Rocked The Devil

Tiger and Robin set their feet closer to the office of Uncle Maxwell within the consumption of almost half an hour while seeming to be absolutely serene, unwittingly holding one another's hands yet, quite as if their lips are stitched but suffering with a massive waterfall of affectionate words gliding and streaming within themselves. After the taxi has gone, they cover a small distance by foot then he softly speaks to her, "Robin! I wouldn't go near the building otherwise the cameras outside would catch me! I am waiting for you over here while sitting on this bench. You should go and proceed calmly with the task I have given you. He is your uncle, he would definitely understand you and listen, don't worry! I have committed to being always with you!"

Staring at one another with a pleasant smile, She reacts with a brief nod while seeming a bit agonized about the task she is going to attempt, then turns with the intention to leave but suddenly she hits the brake and turns her head back and sets her eyes on his hand and finds that her hand is still held by Tiger. She stares at the firmly held grip of their hands and speaks in a low voice, "I am just coming back!"

Following the way of her sight, as soon as he catches sight of their hands, he shakes her hand away immediately. She begins walking slowly away from him in the direction of the building with her face touching the cold breeze and her lengthy locks performing with the music of the night sensing within herself an alarm pointing a sudden forthcoming storm, whereas he moves in the opposite direction to her and sits over a bench. Soon, she enters a crowded, large, officially well-settled building, after she has been scanned and inspected thoroughly. Sitting over the back of the bench, he takes out his phone and begins to watch the view of the micro camera attached to the button of Robin's shirt. With the help of the microphone, he is able to hear the sounds too. He notices that Robin is walking slowly and sometimes stops. He feels a little bit weird as if he is afraid that the lady on the phone might be right and that she might break his trust and run away.

On the fifth attempt of her stoppage, he asks,

"Hey, Robin! Why are you stopping here and there for no reason? What are you trying to do?"

Robin replies softly in a lowered voice, "I thought that you might want to see the workers or something else by placing the camera. I was just helping you see."

It sets him out with a mild shock and leaves him unreplyable. Watching the live camera video quietly, he comes to find that she finally sets her feet in the Office of Mr. Maxwell after she has been permitted via the guard. Tiger feels glad that she has conveniently passed all the guards and reached him quite easily. Uncle Maxwell becomes absolutely astonished but happy to catch the sight of her presence in his office and he greets her delightfully.

"Oh my loving daughter! Why did you come here yourself, far distant from your house? Why didn't you tell me on the phone about your arrival or you might have asked me to approach you at your home? Did you arrive all alone?"

"Yeah, Uncle! Actually, as you know, dad's condition does not allow him to walk by himself even and I was supposed to meet you as per his decision …" She speaks in a low agonized voice but with a pleasant smile over her face as if she is trying to express herself tranquil.

"The receptionist called and told me that a girl is here to meet you but I didn't imagine that it would be you." He replies with still astounded expressions.

"Uncle, I just came urgently. Actually, as I said earlier, dad is unable to arrive here so far." She speaks in a low voice.

"Have a seat my daughter! But I can always approach him, whenever and wherever he would need me. All you need is just to call me." He retorts with a high pitched, pleasant smile while pointing at a chair in front of him.

"Don't worry, Uncle! I have Left my cousin, Ritcher with him to take care of him carefully. (Tiger is a little bit surprised by hearing Richter's name) He himself sent me to you for a sudden urgent requirement."

While listening to her carefully with the same gratifying smile, he turns to the telephone placed aside and calls the reception to send two coffees for them along with biscuits and other refreshment.

Turning back to her, he retorts softly, "Yes, my dear! I am always ready to help you. I will always try my best at whatever is required to do for you and your father."

"I am here to … I am here to get the documents and others of mine, kept by you." Her pleasant smile suddenly turns a little bit reserved and her expressions turned solemn which leaves the room to prevail in complete silence over the scene for a few minutes.

"Okay! … But … but Robin, your father did not ask me to give them to you, I mean, he didn't even tell me about your arrival and his decision or whatever he has commanded you although when I talked to him the last time, he said that the things are getting worse. He was warning me to be more conscious and take care of them very carefully." He retorts as if he is turned slightly terrified while lowering his head.

Tiger ponders that Robin might catch and figure out his cleverness and well-planned conspiracy. He becomes worried that her love for her father and uncle might make her derailed.

After a moment's silence, he adds, "His only decision about them is to hand over all of them to you, although he has already issued such letters and signed them."

Robin becomes a little bit confused and drowns into thoughts and memories with her face clearly exhibiting her worried expressions.

"Robin! What happened ? Don't you remember I am always with you! Do as per my orders and I will never let you down! As I have committed." Tiger speaks swiftly in a low worried voice while emotionally black mailing her which progresses Robin to recover her slight smirk and a bit of strengthful expressions and she proceeds with speaking,

"Dad gave me these to hand you over. I don't really know what they are for but, … Here we go!"

Robin brings out the code chip and other documents and passes them to Uncle Maxwell. He becomes absolutely astounded and astonished to perceive them with his mouth left opened and unreplyable.

After the passage of a few unsaid minutes, he asks, "Who gave you this?"

Tiger advises in a low voice, "Dad!".

Robin repeats, "Dad!"

"Do you know what this is?" Asks Mr. Maxwell curiously.

"The code chip which is only known by you and by my father as a sample of verification." Retorts in a low voice.

Robin repeats once again, "The code chip which is only known by you and by my father as a sample of verification."

"Huh! What can I do?" Losing all of his strength, he throws himself back into his chair with an exasperated sigh.

"Uncle Max, Is everything okay? Are you okay?" She asks with great eagerness to know, turned a bit confused and worried.

Within a lowered voice, he begins to speak while revealing his terror, "You were just two to three years old in the arms of a nurse, when your mother coldly left both of you and didn't see back again. That time… that was the time your father gave me that and do you know what he said?"

"He softly said "Max! My friend! These are not mine because I don't know how many of my years are left in this world but I don't want to LIVE anymore, though I need to survive for my lovely Robin. All of my property and everything else is only for my lovely innocent daughter. Take care of them for her until she grows mature, Ah! One of the most relaxing days for me and my friend, I will surely pick them up from you as soon as she grows wiser, and when she would be able to stand at my place. Perhaps, I would not be able to come but she will come to you to take them. But listen, be careful if someone will come to you and say that I have sent him then refuse him as these documents are all of the property I made in my whole life and others which I got as a present. You are my only most trusted friend and nobody else is going to be my trustworth." Mr. Maxwell ends up with soaked eyes while solemnly exhibiting affection and admiration for his only lovely friend.

As soon as he turns his eyes at her, he finds her with her lips smiling but eyes soaked into tears."Do you have an idea Robin that it was me who suggested to your father to design a code chip that will be known only by both of us so that nobody else could conspirately get it."

They let a few minutes of silence pass silently.

"Well! I don't want to do it but I am willing to hand them over to you." Penetrating his tears into a tissue paper, he stands up with an exasperated sigh and moves to the door.

Robin reacts by suddenly standing up, turns back, and cries aloud "Why don't you want to give me that?"

Tiger becomes absolutely astounded and he begins to design a plan B within his mind.

"Uncle Max! After taking them from you, I will certainly go straight back to my father." She adds with her same high pitched voice.

"Yeah! I think this all is happening all of a sudden, that's why I am slightly shocked and confused… I didn't expect it to happen so early and I didn't make up my mind! " After he has given the statement in a feeble voice, he turns and leaves the room. After he has closed the door, he completes his sentence as if he is whispering to himself,"and very frightened too, dear Robin."

"Robin! Follow him!" He commands Robin swiftly.

Following his instructions, she begins to walk behind Uncle Maxwell and let Tiger clearly look at the entire way. A guard approaches and asks Mr. Maxwell if he needs help but he refuses him. Most of the staff members stand up in his respect but he asks them to sit back and he keeps moving on and proceeds down to the twenty-third floor of the building. He enters the private room where many of the lockers are placed. He turns aside and enters a further opened room which is found filled up with certain boxes. All these boxes look like money repositories and all are locked.

"They seem like treasure boxes!...But anyone can break them." She speaks in a low voice.

"No, No! (laughs) Not only do locks secure them but every box has a particular code Personal Identification Number that is PIN that is absolutely different from the other. Other than this, this room and the last one also have many cameras set up."

"Like that!" She asks while pointing to the camera which is focusing them.

"Yes! But there are many cameras hidden, also, did you notice that I opened the room by dialing a code PIN? It is another security barrier!" He adds.

"It means these boxes contain extremely important things." She asks.

"Yes! Of course. It is like keeping other people's trust as one of our major responsibilities." He instructs her further.

"I am truly astounded that I am allowed to enter the room." She speaks with a slight smirk.

"There are only three men, including me, who have the keys while the fourth one is kept by the head department. But we don't know all of the PIN's, only those which are ours. Luckily, You are with me. (With a deep sigh) Your father, who is very sharp and wise, also often came here with me."

Both of them are walking through a dark narrow lane and then progresses to a door. This door also requires five different keys, thumbprint verification, and a PIN. Tiger observes that it requires three minutes to get opened. As soon as it opens, Mr. Maxwell turns back to Robin and says softly in a low voice, "Stay here and wait for me! I am just coming back."

"Why?" Whispers Tiger.

"But Uncle Max…" She wants to proceed further for the sake of Tiger's satisfaction.

"I said! Stay here." He solemnly forces her.

"Don't you trust me?" She turns absolutely astounded over his straight refusal.

Patting her shoulder, he takes a deep sigh and whispers in her ear, "Look, dear Robin! We must not trust even upon our own shadow."

These words of Mr. Maxwell shocks her and leaves her shivering with her mouth left open whereas he himself goes in. She keeps standing there and sinking in deep oceans of thoughts and confusion. Mr. Maxwell walks out after a few minutes have passed with a suitcase and locks the door. Both of them walk back to the corridor.

"I could not imagine that you don't trust me!" She speaks with all of her expressions faded away.

"What? No, I definitely trust you, my daughter. It was just a lesson which I wanted to teach you because I think you will need it for the rest of your life time. … Well! Take it! This is yours." He retorts while patting her shoulder.

"Uncle Max! You are a great person and a very loyal friend of my father. You know very well that since my mother left us, my father was used to sharing and discussing his every problem with you, and even whenever he went on a long professional trip, he always left me at your home and I remember how cheerful days I spent with you. I can never forget your love, care, and honesty. Thanks, a lot." She gently speaks with noble expressions and a lovely smile.

"Love you, dear! Take care of yourself as well as your father." He retorts with the same pleasant smile, suppressing his agonized and stressed emotions within himself.

She turns and walks back to the lift, moving down. Tiger begins to ponder that "She is really very innocent and trusts me blindly. She didn't even understand when his uncle forewarned her… Whereas how selfish her mother is? She didn't even identify the innocence of her own daughter. She is quite the opposite of her mother." His expressions set absolutely aligned with his depressed emotions, waving at the shore of confusions and letting deep sighs exhale his warmth of agonization.

Being sunk in these thoughts, he suddenly hears the delighted voice of Robin who seems too excited and mirthful. "Hey! Heartless, I am back. I did it! Let's go back to my dad! Finally, we have to go to my dad straight away. Hurry up!"

Getting back into his senses and perceiving her innocent delighted face exhibiting massive admiration for her father, he hears an eternal voice,

"So, Congratulations! Finally, you have looted her and rocked being the devil!"
