HP: The Secret Heir.

People say that pity the living not the dead. I think that is true. I believed when we die that is it you are dead there is no afterlife, no one is sitting on a throne to judge your actions. You are just dead. Well, it seems that I was wrong.

I open my eyes and I was shocked to my core when I saw I was inside the body of a child. I looked around and I saw I was in a small room with a tiny bed the kind in which you can fall of if you changed sides. I was laying on the bed wondering who I am? Who this child is?

I got up and saw that there was a small window the wallpaper was dull cream. There was a small desk with a letter on top of it I got up from my bed and walked towards the table. I felt uncomfortable walking in this body it felt like that there was a disconnect between the body and the mind.

I picked up the letter and opened the letter and the contents of the letter shocked me to my core.

"To, Mr Jonathan.

In-room 15 A

Beeston Orphanage, Nottinghamshire

Dear Mr Jhonathan,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Students shall be required to report to the chamber of Reception upon arrival the dates for which shall be duly advised.

We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the new generation of Hogwarts Heritage.

Professor McGonagall.

date:- 4 July 1991."

As I read the contents of the letter I was shocked to my core because if this is real then it means that I am in a fictional world that is real and something else was also odd I didn't have a last name on the letter, everyone who gets the letter has a last name why is it that I don't?

I looked around the room trying to find something that belonged to this body and found a suitcase and in it was some of the clothes of children and a mirror and a ring which was a black pearl and it had some engravings on it. I took the mirror and looked into it I saw a boy who had black hair clear white skin with a thin build. He looked rather skinny.

I then just lied on my bed thinking about why has all of this happened and what would it mean if I just existed in this world how the original story is affected. I then looked at the ring and it had an engraving of a panther.

I then just heard a rumble come from my stomach I got up and went towards the window I looked out the window and took a deep breath and smiled and said out loud "Screw the plot I am going to do what I want!"

I then got some paper and a pen and tried to remember the story to the best of my abilities but I was missing some details and there is no saying that it will be the same as books or movies.

And because I existed some events may never even happen. I decided to use my power of knowledge so that I can become the most powerful wizard that anyone has ever seen and I don't just mean in magical prowess, I mean politically as well. I will use any tactic necessary to gain more power. I will not bow down to anyone.

A few days later McGonagal came to talk about me going to school. Matron came to get me "John you have a visitor."

"I am coming Matron."

I went down the hall and saw McGonagall she was wearing her iconic outfit she was sitting on the sofa and was drinking tea. She looked like Maggie Smith.

She saw me and got up from her seat and said " Mr Jonathan it's very nice to meet you. My name is Minerva McGonagall." She looked a lot happy to see me as if she knew who I was.

I looked at her and smiled and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you and I assume you were the one who sent me the letter?"

She smiled and said, "Yes, I believe you have your doubts about the content of the letter?" she looked very happy.

We then sat down and I said, "Yes, I am as anyone would be if you tell them if magic exists."

She then said, "Then perhaps an example may be needed to prove my claim?"

I smiled and said "What are you going to do? Make a rabbit appear out of your hat?"

She didn't say anything she just smiled and took out her wand and placed a coin on the palm of her hand and turned it into a butterfly and I just looked at it in amazement this was literal magic she looks at me and says in a very cocky manner "I believe that this should be enough proof".

I was shocked but then I nodded and said, "It was amazing, how did you do that and can I do that?"

She said, "You wizards such as yourself will learn to do many more things at Hogwarts."

As I heard that I wore a sad expression and she looked at me and asked: "What is wrong boy?"

I said in a low tone "I want to join your school but I don't have any money."

She looks at me and smiled and said, "You won't have to worry about it your education will be taken care of, by the ministry."

I looked at her and smiled and said, "Really I will be able to join?"

She then explained how the magical world works about the statue of secrecy and all that. after she explained everything I look at her and say "I will gladly join Hogwarts and I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity."

She looks at me and said, "I will be back in a few days and I will take you shopping for your study materials and all the things you will require."

She then moved closer to me and kissed me on my forehead and patted my head and went away. And I came to the conclusion that either she knows me or she is trying to cheer up an Orphan.

After having the conversation I went upstairs and looked at the ring I have been observing the ring for a few days and to my knowledge it might be an heir ring but to which house does it belong. I will have more answers after I go to Gringotts.
