"How is the taste, Osbert?" Val asked, watching the man eat his meat in tiny, tiny bites. "You don't seem like you like it too much."
"I like it. I just ate before." Osbert said once again, smiling at the girl. "I normally eat more than the average person, but I do have a limit still."
"Oh, I understand. You are a big man after all." She said, writing on her clipboard. "Do your species eat a lot in general?"
"I can't say," Osbert said, shrugging. "I have not met other shapeshifters. Except for my mother. I think."
"Shapeshifters are rare, just like Vampires, Werewolves and some others." The golden-haired man said, looking at them closely. "That is because of how dangerous they are. The humans made sure of that."
"Are humans really that scary?" Val asked, looking from the man to Osbert.
"I don't know." He said, honestly not able to tell. "I don't think I have interacted with many of them properly … at all."
