chapter 32

Liam sucks my neck while his hand moves up my inner thigh. I feel tears falling down my cheeks. "You smell so good," he says. I try to move again, but my body is numb. His fingers play at my entrance and I want to kill him right now, but there's nothing I can do. I have already accepted my fate. He continues to suck my neck, and I feel like throwing up. He sucks my earlobe and removes his hand from my sex and places it on my breast. His hand grabs my breast and I cringe in fear. He pinches my nipple and more tears cascade down my cheekbones. He moves his hand back to my sex and plays with my clit.

"I can't wait to be inside of you." I wish someone could see us. I try to open my mouth to scream or bite him, but my voice comes out as a whisper. My hands are numb, my body is tired like I have wrestled for the first time in my life and need to rest.

I try to scream, but the loud music makes it hard for anyone to hear my pleas. Why is this happening to me again?

"What the fuck do you think you are doing?" a voice booms, and I recognize it as Tay's.

God, I have never been so relieved to hear his voice in my life. Liam gets yanked off of me and small hands grab me before I fall.

"Olivia, are you okay?" Future asks, patting my cheeks to open my eyes.

Punches are thrown, the music has stopped. I can hear whispers, "Jesus! Tay, you are going to kill him!" Andrew's panicking voice says, but more punches are thrown. Bones cracking, I cannot see but by the way, the punches are heard, there's no doubt that some bones broken.

"Tay, he has had enough," Andrew shouts.

"Olivia needs you," Andrew shouts again, and within seconds I'm scooped up into strong arms.

The last thing I remember before blocking is Tay whispering sweet things into my ear.

There's beeping next to me. I try to open my eyes, but they won't open.

Where the hell am I?

There's the sound of footsteps walking in my direction. I try to move again, but my body won't let me.

Am I paralyzed or something?

Oh no!

I'm paralyzed!

Will I ever be able to walk again?

A hard yet soft hand places my hand between theirs.

"Please wake up soon, love," a voice begs.

Only Tay calls me love.

But why is he telling me to wake up soon?

Am I in a coma or something?

Why can't I remember anything?

"Please open those beautiful eyes of yours," Tay begs.

The memories from the club come back to me like a waterfall, and within seconds, the beeping next to me increases. Am I in a hospital, Tay presses something next to me and a door opens?

"What is happening to her?" Tay asks.

"Please Mr. Payne, let us help your wife." a voice says.

"I'm not going anywhere," Tay booms and after that, I fall into a deep sleep.

"Do you think she will wake up?" a voice asks, Andrew. I decide to listen.

"The Doctor said that the drug will take some time to wear off," Tay responds.

"Where is Future?" Tay asks.

"I left her at home. She can't stop blaming herself for what happened to Olivia," Andrew replies.

"What happened to that guy?" Tay asks.

"His real name is Cole; he has been in jail for rape, theft, and murder." Andrew replies.

"I hope he stays there because if I see him again, I will kill him with my bare hands," Tay says with venom in his voice.

I slowly open my eyes, then close them again. I open them again, then blink at the brightness of the room. I take in the room, the walls are white, and the floor is also white.

There's a grey small couch next to my bed. The bed can fit two people; it must be in a private hospital. Andrew and Tay are standing in front of a bay window. Tay's arms are crossed over his chest and Andrew has his hands in his jean's pocket.

Tay is wearing grey jeans and a brown leather jacket. His back is facing me. Andrew is in black jeans and a white dress shirt. I turn to look to my left, there's a big grey long couch that could fit at least five people.

I lift my body and Andrew and Tay turn at the sudden noise.

"Are you okay?"

"Can I get you something?" Tay asks.

"Water," I say. My throat is dry as hell.

I watch as Tay pours water into a glass and hands it to me. I drink, then hand him the glass back.

"How are you feeling?" Tay asks, his eyes pouring into mine. His face is hard but his eyes reflect worry.

"Fine," I say, then we all stay quiet.

"I'm glad you are okay, Olivia." Andrew breaks the silence and I nod at him.

"I'm just going to go outside now and give you guys some privacy," Andrew says and walks out.

Tay waits for Andrew to close the door, then pulls into a hug. My body tenses, and I think he notices and pulls away.

"Sorry," Tay apologized, and I nodded. After everything, I forgot about my past, and somehow it resurfaced. Will I ever be able to forget it at all?

"How are you feeling?" Tay asks, his eyes studying me.

"Fine," I reply and Tay sighs.

"Olivia, please don't do that, I beg you," Tay says, and I just stare at him.

"Don't shut me out," Tay begs. I lay back on the bed.

"I know what happened probably made buried memories resurface, but don't let it get you," Tay begs. I close my eyes and pretend like I'm asleep.

Minutes later, Tay tucks my hair behind my ear. "I won't let you go back to how you were," Tay promises, while stroking my cheekbone.

"Sweet dreams," he says against my skin.

"I...I love you." my breath hitches in my throat.

I know he thinks I'm asleep. But God! What do you do when someone tells you they love you? I don't even know how it is like to love someone; I have never had a boyfriend. How do you act around them, say around them? I hold my breath as Tay walks away from the bed; he opens the door then closes it after. I release a deep breath and watch the ceiling like it will calm my pounding heart.

Do I love him?

It honestly never crossed my mind; how do you know you love someone. My thoughts are interrupted by a door opening; a girl walks in pushing a food trolley. For a moment my heart felt like it was going to pop out of my chest thinking maybe it's Tay.

After she pushes the trolley in front of me, she asks me if I need something and I shake my head no. She walks out, and I eat my food.

I push the trolley away and get off the bed. It's dark outside; I make my way to the bathroom and strip out of the hospital gown and hop in the shower.

A hot shower is what I need right now. I wash my hair and an hour later, I wrap my body with a towel. I dry my hair, brush my teeth, take a clean gown, and put it on.

I walk out and settle myself on the bed. The food trolley is gone. Someone must have taken it. I pull on the covers and close my eyes to sleep.

I watch as the guy pulls up his pants and walks away. Blood is running down my inner thighs, my whole body is sore. I let out a cry, but it came out as a whisper. I try to sit up, but the pain shooting through my body prevents me from moving. I slowly moved my body and an hour later, my back hit a cold wall. I throw my head back and let the tears stream down my cheekbones. I place my hand on my torso and reach for my shorts. I finally find my phone and search for the nearest hospital. After the search, I move up the wall and stand up with my wobbling legs. I try to pull the shorts up my legs, but the pain is unbearable. I let out a cry while holding my stomach and the shorts on my legs. I try again and this time I fall down the concrete floor and cry. I have never in my life experienced such pain. How can people be so cruel, why force yourself on a girl when she doesn't want you? I look at my thighs. They have red marks, and when I try to open them, I fail dismally because of the pain coming from my sex. After hours of trying to pull my pants up, I finally get it and stand up with the help of the wall. I try to walk balancing myself with the wall; I stop everything in five seconds because of the pain. The tears have made my vision blurry; I wipe them off and try to walk. As I take a step, more tears fall. I'm slowly drowning in my own tears. My eyes are sore from crying, and I don't even know if I have more tears left.

"Shh, it's okay. I'm here, it's just a dream," a voice coos. A thumb wipes tears from my cheekbone and pulls me to a hard chest.

"It's okay, love, I'm here. I made a promise that I won't let you go back there again." Tay says, running his hand up and down my arm. I open my eyes and turn my body to face Tay. He rests his forehead against mine, places his arm on my waist, and pulls me closer to him, closing the space between us. I thought he went home and would come back tomorrow.

"Please make his touch go away?" I plead.

"Shh," he wraps his arm around my small frame.

The next morning, I woke up before Tay, much to my surprise again. Tay is an early bird, and me waking up before him is an utter surprise. Our legs are entangled, his face buried in the crook of my neck, and his arms wrapped around my torso. I remove my legs from his without waking him up.

How will I unwrap his arms from my torso without waking him up, I thought?

I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh. I try to get out of his hold, and he plants a kiss on my neck, letting me know he is awake.

"Morning, beautiful," Tay says against my skin, and chills run down my spine.

"Morning," I say. He lifts his head from my neck but keeps his arms wrapped around my torso.

"How are you feeling today?" he asks and removes his right arm from my torso and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Better than yesterday," I tell him, and his lips form a smile.

"I…" he gets cut off by a door opening. Nora walks in, followed by my father. Tay unwraps his arm from my torso and climbs off the bed.

"Oh my God! You scared me," Nora says and crashes me into a bear hug.

"I'm fine," I say; I was close to passing out the way Nora is hugging me.

"Don't ever, ever scare me like that, young lady," Nora says and pulls away. She sits on the bed and tucks my hair behind my ear.

"Who do those eyes belong to?" Nora asks. It's been our thing ever since I was young. I remember asking her the same question years ago when she was sad. It made her smile and ever since then we made it our thing whenever one of us is sad or when something bad happened. I made it up because our eyes share the same color.

"You, they are yours." I half-smile at her, and she caresses my cheekbone.

"Now that is the smile I wanted to see," Nora says, and a door opens, revealing my mother. Oh, No!
