Human Luna... Human Luna!?

*WARNING!: MATURE CONTENT* ~•~ "I shouldn't have come out of the house, no, I shouldn't have drank too much, I shouldn't have lost my sense of reasoning, that way I wouldn't have gotten lost in the woods. I'm very, very sorry for interrupting this peaceful gathering and I'll love to go back now" she said out loud, directed her words to everyone she could see and most especially to the male in front of her and got ready to run for her dare life. |•| Growling under his breath, which she thought was weird since humans weren't supposed to be growling, and rapidly moving towards her was a man, not just a man but the most ravishing, mouth-watering, and 'down to earth' most handsome man she has ever seen in her life. Handsome was an understatement. His facial features were well defined and his eyes were beautiful lazy eyes with a color she has never seen, a swirl of silver and red, and it was glowing. . "Mate," he said he got to her. She couldn't look anywhere else, not that she had to, she was being pulled by the mate bond which has been used to bind them from up here, and right then is where its work begins, afresh. . 'I am fucked' she thought as she still couldn't look away, she felt like she was trapped in it. After another long second, she looked around to see the people around staring blatantly at her with a little or maybe more contempt than she's seen in years and immediately, she felt she was in trouble and the feeling made the hair on her skin rise and the need for survival surge. ~•~ 'Layla, who lived her entire life as a human, blissfully unaware of the paranormal world around her accidentally but fatefully walked into the territory of a werewolf pack on a full moon night which happened to be the night they were having a ritual, a means of prayer to the Moin Goddess for abundace. |•| Slowly, she'll learn the reason why she is the first 'Human Luna's to ever exist. But fastly, she'll realize that no matter how far she runs from fate, it'll catch it when it's its time. Author's note: Prior to the warning above, readers below the age of 16 are not advised to continue the journey into the Bane's pack. And taking into consideration the fact that young minds tend to disobey this particular warning, I'll love to emphasize it now, this book is a mature book with explicit mature content. Take heed. |•| This books narration is majorly in a first person's POV, but it switchs at times to a third person's POV. There would be indications in the switch, kindly notice it. |•| And also, please note, English is not my first language, so therefore, I can't be perfect in it. Mistakes will always occur, either typos or me not phrasing well but I promise you'll rarely see it as I'll always try my best to edit to perfection. It won't affect the standard of the book. And in such cases where a typo is noticed, kindly do me the favor of pointing it out in the paragraph comment. Thank you. In the hopes that you have your seat belts fastened, I hereby wish you a safe journey into the Bane Land... I hope you have a joy ride!! |•| And in case you wish to connect with me: IG: @aries.dehela

Hypocrite

The shock on their faces as we came face to face was what made me feel most betrayed, it was like they never expected to ever see me again.

"Luna," they said bowing curtly to me, and for the first time in days, hearing that word infuriated me

Not even giving my brain a time to think I busted "Is this supposed to be some suck illusion 'cause if it is, I'd be more than relieved" I said and they gasped

"Lay..." June started trying to move closer to me

"Don't you even dare, seriously, so y'all have been living under the cover of being human all this time whereas you're the wile animal sighted in the forest? I was worried about you June, I saw Rebecca during the night I was taken and I thought she's a bad person and would hurt y'all, how the fuck was I supposed to know you guys we're werewolves uh" I said anger bubbling inside of me

"Now don't be a hypocrite Layla" Rebecca started slightly rolling her eyes.

She has always been the type to speak up first ever since I knew her so I wasn't even surprised

"Hypocrite," I said disdainfully as my hands itched to slap her

"Do you expect us to come to you and say, hi I'm a werewolf and you're on the pack's land the first time you came? You said yourself that you would soon be leaving Cashville to remember" she said and I saw sense in what she said but still, to my cloudy brain, that wasn't enough to justify them

"But still.." I started and June wanted to cut me off but I resisted "Why do you guys have to lie about some stupid wild animal in the north forest and some goddamned firefly that creates illusions, if you people hadn't, I wouldn't be in this situation right now"

"Oh you would, that lie has always been in the town since the very beginning, it's what we use to make sure the humans present in Cashville don't go out during the ritual"

"And you saying you wouldn't have been in this position right now is downright hypocritical since you know even without the tales you would've broken the rule," June said with a hint of respect pin her voice unlike Rebecca

"But..." I started, feeling desperate to put the blame on one of them as I felt so betrayed before Claire cut me off with her hands on my shoulder

Not until then did I realize the attention I've drawn to us, the people watching us with their hawk eyes and whispering amongst themselves.

I couldn't help the outbursts that flew out of my mouth next

"Holy fuck people! What don't you understand by mind your own motherfucking business, must you be this frustrating! One more side glance from y'all and I promise I'll claw put your fucking eye!" I busted wanting to continue before Scarlett's hands covered my mouth shutting me

But I didn't stop there I fought hard against her and with faces of horror, the bystanders returned back to their previous activities

Seeing that I calmed down, Scarlett removed her hands while mine hitched to hit something, her face to be precise

"I'm sorry Luna, the kids," she said bowing and I couldn't help but feel like hitting her hard for giving me such a flimsy excuse.

Subduing my anger I faced June and Rebecca who were kneeling and bowing their heads in respect, and allow me to say the sight feels so good and confusing at the same time

"We are so sorry for being rude Luna, we were just trying to make you see our point, we couldn't help it, we can't go around telling people our true identity as it may be jeopardizing to our pack, we hope you can forgive us," June said very apologetically and I remembered the days when I was in Cashville, how she had been my friend and how we had bonded over a short period of time, how things had turned out now compared to how they were previously

"How many more werewolves are in Cashville?" I asked

"Cashville is an extension of Bane Pack and it has over 95% werewolf population," Rebecca said and my jaw dropped

"Is this you telling me almost everyone I met in Cashville are werewolves" I questioned

"Yes my Luna" June replied with smile lines on her face

"Oh my God" I saw covering my mouth from shock

"Layla, you know you're being so absurd right now right?" Claire said and I faced her, she was looking slightly frustrated and I don't know why

"Care to explain?" I asked rolling my eyes

"Oh I will, but not here," she said "Elisa, Margaret, you both are dismissed as of now but make sure you come to see me in my office this evening," she said and I looked around trying to find the people she's talking to and I didn't, not until I saw June and Rebecca standing up from their knees and saying 'Yes Alpha' before I know they were the one's she just called those names

"Are you kidding me!" I exclaimed further

"Layla, let's get back to the pack house shall we," Claire said and I couldn't help but feel like a child who's about to get reprimanded for her bad behavior.

"Don't gimme that face" I said

"Just let's go," she said in a low voice as if it's a warning and Scarlett shoved me forward

Getting outside the training grounds, I saw that a Jeep was waiting for us and as we all climbed inside, I couldn't help but feel bad and betrayed.

Short and rocky

So this is the most actual start of Layla's life as a Human Luna.

From here on, she'll learn about her do's and don'ts and learn to behave like a proper Luna.

From here on, her intelligence would be tested, so is her patience as she is very bad at anger management

She'll learn to face good and bad, hatred and love, and also learn to draw people to her side because has she has enemies on the outside, so she has on the insides, after all, not everyone wants a Human Luna.

*Exhales*

It's not easy being a moon goddess honestly, but I hope I've been trying my best

Thanks for reading and showing me love

To all ye single ones, your mate shall find you one day, or maybe you shall find your mate

Other ways

Ciao

*bows and flies away*
