I'm Batman (HP Xover)

Just shortly after a 10-year-old Bruce Wayne lost his parents to an armed robber in a dark alleyway, a stray bullet somehow managed to lodge itself in the now orphaned young billionaires chest, killing him shortly after his mother and father. A new Bruce Wayne is born from the ashes of this tragedy and he knows a lot about this new world he’s just entered. Oh, and this is a Harry Potter crossover too. (A/N: I’m back and I’m nervous. It’s been a while since I’ve written and I’m afraid I may be rusty. Hopefully everyone likes this story. Thanks for reading!) If you like my writing, consider supporting on Patreon. "Banned language was used by those two children." The elderly woman in the portrait points toward Harry and Draco.

Following her pointed finger, Professor McGonagall was surprised and unsurprised at the same time. Draco Malfoy, the son of a 'former' death eater, saying banned language in Hogwarts was expected, but Harry Potter doing so is a different story altogether.

Staring down at the two boys with a stern glare, Minerva decides to deal with this after the welcome ceremony.

"We're ready for you now. Follow me!" The serious Professor calls out.

Draco and Harry sighed in relief, most likely thinking they won't be getting in any trouble. Though Harry was the only one of the two that swore to himself to never say that word again. While still being unaware of what it even means.

Forming a line and following McGonagall, the large doors of the Great Hall burst open, and in walks a line of first-year students. All of them in awe of the spectacle that is the Hogwarts Great Hall.

The Great Hall is a large room with four long tables where thousands of students of each house sat and talked amongst each other. The staff table is at the back, where the entire Hogwarts staff sat. A throne-like chair is at the center of the staff table, where the current Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, sat with a welcoming smile on his face.

The room is lit by floating candles spread all across the room, but that wasn't the most eye-catching portion of the room. The ceiling seems to be a perfect replica of the night sky, which soon drew the undivided attention of every new student, including Bruce, who could hear Hermione explaining everything about it to anyone that would listen.

As the line of children made their way to the front of the staff table, Professor McGonagall stops, turns around, and motioned for them to stop.

"Wait here! Now, before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words!" She says loudly to the first years as the Headmaster rises from his seat, instantly quieting the thousands of students with a simple movement.

"I have an important start of term notice I wish to announce, but first let's get the minor ones out of the way, shall we? First years, please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch-" Albus motions towards a ragged old man, with a cat held protectively in his arms."-has asked me to remind you that the 3rd-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to all students. If any student is found in the said corridor, expulsion is a definite possibility."

Hearing this made the majority of students make a mental note to stay away, but some of the more adventurous and naughty children took it as a challenge.

Bruce just so happened to fall in line with the latter group, though he wasn't sure if it was worth the effort.

'Isn't that where the Philosophers Stone is stored?' Bruce remembered from the movies. 'The question is would Dumbledore, the man who survived two Dark Lords, actually keep the Philosophers Stone behind such lax security?'

Bruce doesn't think so.

Which only means that the stone is a fake, yet how does such an accomplished Dark Lord, such as Voldemort, not come to the same conclusion?

Looking over towards the culprit himself, Bruce sees a young man with pale white skin and a turban covering his bald head.

Quirinus Quirrell the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.

Though a bald head isn't all that turban is covering. Wrapped underneath is the wraith of Voldemort, who subjugated Quirrell into servitude and is now fused into the back of his head.

'Poor guy.' Bruce thought, referring to Quirrell, who at least in the beginning was forced into this.

Though Bruce knows that he's most likely been fully brainwashed and indoctrinated by this point, so sadly the anxious and stuttering Quirinus Quirrell is a lost cause.

"Now, into the more important announcement." Headmaster Dumbledore snaps his fingers and a thin book appears in the hands of every student. "The rules and regulations of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry have been updated and will be enforced to the fullest extent possible."

All of the first-year students instantly remembered the portrait that informed the Deputy Headmistress of the rules broken by Harry and Draco just moments ago.

"I expect all of you to read the rules given to you and understand them fully before your first class. I know this may be a surprise to you all, but for too long have we allowed certain transgressions to pass with the excuse of children being children. Hate speech, bullying, pranks, vandalism, stealing, and other misconduct will be policed much more proactively than any other year before this."

Hearing the part about the pranks, a set of ginger-haired twins looked like their entire world was crashing down, but their reaction was nothing compared to the Slytherin table.

They all knew these rule changes were largely targeted toward them. Bullying and hate speech was their forte after all. Each and every entitled pureblood on that table was outraged and ready to lodge complaints but were far too scared of Dumbledore to say anything here.

When their parents spoke of the great Albus Dumbledore, it would be in a hushed, frightened, and hateful tones. Fear is passed down and these children feared the man that fought two dark lords and lived until this very day. Hell, he even killed one of them.

Though, It's safe to say the Slytherin students would owl their parents about this soon enough, which would no doubt flood a head ache of complaints towards Dumbledore.

"If any student is caught breaking these rules, a fitting punishment will be issued by a member of Hogwarts staff. Multiple transgressions within a short timespan will however result in expulsion, which can only be given by myself and Deputy Headmistress McGonagall."

'Wow, the Slytherins are absolutely f*cked..."
