Chapter 18: Small Party (1)

Before he knew it, Arthur's first week at Hogwarts had passed.

And his reputation as a genius had slowly spread throughout Hogwarts. He had almost added points to Ravenclaw in every class except for History of Magic.

Professor Binns never added points to students.

Even Professor McGonagall publicly invited Arthur to join her Transfiguration Club.

This was the first time that Professor McGonagall had invited a first-year student to join her Transfiguration Club.

Arthur's reputation spread among the young wizards, and with his incredible appearance, no matter where he went, there would be young witches secretly observing him.

When Arthur noticed their gaze, he quickly blushed and looked away, but there were also brave young witches who not only weren't shy but also boldly threw him a seductive look.

This made Cho jealous.

On Friday afternoon, Arthur and Cho completed their homework in the Ravenclaw common room.

Suddenly, Arthur remembered the invitation from the Weasley twins and looked up at Cho next to him.

"Cho, George, and Fred invited me to meet them tomorrow night at midnight in the fourth-floor hall. Do you want to come?"

"Can I come?"

Although Cho asked this, Arthur could clearly see the expectation in the young witch's eyes.

Arthur replied with confidence and a light laugh, "Of course you can. I don't know why they asked me, but it looks like they invited other people as well."

Cho was overjoyed to receive Arthur's invitation and forgot about her homework, continuously chatting with Arthur about what they might do tomorrow.

Arthur put down his quill and started chatting with Cho, realizing that homework could wait.

As the evening approached midnight on Saturday, Arthur left his room and headed to the common room. When he arrived, Cho was the only one there, holding a copy of "A History of Irish Quidditch" in her hand.

However, her gaze often looked towards the door of the boys' room, clearly not focused on her reading.

Arthur saw that Cho was nervous, so he walked over to her and patted her head gently while smiling.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, let's go now," said Arthur.

Cho replied with a warm smile, putting down her book and following Arthur out of the common room.

Arthur pulled out his wand, held Cho's hand with one hand, and lightly tapped her with the wand in the other, making her whole body become invisible.

Then Arthur tapped himself and also disappeared. Cho felt amazed and waved her other hand, but she couldn't see it.

"What magic is this? It's amazing!" said Cho.

"It's the Disillusionment Charm. If you want to learn it, I can teach you later. For now, just hold my hand tightly and don't let go, or I won't be able to find you," explained Arthur.

If George and Fred were here, they would definitely complain about Arthur. They had to sneak into the Restricted Section to study, but Arthur was willing to teach Cho personally.

The two of them walked holding hands together until they arrived at the right hall on the fourth floor, where they saw the twins standing in a corner with a guy next to them.

Arthur released the Disillusionment Charm and waved to the three of them.

"George! Fred!"

The three turned their heads and saw the two holding hands. One of the twins spoke in a teasing tone.

"As expected of Master Gunter, even when at night you have to bring a beautiful girl with you."

Cho blushed and lowered her head when hearing the teasing, even though many people already knew about her and Arthur's relationship.

She still felt embarrassed when she heard the twins' jokes.

Arthur hit the twins' shoulders with dissatisfaction.

"This is Cho, my girlfriend. Aren't you going to introduce me to this gentleman?"

Arthur noticed the person next to them.

But before the twins could speak, the person introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Lee Jordan. George and Fred's good friends. They've mentioned you, Arthur Gaunt. You did a great job that day. It's been a long time since someone was able to successfully prank them."

After speaking, Lee Jordan gave a thumbs up and smiled widely at Arthur.

Cho covered her mouth and tried hard not to laugh, finding Lee Jordan's personality and behavior cute.

Arthur also couldn't help but smile, but he remembered who Lee Jordan was. He was the Quidditch commentator in the movies who was often reprimanded by Professor McGonagall for being biased toward Gryffindor.

They were Fred and George's friends.

Arthur said, "Just call me Arthur."

After they got to know each other, Arthur asked curiously, "So, what are we doing out so late? And Lee, what's in the bag you're carrying?"

Fred and George exchanged a glance and smiled mysteriously. They nervously leaned over to Arthur's side and said, "We're going to take you to one of the most mysterious places at Hogwarts. Trust us, you'll love it there. As for what's in the bag, you'll find out later."

After speaking, without waiting for Arthur's response, the two of them pulled Lee Jordan and led the way downstairs.

Arthur and Cho looked at each other and could only follow from behind.

Along the way, luck was on their side, and they didn't encounter Filch and his cat. They arrived at the underground level, and that's when he understood that they were going to the kitchen.

As expected, the twins stopped in front of a picture filled with food. One of them walked up to it and lightly scratched a green pear.

The pear twitched and smiled before suddenly tilting out of the picture and twisting into a doorknob. Then, the twin pulled the doorknob, and the door opened.

They walked through the door and entered a large room with a high ceiling. It was almost the same size as the Great Hall, and the stone walls were lined with many clean copper utensils. And over a hundred house elves were walking around.

When the group of Arthur's companions entered, a trained house-elf, who seemed to be the leader, walked over and bowed respectfully.

"Good evening, Mr. Weasley and his companions. My name is Winky, may I assist you with anything?"

The twins must have come here often, because the house-elves already knew a lot about them. "Bring us some dinner, some desserts, and oh, make a pot of tea and a few cups," the twins said casually.
