47 Chapter 47: Experiments

Arthur saw the looks in the two girls' eyes and smiled to himself. He didn't expect this lovely surprise. He hoped that through Celestia, he could help ease the tension between the two girls.

He waved his hand and gestured for the two girls to come closer.

"Celestia, these are my good friends. Can you go to them?"

As he stroked Celestia's unicorn horn, he asked for her opinion.

The unicorn's horn had the ability to sense good and evil, and she clearly sensed that the two girls had no ill intentions towards her. She nodded gently.

Her deep blue eyes looked at the two girls like a clear lake. The two girls were both smitten and slowly walked forward. Cho spoke in the softest tone.

"Celestia, may I touch you?" Cho asked, seeing the look in the two girls' eyes and feeling happy with the unexpected surprise.

After hesitating for a moment, the unicorn nodded.

Cho then approached the unicorn and placed her hand gently on its back, her face showing excitement and joy. Hermione looked at her with jealousy, too embarrassed to ask for a turn.

Arthur noticed Hermione's embarrassment and encouraged her to try, saying, "It's okay, Hermione, you can try too."

Hearing Arthur's words, Hermione followed Cho's lead and began to stroke the unicorn.

From then on, the two girls and Celestia became familiar and played together in the grassy field, easing the tension between them.

Arthur was satisfied with the result, thinking that Celestia was indeed his lucky star and had helped him a lot today.

As the day turned to night, Cho and Hermione bid farewell to Celestia, reluctantly leaving the unicorn behind as they returned to the hall.

...

Two months passed in the blink of an eye, and the final exams were approaching, while Arthur's alchemy had hit difficulties.

On this night, Arthur lay on his bed with his hands behind his head, frowning and staring at the ceiling.

'No, the space in the dormitory is not enough, and if there's any noise, it's also easy to be discovered.'

Arthur thought about it as his alchemy experiment was already in the final stage.

Arthur's alchemy experiment had already reached the final stage, but two explosions had happened before. Although Arthur had relied on his quick reaction to suppress the sound, it was still somewhat dangerous.

Arthur couldn't come up with a good solution.

Suddenly, a bright idea flashed through his mind.

'Ah, the Room of Requirement. How could he forget such a treasure?'

Arthur slapped his head in regret.

Without hesitation, he cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself and arrived on the eighth floor.

Then he was dumbfounded.

He only remembered that the Room of Requirement was on the eighth floor, but he didn't know exactly where it was. Luckily, he remembered the entrance condition and could try slowly.

So, he tried one wall after another.

Finally, he succeeded on the wall opposite a tapestry.

"I need a room for conducting alchemy experiments," he silently repeated in his mind for the last time.

When he finished the last words, a door suddenly appeared on the wall, and Arthur knew that this was the Room of Requirement.

He pushed open the door and walked in. The big room had a long experimental table in the center, which was filled with different tools.

Seeing this scene, Arthur also felt amazed.

He couldn't figure out the direction of this room, but it certainly involved some magic of mind manipulation and spatial displacement.

Without thinking too much about it, Arthur opened his extension charm box and took out different materials and tools.

Arthur needed to create some assistants for his magical research, which he called "tool people." These tool people didn't need to have strong abilities, they just needed to be able to help him with some boring work.

Arthur's current problem was how to perfect the intelligent system for these tool people.

He had already crafted their bodies and prepared the energy system, but the biggest problem he faced was how to perfectly implant his knowledge into their processing cores.

Luckily, he had some ideas, one of which involved using the magic of the Garden of Eden.

After casting this spell, each character was independent and would develop differently according to the memories and magic that the caster infused into them.

For example, if Arthur shaped an LSP in his imagination, this LSP would still go on the path of seeking resources and seeking treasure even if Arthur didn't intervene.

Arthur modified this magic spell, transferred some knowledge and memories, and then created characters in the Garden of Eden.

Then, the memories would permanently harden in the tool people's bodies, thus becoming a kind of pseudo-artificial intelligence.

Thinking of this, Arthur began his experiments, continuously creating memory bodies in the Garden of Eden.

This was a very difficult process, even more, difficult than creating a completely new magic spell.

What Arthur had to do was to guarantee that even if he didn't maintain the Garden of Eden, the specific memory bodies he shaped would still be saved.

It was a long process, and Arthur only hoped that he could perfect this spell before the end of the semester.
