Chapter 46: Investigation

Hagrid quickly arrived at Headmaster Dumbledore's office door.

"Sherbet Lemon"

Rushing to the door, Hagrid spoke the password, and the bronze statue of a beast glanced at him before opening the door.

At this time, Dumbledore was not resting. He was leaning over his desk, holding a pen, and replying to a letter.

Seeing Hagrid enter in a hurry, his face still panicking, Dumbledore put down his pen and asked, "What's wrong, Hagrid?"

Hagrid quickly explained what had happened in the Forbidden Forest, and Dumbledore's face became serious.

"Lead the way, Hagrid."

The two quickly headed towards the location where Arthur had fought earlier. When they came to the place, Professor Dumbledore frowned as he looked at the burned and broken trees.

"Is this where Mr.Gaunt and the person fought just now?"

"Yes, Professor."

Dumbledore thought for a moment and pulled out a wand that was slightly longer than the average wand and made up of several parts.

"Reveal the past," he said, pointing the wand at the scene.

The scene on the empty ground quickly reversed until Arthur appeared, and then it slowly stopped. However, the person was still quite blurry, and Arthur himself might not even recognize himself in the scene.

This spell was similar to time travel, but not as powerful, only capable of reconstructing some of the spells used based on magical fluctuations in the current scene.

However, Professor Dumbledore's knowledge of magic was so advanced that he was able to reconstruct the blurry person even beyond the limit of this spell.

But when they saw two straight Avada Kedavra being fired at Arthur by a person in a black robe, Hagrid turned pale, and even Dumbledore's face became more serious.

After watching the battle, Professor Dumbledore didn't say anything, he just stood there quietly.

After a long silence, he spoke up.

"Sorry, Hagrid, I can't really determine this person's identity. All I can say is that he's related to You-Know-Who."

"You can go back now, I still have some things to think about here."

Hearing the name "You-Know-Who," Hagrid trembled and quickly followed Dumbledore's orders to leave.

Meanwhile, Dumbledore stood there, thinking about the battle scene he had just seen.

"Tom, I never thought you would end up like this..."

Muttering to himself, he began to think about Arthur's performance.

He knew that Arthur was a genius, but mastering combat transfiguration in the first year and having a phoenix guardian that could withstand the Killing Curse were things that many wizards couldn't achieve in their lifetime.

Even Voldemort in his first year he, was not good as Arthur. Although Arthur's normal behavior was nothing like a dark lord.

This fragile wizarding world could not fight a third dark lord.

Thinking of this, Dumbledore secretly decided to pay more attention to Arthur in the future.

He waved his wand and several trees grew from the ground, and clumps of green grass appeared on the ground. Soon, this ruined ground was restored to life. Everything looked as if nothing had happened.

He hadn't had a chance to tell Cho about it yet, so he decided to bring her together in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, Arthur, Cho, and Hermione walked side by side.

The three of them headed towards the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, and there was silence along the way.

A strange atmosphere spread between the three of them.

Arthur wanted to return this morning and choke himself for agreeing to come here. 'Why did he agree to this? Was it helpful to be lazy and come together?'

Feeling Celestia's affection, Arthur smiled and stroked her hair.

Meanwhile, Cho and Hermione had been staring at them, watching the divine unicorn standing beside them.

The two girls couldn't help but put aside their cold war and asked to touch the unicorn together.
