Chapter 4

{Rose}

It's been 3 long cold miserable weeks thankfully Lily's mom is keeping my Dovey girl at her house because it's just gotten way too cold for her to be outside with me. I sneak away every night after doing my chores to spend a little time with my daughter and put her to sleep.

I roll over in my ice-cold shed wishing my dad would be here sometime today to save me and take us away from here, but I know he won't be coming he left me here all alone because he doesn't love me. I make my way inside shower then go make breakfast pancakes, eggs & Sausage. Like always I put some in a zip lock bag and run back out into the cold. The birth giver is home today so I don't gotta do dishes I'm not allowed in once she's awake. So I eat my food get everything together and make my way to lily's so I can spend 2 hours with Dovey before I head to school.

I knock on lily's door her mom answers with my Dovey right by her side HAP EARFAYE MAMA! (Remember she's only 3 ) Yells my baby just making my whole day no matter what happens. Mrs. James welcomes me in as we make our way into the kitchen she hands me a small box saying happy birthday baby girl! I smile & say thanks mom because she is like a real mom to me. Dovey jumps up to the table and eats her eggs while I open the box it's a brand-new iphone13max my mouth drops. She looks at me so sweetly Dovey asks to call you all the time and because you don't have a phone we can't call. I talked it over with Mr. James & we decided that it's time you have a phone we'll pay the bill every month until you're 18.

I jump up and hug her saying thank you Mr. James & Lily walk in awww! mom, you couldn't wait for us. They both hug me and say happy birthday. God, why couldn't this be my real family? I kiss my Dovey and hug her goodbye before lily and I walk off to school. As I step into the school parking lot I see an older familiar man with Jesse standing next to RJ & Dave. RJ spins around so fast like an accident or something just happened behind him with his mouth open. Our eyes lock & something just pulls us together I don't even realize we're both moving until I hear RJ say mine.

Lily nudges me Rose is that your dad? When May yells it snaps me right out of my trance and just as I'm fully realizing what lily just said? May starts screaming at the top of her lungs DADDY you came back, DADDY! She runs & jumps into his arms.

Dad hugs hers back I start running to him tears falling down my face but stop once May looks at me and I turn around I can hear RJ let out a growl under his breath as he wraps an arm around me & walks me over to my dad. Mark is watching from over by the football field. He found out last year that dad isn't his real dad.

Which is probably why he's not running over like May did. Dad turns to Mark and waves Signaling for him to come over with that mark comes running. Dad looks at me and May saying I've come for you kids your all skipping school today. We need to talk about things that happened the night he left and why he hasn't been back since.

Mark May & Jesse hope in my dad's car while Rj & Dave make me & lily ride with them. Yes I made lily come with They've never talked to me before so I'm unsure why and I'm unsure why RJ called me his. I never did get around to reading them werewolf books after seeing them all shift two years ago.

I have been switching some things up to try and make the book more interesting I've only gotten this far. I need to do a grammar check next soon as I get some time again. I'm also not good with punctuations and all the grammar stuff but I found an app that can help I'll be checking it out next week when I get paid again. Seeing I have to pay to use it and I'm broke ass hello right now...
