his lips and said "Not that big of a deal." Helen almost jumped up and slapped him, "What do you mean?! Amputees have been solved! Although Frost and Stark Prosthetics have changed many people's lives, this medicine can regenerate their original bodies!"
Viktor played with the orange tube in his hand, smiling slightly as he replied "And how much do you think this costs, Helen." Helen froze.
Indeed, this was an issue.
Viktor continued "The research data and cost of production alone is 6 digits. To turn a profit, or even universally supply hospitals… They will cost an astronomical sum! Rivaling Vibranium on the Black Market with ease. After all, arms and legs don't grow on trees."
He pursed his lips and joked "They're made in a lab, of course." Helen giggled and looked at Viktor, saying "Have you finished trials?" Viktor nodded and said "100% success rate on 100 Amputees. I've started using it in my clinic, as for distributing, I haven't thought of it for now. This technology is relatively young, the materials are frankly too expensive for the moment."
Helen dug in her little purse, taking out a card, smiling "If you'd like, I'd welcome you to come take a look at our results in Seoul." Viktor took the card and smiled "If I have time, I would love to come."
Helen smiled happily and asked "Can I buy you a drink, Doctor?" Viktor's lips twitched and he seemed to be in a predicament…
He didn't say he had a wife, right?
Oops…
Luckily, Tony walked over and said "Hey! Isn't this my personal surgeon? Why didn't you tell me you were here pal?" He turned to Helen and chuckled, "I'll borrow him for a bit." Helen smiled and nodded.
Viktor left with Tony and whispered "You saved me just now. She invited me for drinks!" Tony wrapped his arm around Viktor's shoulders as he chuckled "You should lead with 'I have a wife and child at home, don't fall in love with me, thanks.'" Viktor rolled his eyes and retorted "Does that work? Probably nobody would talk to you, right?"
Tony just grinned and brought him to the bar saying "I'm working on something, wanna see it?" as he handed him a drink. Viktor chuckled "What is it? A Peacekeeping AI?" Tony was shocked and said "How did you know?!"
Viktor choked on his drink and coughed, putting down the glass and slapping his chest.
Hey… He forgot Ultron was a thing…
Tony laughed "Are you a psychic? Hahaha~ What a good guess, you're right. I'm onto something big here, Vik. Bigger than Extremis." Viktor wiped his mouth and said "Oh yeah? I can't see how this will blow up in your face…"
Tony said nonchalantly "How can it? I'm a genius! Also, I wanted to talk to you about Extremis…" Viktor talked to him as Tony explained that he did take the injection. He was currently housing his armor in his bones.
He tried to recreate the Endo Sym armor, but didn't have the genetic code of the Symbiotes, so it was shelved.
Viktor was upset but understood, when Symbiotes came down they maybe it would be a possibility!
Then he froze and realized a crucial detail…
If he didn't interfere, wouldn't Tony die?!
No, no. He couldn't let this happen!
Viktor decided to make the Death of Iron Man comic and send it to Tony, hoping Tony would be inspired.
What Viktor was hoping would happen was Tony would mimic the comic and take precautionary methods just in case.
What happened in Death of Iron Man was that Tony died and Iron Heart took over but then Tony was revealed to have backed up his memories and brain into a computer while also creating a clone of himself, so he was resurrected from death.
It was as though he never died at all.
Iron Man comics were booming at the moment because there was a Mandarin saga released. Obviously, it was the comic Mandarin with the 10 rings, not Killian or the fake-real Mandarin of the MCU.
The real Mandarin had 10 rings that gave him 10 different powers. They were all super strong. He was Iron Man's main enemy! That guy just wouldn't die. Even when he was dead, he wasn't dead if you know what I mean.
Tony was amazed as he read the comics. He couldn't imagine the Mandarin actually being like this, wouldn't he be helpless? Although, it had been years since Iron Man comics started, his comic armor was getting more powerful.
His comic version was probably stronger than him!
A certain man in Asia was reading the comics about himself and muttered angrily, saying that this was bullshit in Mandarin…
Tony and Viktor talked for a long time, Viktor also told him about the Extremis he was developing at the moment.
Treating Ugliness…
Making the world beautiful…
Tony was speechless and told Viktor that he had strange goals… But he didn't disagree.
Viktor had a plan to dump a harmless Extremis into water sources and treat Ugliness and Fat people on a worldwide scale.
Tony was shocked and said that he knows that plot, isn't that what his evil version did? Except he charged people for it…
Viktor explained that it wouldn't heal injuries or have any regenerative properties. It was still in its infancy, but the goal was to only make the world more beautiful.
How many people would be more happy?
Probably everyone, right?
After all, who didn't want to be beautiful and slim?
Probably only mentally retarded people, right?
Ah, oh wait, Viktor could treat that too.
So nobody then.
Tony told him to hold his horses and calm down for a bit, if there were any accidents, it would be catastrophic! Viktor agreed with him and said that it was only a thought with a plan, not that it was a dream…
He wasn't so crazy to actually carry out the plan, of course, if he could thoroughly confirm that it was 100% safe and perfect, then he might just do it as a service to humanity.
But it wasn't a priority… Though, he could probably take out a page out of Evil Stark's book and create a beauty supplement that enriched the appearance. Like any pharmaceutical company, except his medicine wouldn't be bullshit, they would actually work.
Viktor still desperately needed money…
