Chapter 13: Entering the forest

Hearing his words the Lion's eyes began to twinkle like stars.

And it swiftly began to shrink, and soon the giant lion shrink itself to couple meters tall, and then a bright light covered the lion and a silhouette of a humanoid figure can be seen in the bright light.

A figure slowly walked forward and appeared in front of Lee.

A man with silvery white hair wearing a golden armor in which a face of a roaring lion was etched could be seen standing in front of Lee's eyes. A majestic and domineering aura exuded from the man's body.

Even though his hair was white, one could not say how old he is from his appearance his eyes were bright and he had a smile on his face as he looked at Lee .

He came next to Lee and ruffled his hair with a smile on his face. Lee could only look up as the man was more than 2 meters tall.

Even if his armor was covering him from his head to toe one could still say that he was quite muscular.

Grandpa ken asked him "Child, what is your name?"

"My name is Lee"

"Good, Good ."

"...".

"Finally i have a grandson, wait for me to get there, you old fogeys" Ken mumbled under his breath and he was planning a strategy to crush all his enemies in a single move.

Him not having any relations always remained as a thorn in his heart, as all those old things were talking about their heirs achievement all year around, Ken had nothing to say, he knew that they were not doing this to antagonize him ,but still he felt sad whenever they talked about their grandsons or granddaughter, So he was searching for someone and he believed in his instincts to choose someone ,

He did not feel any connections to anyone as he was searching around in the outside world, as soon as he saw Lee ,ken's instincts screamed that he was the one, he immediately decided to take Lee as his grandson,

But the main reason was Ken felt really lonely, and he felt that he was missing something and whenever his friends said about their grand children he would always think about how good it will be if he had a grandson or granddaughter , he would always think about spending time with them and bragging about all his deeds, but sadly he was not blessed with something like that.

"Child you have a good potential, I am eager to find out about your first summon "Ken said while ruffling Lee's hair.

After hearing this Lee looked at grandpa ken and asked "The beasts that we get , where does it come from?" this was a piece of information that everyone wished to find out as all the stuffs about this mystic realm remained as a mystery, like who created it? When was it created? Why was it helping humans alone and not beasts? The questions followed endlessly.

"They are born when your soul sea is first created "Grandpa ken said.

Lee nodded and was contemplating about this mystic realm. So that explains that why one's first beast cannot be killed unless the host is dead, Even if the host is dead did the beasts does not truly die,

Lee felt as if he found something earth shattering as it has always been a mystery.

Everyone thought that this is only a trial ground and all this beasts in here are just illusions to test one, even in the tier 5 areas they were all mindless beasts which would pounce immediately as soon as it saw someone.

But looking at Grandpa Ken in front of him his mind began to spin rapidly, who is he? Why is he here?

As if grandpa ken could read his mind "Don't think too much about it, it's too early for you to learn about this stuff, for now do what you should do"

And he continued "Let's go"

Lee:"??"

Grandpa ken tossed Lee on his shoulder. he bent his knees and leaped into the air. A sonic boom could be heard in that place after they left.

Lee could not even shout he grabbed grandpa ken tightly but strangely he could not feel any wind pressure even though they were moving in such a high speed. Lee relaxed slightly.

Grandpa ken said "Zara will be happy to see you"

Lee:"…"

Lee thought to himself "Looks like grandpa ken will bring me to meet his friends". Maybe she is as powerful as grandpa. Lee began to accept ken as his grandpa without even realizing, It was mainly due to the reason that Lee did not have any grandparents and that spot have always been empty in his life, Who does not need doting grandparents.

They soon came to a place that was filled with giant trees. Seeing the size of the trees Lee thought to himself seem like everyone here is huge.

Before entering into the forest grandpa ken stopped and looked solemnly at lee before saying in a low but stern voice "When you see Zara...please….don't call her Grandma"

Hearing this Lee nodded solemnly. Even though he is young he know the unspoken rules and it looked like its an universal law.

Seeing Lee's reaction Grandpa ken's expression relaxed and he nodded in satisfaction,

He smiled and said lets go.

Soon they entered the forests that was filled with giant trees. There were trees that were so big that they can cover an entire city and there were trees that were so tall that even the tallest mountain that he have seen fell short to it.

He looked around in amazement. There were huge wines that were wrapping around the trees and most of the trees had strange fruits hanging in them some of the fruits resembled different beast like appearance and some of the fruits looked like transparent crystals.

Rich aroma spread through the entire forest from these fruit trees. His mouth began to salivate from all this aroma . Lee had been holding himself back with sheer will power alone.

All these fruits he have never read or heard about them were all present here. Seeing his reaction grandpa ken smiled as he know that for a child such as lee this will be quiet alluring and he praised him in his heart for holding him back from pouncing on the tree.
