Chapter 9

Astrid Pov:

  "Now if that is all I suggest you get back home Astrid, It is 20:00." As he said that I realized that I had been out for a long time and everybody would be wondering where I was.

  "Ok I will see you later." I say as I hurry home wondering who that was.

  As I am traveling through the woods I catch sight of someone in the trees and throw my axe from hiccup at them.

  Somehow they catch it. "Who are you."

  "I thought that Thorfinn would have made that clear." They say that as they jump down from the tree and I realize that this is Thorfinn's Friend.

  "Why are you here, and again who are you." I ask since if they are here in secret that can't be good, even if he is Thorfinn's Friend. But his answer surprises me.

  "That does not matter yet but I need you to take a nap." He says and I start to hear some hissing and realize that it is Zippleback gas and Then I lose Consciousness.

  Next thing I know I am waking up in my bed with a note on my axe by the door.

  The note says. "Take it easy having to much of that in a day can be bad." I think that they are talking about the gas meaning that they used it yesterday to knock me out at Thorfinn's cabin. I look out and It is 7:00 so I go to start my chores but they are all done to Perfection.

  I go and find the other guys and Ask. "Are all of your guy's chores also done to perfection." An they all respond. "Yeah."

  This is getting a little annoying and I am wondering who is doing all of our chores. Even though we are saved time we don't know what to do.

  I decide to go to the cove to work on my axe training till lunch when I go and eat. When I arrive I tell Stoick about the problem that we were having on chores and he says that he is stumped as well.

  After lunch I go down to the beach for a bit until 17:00 and then go back to the cove. I practice my axe throwing and then go into the hideout to look for clues on something.

  As I am turning on the lantern I notice something flicker. I look around and notice that it was an intruder and they just left.

  I follow though they are pitch black and I lose them in the cove. I go back in and see a note on the desk. I inspect it and realize that it is addressed to me. 

  I read it and it says. "Astrid I know that you don't like the chores being done for you though I am trying to help out a friend of yours who will be returning shortly, Goodbye. From Ryder."

  At the mention of Ryder I go and close the hideout and take it to Stoick. I don't stop to look for the clues and go straight to Stoick saying I found it on my deck.

  "When I catch this person I am going to kill him for TRESPASSING." He is furious for Ryder infiltrating berk and leaving this on a deck in the daytime without being noticed.

  Me and the gang are put on patrols at 8:00 starting the next day. I go home and find a note on my bed saying. "I wish you hadn't told him about me, to respond put a note in the hideout. burn this and any others so they can't be traced or used against you or someone else."

  Seeing that last bit I burn the note and go to bed.

  I wake up at 7:00 and Again our chores are done and the guards didn't see who did them. I go and tell Stoick and at this point he isn't surprised.

  I go to the hideout and write a note back. "The reason that I told him is because you are rider and you go against our culture." I leave it on the desk and search around for clues as to who he may be if he is Thorfinn's friend since Thorfinn built this and Hiccup has used it.

  I find nothing only traces of Hiccup and Thorfinn.

  For the next week Nothing happens and then a ship comes into view and next thing we know we see Hiccup on it.
