Chapter 19: Party (2)

After leaving the kitchen, Cho was still puzzled.

It wasn't until she walked into an abandoned classroom that she snapped out of it a bit.

"I never imagined that there were so many house-elves in the Hogwarts kitchen," Cho said with a sigh of relief.

Although Cho was already a second-year student, she really didn't know that house elves made their food.

Arthur nodded in agreement. While he already knew that Hogwarts had many house-elves, he was still shocked to see more than a hundred of them working together in the kitchen.

Entering the abandoned classroom, the twins and Lee easily placed the food on the table.

Roast lamb, roast chicken, fried sausages, Cornish pasties, Yorkshire pudding, pumpkin pie, and a bowl of thick soup.

Finally, Lee also opened his bag and took out several bottles of golden drink.

"What is this?"

Cho asked as she looked at the bottles with curiosity.

"Butterbeer!" The twins proudly said it.

"How did you get it? Are they allowed to sell them to minors?"

Lee Jordan shrugged his shoulders.

"I was once working at The Three Broomsticks Inn, and they didn't even get asked for my age, and they sold it to me."

"Pfft!"

Hearing Lee's answer, Cho couldn't help but laugh. 'It's true, it's really hard to tell how old he really is, and he looks older.'

When Arthur saw the big meal on the table, it made him hungry, too.

It was already midnight, and it had been five or six hours since dinner. His stomach was starting to feel a bit hungry.

However, he still reminded Cho to drink less alcohol.

Cho wrinkled her nose and agreed.

"Come on, let's toast to celebrate the new member of our friends."

George pulled up a chair, stood on it with one foot, raised the bottle in his hand, and gestured to everyone.

"Cheers!"

The others also raised their bottles and clinked them together at the same time.

After drinking the butterbeer, Arthur felt the unexpectedly smooth texture and mild alcohol. He looked at Cho, who also seemed to enjoy the taste and took a few more sips.

Arthur quickly stopped her, reminding her that the dinner had just started and she shouldn't get drunk so early.

Although the butterbeer wasn't very strong, it still contained alcohol.

"Arthur, this is really good! I wanted to try it a long time ago, but my parents always said I'm not of legal drinking age yet."

After two cups of butterbeer, Cho's face turned red, and she excitedly talked to Arthur.

George and Fred took the lead, and Arthur smiled and nodded in agreement.

The group stopped talking and focused on eating, sometimes clinking glasses and taking sips of butterbeer.

A small party formed in this abandoned classroom.

Soon, the delicious food on the table was completely eaten, and everyone ate until they were full.

Feeling uncomfortable sitting for so long, Arthur pulled out his wand and used the Summoning Charm to bring over several chairs. He then used a Transfiguration spell to turn them into recliner chairs.

When everyone saw this, their eyes lit up with joy at this unexpected magic. They all sat down quickly in the comfy chairs.

"Ah~" they all let out a satisfied sigh and breathed out a heavy breath.

Beside him, Cho couldn't help but say, "Arthur, your Transfiguration skills are amazing. We haven't even learned how to transform objects this large in our second year."

Fred also gave Arthur a thumbs up, saying, "Even we don't know how to do it. It was definitely the right decision to invite Arthur to our group."

Arthur waved his hand, saying that it wasn't a big deal. He lightly held the hand of the girl next to him and swayed his body on the chair.

For a moment, the only sound in the classroom was the creaking of the rocking chairs.

After a while, Arthur stretched lazily and asked the twins, "Don't you have two other brothers at Hogwarts? How come you didn't invite them this time?"

"You mean Percy and Ron?"

"Don't be ridiculous. If our Prefects found out what we were doing today, we'd definitely receive a Howler from Mum the next day."

Fred's voice sounded with serious tone.

"As for our Ronnie, he's our mom's precious baby. How can we corrupt him?" After saying this, Fred himself laughed, and the others also laughed.

Percy's reputation in Gryffindor wasn't very good, he was always bossing everyone around with his prefect status, which made the Gryffindors dissatisfied.

Later, George and Fred shared some of their "glorious deeds" from the past two years, even revealing some secret passages in Hogwarts.

Arthur and Cho listened carefully, feeling that the Weasley twins had really experienced an exciting school life.

The happy moment was always short-lived, and after a while, everyone began to feel sleepy. They cleaned up the classroom and restored everything to its original state before returning to their common rooms.

As they had drunk quite a bit of butterbeer, Arthur was afraid of them getting caught by Filch. Therefore, the twins and Lee cast a disillusionment charm on themselves, and they left without being noticed.
