Clash

Mallory's last couple days have been a slow and steady continuation of her schedule. One thing she had learned was when she felt down she needed to keep putting one foot in front of another or everything falls apart.

Life felt in the grey. She was so incredibly numb from the pressure of the many moving parts around her. The slowly growing distant between her sister. The unwillingness but also gilt of not wanting to confide in Stella. The growing pressure of how to deal with the issues that have resulted from dating Stella.

Despite Mallory's best effort she has managed to fully win over Stella mother but at the bare minimum she was just shy of being able to return the money to Stella's parents if she wanted and they were willing but Stella has been proving to be an obstacle in that plan.
