ELLA POV

It was a very sunny morning, after I was done with my chores, which is running some errand for my mother, it's just me and my mom, my father died before I was born, he was a great warrior in our pack, things have been hard on her ever since she lost her mate, you know lossing a mate is not easy for a werewolf like us.

We hardly eat nor drink, things is hard for us, and the late king did not care about us, being the family of a great warrior, I was planning to go to the palace to start working so that we can relay on something.

After I was done with my chores, I saw my mother laying down on a mat sleeping, we live in a very small hut that hardly contain us, with leakage roof when it rain our hut is will be full of water, but we live like that.

I saw are sleeping peacefully on the mat, in order not to disturb her, i decide to take a walk it's been days since I take a walk, I would have loved to run into the wood but I have no order cloth than the one am wearing, if i change into my wolf it's gonna rip off and I don't want that so I walk to the lake which is a bit far from home.

I love the lake because it's a quiet place to be, the beautiful flowers and plants, the cold but comfortable water to play with, I just love coming here.

I was sitting down quietly on the floor playing with sand, when my eyes sight something at the edge of the water, I don't know what it is, in order to take a look I stand up from where am sitting and walk toward the something i saw.

On getting there I realized it's a girl who got drown, Infront of me I saw a fragile being, her deep brown hair covering her face, her skin is very whitish like she has been in water for days now, there her bruises all over her body, like she suffer from a deadly beast before getting here.

"She needs our help " my wolf said to me to me a bit scared

I lower down over the girl body to observe her, i look at her body to check whether she is dead or alive, then I saw I chest rising and falling slowly.

"She's alive!!" I alert my wolf, who think she is dead

I drag her body out of the water to a dey place, then I realized her cloth has turn, half of her breast his showing and her thighs is showing, she is half naked, she should be happy that am the first person that saw here, if it's the order way round it will be bad.

"I have to take her home, before anyone arrive here" I said to my wolf, bit my house is a bit far from here and i can't carry her around with her half naked body

"I think it's time you come out" I said to my wolf who was beyond happy about it

I put the girl at my back and ran from there i switch to my wolf form, i will be home in no time put before i get home I mind link my mother to inform her

MASON POV

Have been thinking a lot lately, my father just pass away a month ago, making me the new Alpha of this park, he never thought me how to rule, despite the fact that we are close.

"You will make a great king, your pack will be the strongest pack of all" I use to remember his words everyday of my life, like am stuck with this words

Every pack use to have Alpha, Luna,Beta and Delta to make a pack stronger, but I only have Beta who is my best friend, I crown him as my Beta the day I was crowned as the pack Alpha.

I need to put all my thoughts aside and find a way to make the pack stronger, they are wars coming up in the future which am sure of.

My pack and the ultimate pack are enemies, rumours said it all that my father (the late Alpha) and ultimate pack (the late Alpha as well) were childhood friends, something happened the day my father was crowned as the Alpha, which make them start hating eachother, which I have no idea of.

The ultimate pack Alpha died two years before my before, which means his son has been ruling before me and he is doing well, but my pack his two times stronger than his pack due to my father hard work which I have to keep improving.

While I was thinking about my pack, I mind link my royal guard to come to my chamber, with all this thought on my mind how will I have time to find my mate, it's been two years now since I turn 18and am not trying to find her or to know her, I just want to be alone, I can't be thinking about my pack and be thinking about her and the kids, when it's time for us to meet we will meet, my door open slightly bringing me back to reality.

"You called for me Alpha" he said when he fully enter

" Did you have any news about the rogue that broke into the pack through the wood"I asked him using my Alpha tone which everyone fear.

"No Alpha but we are on it before tonight we will have something" he assured me which I just nod then dismiss him.

I have to start planning the moon festival coming up.
