| Part of This World (Part 2)

With every night spent in the wild and every day on the road, Soo-Ah and Jung-In approached the capital. The people they encountered fared better the closer they were to Seorabeol. It appeared that the king was not relying entirely on the gods' mercy and on the passing of time to make things better for his subjects. He did send them help, as far as he could reach because help can only reach so far in such uncertain times.

The final stop before arriving at their destination was a small settlement, only a day away from Sereabeol. The town was a common stopover for travellers and trade caravans, so it offered its visitors the comfort of inns and tea houses. This was where Soo-Ah and Jung-In were planning to spend the night.

Entering the small settlement Soo-Ah was looking around at the livelihood of the town's people. She was surprised at the diversity of races as each one of them was wearing different styles of clothes and spoke in languages she did not understand.
