Chapter 42: The Forbidden Forest

"Are you serious?"

Arthur looked at Professor Snape in surprise, unable to believe what he had just said just now.

Just now, Professor Snape had asked him to accompany Harry and his friends to the Forbidden Forest this night.

"May I ask why?" Arthur asked.

Professor Snape replied with strong sarcasm, "Do you think the big guy can control Potter's mind? And with their relationship, I think Potter is just doing him a favor."

"I need you to help me keep an eye on them and make sure that Potter receives the punishment he deserves."

Arthur didn't Professor believe Snape for a second, but he was more concerned that Hagrid might not take good care of Harry.

"Yes, Professor Snape said there's another student coming," Hagrid replied.

At that moment, Arthur showed up and greeted Harry, and joined the group.

"Harry!"

"Arthur! Is that you? You're the wizard punished by Professor Snape?"

Arthur became stunned. 'If the old bat didn't know how to make excuses, would I be punished even though I'm a good wizard?'

"Yes, I'm going into the Forbidden Forest with you today," Arthur said.

Harry was overjoyed and quickly introduced him to Hagrid. The two of them got to know each other.

Hagrid's rough voice sounded.

"I know you, the most excellent student of Ravenclaw, Arthur, can I call you that? Harry often mentions you."

"No problem," Arthur replied with a smile. Hagrid was a hidden wealthy man, and he had been using a lot of magical materials recently that were difficult to buy on the market.

Maybe he could find some here at Hagrid's place. It would be a good thing to establish a good relationship with him.

After everyone was gathered, they entered the Forbidden Forest. Malfoy was scared, and his face turned pale, repeatedly muttering about how his dad was a board member or something.

Arthur also stepped forward to investigate, and he quickly noticed some hoof prints ahead.

"I know where the unicorn went. Follow me," he said.

With that, Arthur took the lead and followed the clues, leading them to the riverbank where they found another full of silver blood.

Just as they were about to approach and investigate it, there was a rustling in the trees by the riverbank.

Harry and the others snuggled together in fear, while Hagrid nervously aimed his crossbow toward the sound.
