Chapter 21

Astrid Pov:

 It has been around 2 months since Hiccup left. There hasn't really been that many problems around.

 I am just going about my regular day in the village when we see a incoming ship. I look more closely and see that it is Trader Johann. We all go down to the docks and Johann says. "Ah, Berk. My favorite of all the islands I travel to!" He says in his normal cheery voice.

 "Come one come all, you need it I have it, you want it I got it. Spices, Exotic animals, silks...." Johann says and continues with his normal intro.

 As I am looking around Johann comes up to me and said. "Master Hiccup asked me to get this to you." He says handing me a note. "Thanks." I say and I leave since I didn't find anything I wanted.

 When I get back to my house I open the note and it says: "Astrid, so far school is going great and we have had many visitors like you guys. I have 5 classes, Sword Training, Study/History, Forgery, Hand to Hand Combat, and Maces and Talons. The visitor that came after you guys, since they don't share who visits outside the school I thought I would let you know. It was Griselda the Grievous. Other than that everything has been going great, we have moved onto advanced Swordsmanship and Hand to Hand Combat. In maces and talons I almost beat the Teacher Viggo who goes harder on me than everyone else. Nobody will pass the class unless they can defeat him. I hope you are doing well, also to keep this a secret burn this note in a discreet location. Yours Truly HHHT3rd."

 At this I immediately burn it and decide to go talk to Stoick. I go to the blacksmith and see Him talking to Gobber, I was going there to see if Gobber knew where he was.

 "Stoick." I call out. He turns around and Replies. "Yes Astrid."

 I have to be careful in phrasing because of the importance. "Hiccup managed to send me a note from School. You remember the people who Fishlegs and Ruffnut ran into along with Hiccup during his trip." I say carefully since I know it is sensitive.

 "Yeah, what about it." He says seriously and cautiously. "Well after the first week Griselda the Grievous visited and Hiccup was in a disguise so they didn't notice him. He is doing fine so far. Hiccup didn't say weather or not to tell you but I figured you should know." At this Stoick seems a little furious and upset.

 "Ok, don't worry about it." He says after he calmed down and walked off.

 I go back to my routine and the next day decide to visit Stormfly. When I am about to leave I see Thorfinn running to me. "What?" I call out and his response scares me.

 "The school decided to send the students to the island where Toothless and Stormfly are we need to get them to safety. I trust you have that armor." At this I nod and run to grab it and bring it to Thorfinn's where he Brought the ship and we set out.

 On the way I asked. "Will we get there in time?" Thorfinn doesn't look scared though. "Yes because once Hiccup found out he sent me a Terror Mail saying that Tomorrow they will be going there. So we have that amount of time to hide all the dragons and the cave entrance." I can see a bit of urgency in this and prepare myself for what is to come.

 A few hours pass and we arrive. I immediately go to Toothless and Stormfly's cave and take them to Thorfinn. "Where are we going to put them?" I ask since I don't know why Ryder isn't doing this himself.

 "I will worry about that just go and block off the cave where Stormfly lives. Also send the dragons off, I will hide these guys." Thorfinn says. To this I go and hide Stormfly's cave and when I get back the dragons and ship are gone but Thorfinn is standing waiting for me.

 "Where are the Dragons and Ship?" I ask. "They are in a safe cave, follow me, Hiccup left a hut for us." Thorfinn says, and I follow him. We eventually come to a cabin and go in.

 We spend the night and the next day Thorfinn says. "They will be here around 8:00. We will stop them from getting to the dragons in our disguises. Do not attack them though, if you do knock them out." I can see reason.

 "Ok." I say and we head off. It isn't long till we come across the party invading Ryder's/Hiccups Island. I follow Dagur knowing that he will be the most trouble.

 When they see a dragon on the beach and are about to attack I jump out and say. "Stop." In a commanding voice, away from my usual sound when I am talking so they don't know its me.

 "Who are you and why are you protecting the dragons." I look behind him and see that I am out numbered but then Ryder shows up beside me and says. "We are the protectors of this island and have protected it from far worse than you." I decide to play along.

 "But who are you?" Dagur asks. I decide to Answer saying. "I am Valkyrie and this is Ryder." At the mention of Ryder all of them back up including Dagur.

 But then more people come out and I am wondering what have I gotten myself into.
