Chapter 41: Task

Today was the day when students returned after Christmas break.

Cho was carrying a suitcase and a large box and walking with some friends on the long bridge leading to Hogwarts Castle.

A handsome young man dressed in Hogwarts uniform with a scarf wrapped around his neck was waiting quietly and holding his wand that emitted a warm white light.

It was Arthur.

As soon as Cho saw Arthur, she left her friends behind and ran to him, throwing herself into his arms.

Arthur also opened his arms, hugged her and said gently, "Welcome back, Cho."

"I missed you so much, Arthur," Cho said.

"Why do I feel like you've gained some weight?" he asked.

"Don't worry about it and just keep it. I helped Professor Snape brew a lot of potions, and he gave me a good amount of money. This money is nothing to me," Arthur explained, Professor using Snape as a shield and explaining the source of his Galleons.

"Besides, your name is engraved on it. It wouldn't be easy to get rid of it."

Seeing that Arthur put it that way, Cho had no choice but to accept it. However, she was curious about how Arthur had managed to get his hands on the Nimbus 2001 half a year earlier.

Arthur explained his connection with Professor Flitwick, and Cho's curiosity was finally satisfied.

When Arthur and Cho arrived at the hall, they found a group of young wizards surrounding the scoreboard. Especially Gryffindor students, their expressions were very sad.

But today, after their training session, Professor Snape didn't let Arthur leave. Instead, he gave him a task.
