Having Fun in One Piece With a NanoBot-System

[Disclaimer: First time writting, english is my 2.language] This was on break as first i was buried in exams- but now that the Vegapunk Ark started, I can not continue writing my story as the chance is high that with each new manga chapter something from my story will get invalidated massivly. Because of this I am putting this on Hiatus until either the Vegapunk Ark is fully over or we had enough Infodumps from Oda so that I am sure I safely could continue. Somebody get's reincarned in the world of One Piece with a Nanobot-System ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Tags: science; harem; companybuilding; slowburn; in-universe-poiltics ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am always open for ideas, so leave them in either a review, chapter comment or directly on in paragraph comment if you think something should be added, changed or included in future arcs etc. I am not sure about the harem and don't expect the romance to be anything grand. Also english is my second language so correct me if i am wrong! Disclaimer: I own nothing here

The First Journey Part 9 // Reaching the Top but then Experiencing the Lowest

-{Scene Break}-{Admiring the View during the Lift}-

/

The view was just simply breathtaking.

Watching the sun rise over the ocean while the light scattered over it was just plain beautiful. Green and Artoria watched for many hours not really talking about anything. Their previous discussion seemed forgotten as they watched over the sea as they raised higher and higher.

The entire day they spent walking around the ship and just admiring the view. The speed with which the ascended was not even that great, if Green had to guess it maybe less than half a Kilometre per hour. If there were stairs on the Red Line you would be faster taking them.

Green only realised that something was different when his System warned him. The air became thinner for a while. But at around 14 hours in, it reversed. The air started to normalise again. Before he went to sleep, at hour 18 the air was only minimally worse than on the ground. When he woke up at hour 24, the air quality was better than the normal one.

So Green once again found himself in front of Tsuru eating his breakfast.

"Remember to stay inside," Tsuru said calmly.

"Yes, yes… btw why is the air getting better instead of worse?"

"Umm, of course you realise that. This place was not chosen randomly to become the centre of the World Government and the home of the Celestial Dragons. Because of the mangrove trees the atmosphere at this part of the Red Line is way better than elsewhere. Also the ones on top are way older than their cousins on Sabaody, so the atmosphere is even a bit better."

Green found it a bit funny, a little giggle escaped him while he still focused back on his food. Tsuru looked at him with a questioning face.

"So it is basically a "Holy Land '' as it is better there than basically anywhere. I did not think it would literally mean that."

The older woman thought about his reply and then just shrugged in a "I guess" way.

Artoria joined them a moment later followed by Gion, which for once did not have to stay awake for the night shift as they were not in danger of an attack. They talked about random topics, from Artoria's life as princess to funny stories from Gion's time in the Marine Officer Academy. Tsuru would interrupt with classical "In my time that was different"- kinda story, which sometimes then involved Garp and Sengoku.

They had a lot of fun, everybody enjoying their time. The time passed so quickly that when they wanted to leave the lunch was about to be served.

First one to leave was Gion as she would have to do a patrol to check that everything and everybody was right.

Gion and Artoria went back on the deck to enjoy the view while they were still allowed outside.

And Tsuru went into her cabin to finish some paperwork.

As soon as the top of the Red Line came into view, Tsuru appeared behind them and shushed them underdeck. They followed her demand and went to their rooms. Technically they went into Artoria's cabin as Green ones was a good bit smaller.

Artoria went and did some exercises while Green tried to translate the Devil Fruit Encyclopaedia he bought on the West Seat. Both of them were suddenly interrupted as the ship stopped abruptly, letting Artoria stumble and Green painting a straight line of the paper on which he was writing.

They both rushed to the window and saw that they were indeed over the Red Line. A minute after they stopped, another ruck went through the ship and they were able to see a ramp which had been first extended below them and then moved up below the ship.

A couple more minutes later the clamps of the airships were lossend and the massive Marine warship skidded down the ramp into water.

Afterwards the ship was turned by 90 degrees turning the front towards the Paradise part of the Grand Line.

And then they literally set sail on top of the Red Line. From the amount of sounds Green was able to hear, he realised that they literally only set the main sail.

As they creeped along this channel on top of the Red Line, the Holy Land slowly came into view of their window. They were a good distance away from it, but Green could still see the massive castle Mary Geoise.

But how could he not, it was fucking massive.

The multiple stories mansions of the World Nobles which stood next to it were tiny in comparison. Green and Artoria just stayed glued to the window.

If the West Seat looked over the top then this was overshooting the goal so far that it was just comical. He saw multiple things out of gold, so many decorations which were out of precious stones and the amount of statues with the claw mark were mind boggling.

And Green was only "passing" by. He did not want to know how it looked inside. When he saw some people work on the outskirts in some gardens, Green was with a lot of squinting able to see the slave collars.

He did not point this fakt out to Artoria and from the expression she had, she did not see it.

Half way through their ride on the channel they started to slow down until they fully stopped moving. Green did then realise that there was a small harbour. He pressed himself against the window and was then able to see another Marine ship in front of them.

A catwalk was lowered down from their ship and surprisingly Tsuru walked down. She waited down there for a couple of minutes until she turned around to the other Marine ship and greated somebody. She started to talk to the person while still waiting on the catwalk of their ship.

"System start lip reading," he ordered in his mind.

[... …. " …- have not seen each other in nearly over a year, come down here!" Tsuru]

An answer followed which Green could not hear and a second later a man appeared in front of Tsuru. Despite Tsuru already being a tall woman(A.C.: in canon she is 1.90m tall), the man was another 2 to three heads taller so Tsuru had to actively look upwards. He was muscular and despite his suit which covered his entire body you could see that he was probably completely ripped. The standard Marine cap covered his face but Green was able to see his moustache and a small braided goatee.

Sengoku the Golden Buddha was standing down there with Tsuru.

[... "how are you doing, old friend"...]

And they also talked about nothing really special. Until Green nearly fell off the window.

[... "...and why do I feel like being spied on from your ship Tsuru? Did you not teach your new apprentice that using Observation Haki to listen to conversation is rude."...]

Tsuru chuckled into her hand and then turned, looking straight at Artoira and Green.

[... "They are just the escorting mission that has been tacked on the other, but Sen-kun you should start training YOUR Observation Haki again if you can not know the difference between two curious civilians watching the big mighty Admiral and an Marine Officer which knows Haki and all the Six Powers."...]

She turned around and padded his shoulder while shaking her head.

[... "Vice-Admiral Tsuru is how you should speak to your superiors!" …]

[... "I'm technically below Z" …]

They bicker for a couple of minutes until they both go quiet suddenly. Both straightened out their uniforms while Sengoku stepped forward a couple of steps and Tsuru took position to the left behind him. Green and Artoria were not able to see far enough from their window, but Green groaned deeply and prayed that it would be too bad.

And a couple minutes later the first men in suits step into view for Artoria and Green. Behind them a contingent of different people followed. Multiple women with collars which were dressed "losely" and carrying different types of fruits and trinks. They went to the side making space for somebody.

On top of the back, of what Green expected to be a half-giant, was sitting a disgustingly fat "man". The Celestial Dragon was holding what seemed to be a whip with one hand and with the other he held onto the reins of the harness for the half-giant he was riding. The semi space suit with the comical glass helmet was rounding out this absurd picture.

Green saw next to him a fully stunned Artoria, shock, horror and disgust switching over her face. Despite being turned half away from Green he was able to see the not so amused faces of Sengoku and Tsuru. Sengoku was frowning, but Tsuru seemed to be genuinely mad.

The World Noble walked forward until he reached Sengoku and Tsuru and then they both bowed. Sengoku was the first to speak.

[... "Lord Godolphin, as you have ordered we have collected the Devil Fruits you wanted and are here to overbring them." …]

Green mentally made multiple flips after hearing that sentence. "That's what Tsuru collected on every islands, fucking Devil Fruits!"

Sengoku turned around and gestured towards his ship and then multiple marines with a suitcase each came running. Tsuru did that also and multiple marines came walking down the gangway with suitcases. What seemed to surprise Tsuru and then Green was that it was led by Gion, which had her Marine officer jacket fully buttoned up and the hood over her head.

From Tsuru's face you could read a lot in that moment. It ranged from anger to angst about what was happening and what could happen.

Green's eyes flickered back to the World Noble which dismounted his "mount" during this time and was looking at the opened suitcases, and Green for the first time in his new life was able to see Devil Fruits.

They looked weird.

That was Green's thought. And then he questioned why anybody would actually take a bite from one of these fruits when they are just hanging on a tree. The only thing that reminded him of a fruit was that they were shaped like that. The colours and patterns were just completely off.

[... "I am going to have so much fun when my slaves are going to eat them" …] His System lip read off the World Noble.

The Noble inspected each Fruit one by one. After a while he arrived in front of the Fruits which had been collected by Tsuru. When the Fruit came up that was held up by Gion, Green saw Tsuru tense up, so much in fact that Sengoku's head whipped towards Tsuru. He then realised that Tsuru was staring at the Celestial Dragon and the person holding the suitcase. It seemed that he was also able to add two and two together as he also then wide eyed starred at Gion.

For a moment it seemed that nothing was about to happen and the World Noble was already halfway moved over to the next Fruit when he moved back in front of Gion. It was clear that he did not look at the Devil Fruit but at the one presenting it, Gion.

At exactly that moment a presents washed over everyone, followed closely by a second one. The first one restrictive, pushed everyone away and the second one counter-acted that.

Sengoku now has a hand on Tsuru's shoulder and you could see the slight power play there.

[... "You Marine there, remove your hood." …] The fat Noble said.

Gion did nothing for a moment and then Sengoku ordered, [... "Marine, you have been ordered by a superior to do something!" …]

After Tsuru heard that she became even more tense.

With confident hands Gion pulled her hood down, but keeped her view down out of the way of the Nobel. The Celestial Dragon eyes went wide and pushed the suitcase Gion still held in front of her out of the way and stepped closer to Gion.

He grabbed her by her Marine jacket and pulled her close, until Gion's face was so close that her breath was misting up the glass helmet of the nobel. She clearly did not like that but kept her mouth shut. After studying her face he then pushed her back.

[... "Open that! Throw it away! Now!" …]

The World Nobel pointed at her closed officer jacket.

If the previous wave of Intent was heavy then this one was literally a hammer.

Tsuru literally slipped into the fighting stands and Sengoku seemed to shift his body into position to intercept Tsuru in case, but his face seemed incredibly conflicted. All the people standing on that pier were backing away from the two Admirals.

The only exceptions were the Celestial Dragon and Gion.

They both were just staring at each other. The World Noble was more ogling and on the opposite side was Gion looking in disgust.

[... "Marine, do I have to repeat myself!?" …]

Sengoku's voice was so loud that Artoria and Green heard it clearly inside the cabin. Tsurus head whipped from her intense staring at the Noble to Sengoku and if looks could kill Sengoku would have been literally eviscerated.

Gion, starting now visibly shaken, slowly opened her jacket. She was still wearing just hotpants and a pink shirt. Slowly she slipped out of the officer jacket and neatly folded it and held it in front of her chest, while just staring on the ground. The conflict in her mind was clearly shown as she probably wants to speak up but also knows what the consequence were.

You could visibly see the disgusting ideas going through the Celestial Dragons mind. And then he said something worse.

[... "Oh,oh, OH, oooooo, you are going to be my first Marine wife!" …]

Green could literally see the moment Tsuru could not hold it anymore. Her body went limp and then the moment later she disappeared out of Sengoku's grip. He seemed to need a moment to realise that his hand was empty now, but it was already too late as Tsuru seemed to appear between the Noble and the shaking Gion.

[… "Lord Godolphin, it seemed that we stayed away from today's agender, you still have more Fruits to inspect." …]

Tsuru said with a sickly smile on her face and pointing to the Devil Fruits. For anybody other than somebody with a completely warped sense of situation and self, this would be threatening as hell but for the Celestial Dragon this seemed completely normal.

"She is trying to distract him…. There is no way that would work!," were Green thoughts as he watched the Celestial Dragon turn his head to the other Devil Fruits. It even seemed to work as he focused on them again for a while.

During that time Sengoku appeared behind Tsuru and this time placed both hands on her shoulders. Whatever he whispered into Tsuru's ear was Green's System not able to read off his lips as her head obstructed the sight. Whatever he said did not calm down Tsuru, the exact opposite happened.

[… "If Garp hears about this he is going to either try to kill you or come straight up here and kill all of these guys!" …]

She spat that out and it seemed to affect Sengoku greatly.

The World Noble continued the inspection of his Devil Fruits, oblivious of the situation around him. Gion in the meantime put her jacket back on and tried to disappear into the background the best she could.

He finished it and then ordered his servants to take them back to his mansion. And then without any 'thanks' or 'farewells' he just mounted his half-giant slave again and starts to leave.

Green sighed in relief already, semie relieved that nothing worse happened. Artoria next to him seemed also to relax as she took a deep breath. He was about to say something to Artoria, about how insane that was, but then the cavern of the Noble stopped abruptly.

The reincarnated nearly ten year old feld the dread building up again.

The fat ugly World Noble came riding back on his slave. Green looked back to Tsuru and saw that she was still getting held in place by Sengoku. Gion was standing close to them with her head down and Tsuru was furiously lecturing Gion. All three of them did not realise that the Noble turned around and was approaching them again.

[... "Oi,Oi,oooooiiiiiii, you have to come with me, you're now my new wife!" …]

The trio stilled and Gion paled completely. Nothing happens for a couple seconds until Sengoku of all people says something.

[... "My Lord, the Marine you want to take is someone with a bright career in the Marines in front of her. She will have more worth in the active force and will provide more value like that long term for the World Government, and by that yourself, Lord Godolphin" ...]

Green found it even surprising that the World Noble listened this long to Sengoku without throwing a temper tantrum like a child.

[... "Do you THINK that you can decide what is BETTER than a GOD!?" …]

The Celestial Dragon yelled with his shrill voice which even hurt Artoria and Green behind their window.

[... "Of course not, my Lord-" …]

[... "Then she is now my wife! I can not wait to tell the others, they will be so envious about me getting a Marine wife." …]

The fat man was jumping around like an idiot and if that was happening on a normal street everybody would laugh at him.

[... "Come now wife, I want to "celebrate" having a Marine wife! hehehehe" …]

The fat ugly bastard actually licked his lips while saying that and his eyes were basically fucking Gion already.

Sengoku was in the meantime still holding Tsuru down. With every passing second Green thought that a blood bath was about to happen. The forces at play between those two were immense, which you could visibly see as the ground below them started to crack and with each passing second the cracks became more.

Gion during this time was still looking at her mentor and Admiral in hope. The World Noble on the other side became impatient, as he grabbed Gion by the arm and tried to pull her away.

Anyone in the seas of the world could tell you that trying to move a Marine Captain in any direction takes a considerable amount of power. They are trained to be a bulwark against criminals, their job is it to literally stand tall and firm against all kinds of harsh situations. So what happened when an out of shape, fat man, who in his life never needed to lift a finger to even wipe his own ass, tried to move set unmoveable bulwark.

He fell on his ass.

His hand which held on to Gion stayed put, while his legs walked away.

For Green it looked comical.

Gion was unmoved, literally, still trying to be somewhere completely different.

It took the Noble a moment to register what happened. And maybe he realised that he was on the ground and for the first time in his life had to look up to someone but what he said next made the entire situation much worse.

[... "Y-y-you a-a-tacked me…" …]

|

|

|

|

|

It was absolutely silent.

And then out of nowhere appeared a group of guards. They all wear heavy armour with a spear in their hands. It took them a moment to assess the situation and they circled Gion and pointed their spears straight at her neck.

[... "S-s-she is t-t-t-he one who a-a-a-ttacked me" …]

He points at Gion and the guards' speartips literally touch her neck.

[... "I don't want you to be my wife anymore,... Bring a slave collar!" …]

"Holy shit!" Green said out loud. Artoria wiped her head around, "what is going on? I can barely understand them."

"From lip reading of the fat bastard, he wanted Gion to be his wife- no he ordered her to be his wife, then tried to pull her along, landed on his ass, so now he claims that she "attacked" him and wants her to be his slave now." Green summarised.

"You can lip read?! You should have told me from the beginning! And that is disgusting. Why is Sengoku holding Tsuru down, should they not intervene?"

"An Admiral is directly under the World Nobles, as in getting orders from them. That bastard claimed he was "attacked" by Gion so technically Sengoku HAS to intervene now and defend the little bitch. Also despite Tsuru being literally one of the strongest women alive, Sengoku is also one of the strongest men alive.

They cannot lift a single hand against him as that would be direct treason against the World Government, that is why Sengoku is holding Tsuru down, they are friends as far as I know, he is trying to save her from herself."

"But what can anybody do here to help?," Artoria sounded completely defeated and hopeless.

Green did think about exactly that. "The only reason to remotely save this situation, to come out with the least pain and suffering would be to give Gion a headshot, Tsuru can't physically intervene, Sengoku tried to play his little power he has as an Admiral and if you do not have a direct line to the 5 Elders I see this only getting worse."

His cold reasoning seemed to make Artoria even more depressed and then she all of a sudden went wide eyed.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god," she seemed to start hyperventilating.

"A panic attack?" Green questioned. "It is ok, it's ok, you don't need to watch it if you can't take it-" he tried to calm her down, thinking that she is starting to be overwhelmed by this situation.

"No, no, no that is not it. I could have saved her!" she snapped back at him.

"What?!"

"My father gave me a Snail that would let me call him at all times, it's normally used for military stuff and works around the entire world," she answered between her heavy breaths.

"And what does this have to do with our current situation?"

"First I left that Snail on the West Seat and as from the lessons I had, I know that my father has another Snail that lets him call the World Government directly for emergencies. I could have maybe saved her if I took that Snail with me."

"You don't know if they would have listened to your father… it's ok, the situation is not over yet there might still be some hope left." Green highly doubts that but you can always hope at least.

While the two of them were talking inside, outside the situation did not move along much. They were still waiting for a slave collar to be brought while Sengoku was restrinning Tsuru which looked happly to kill someone. Gion looked pale and was still shaking but not as much as before.

An agent showed up with a collar in hand and walked up to the World Noble.

[... "Hold her still, I want to put it on her myself. If she does not want my wedding ring then she gets this hehehehehe" …]

The guards moved in closer, and two grasped Gion's shoulders and pushed her down on her knees.

Gion looked panicked over to her teacher, her eyes pleading her to do something.

The Celestial Dragon moved closer and opened the collar.

Gion's head was snapping between the Noble and Tsuru and Sengoku. Sengoku's hands were actually golden now and he had his face turned away. Green was able to feel Tsuru's intent raise constantly. The cracks below them were spreading out further and became bigger.

The Saint was now standing in front of her.

[... "Hehehehe your mine now hehehehe" …]

Gion looked over to her teacher and she mouthed.

[... "please help me" …]

Green looked over to Tsuru which actually went limp in Sengoku's hold. Tears were on Tsuru's face, she blinked a couple of times and was then able to mentaly catch herself. Her face became clear and then she mouthed back.

[... "Gion, fight back. I will hold them back, but you have to fight back!" …]

"Is this really going to evolve into a fight? This has to be some butterfly event. Gion is obiously free in the mainstory but here she would be fucking enslaved. Is this my fault?" Green felt guilt rising inside him.

[... "but capt'n we will die" …]

Gion looked more calm between the approaching collar and Tsuru, which seemed to ready some kind of attack.

[... "It's ok, just run! I will not have your future strip of you!" …]

As the collar was centimetres away from closing, Gion made her decision.

Her hand went to her sword and the next moment all the guards and the Noble were knocked away making space for her. At that moment Tsuru screamed,

"Just run, do not look back!".

She then activated her Devil Fruit and the ground became wavy which seemed to surprise Sengoku, losing his grip on Tsuru. She capitalises on this moment and crouches down, bringing Sengoku's hands down with her and using that momentum to throw him over her shoulders. Tsuru soru'ed after the flying body of Sengoku.

Gion did as her captain ordered and started to run.

She did not get far as when she was only a couple steps away a figure appeared in front of her.

A person wearing a white suit and a mask.

"Fucking CP0, what the fuck, what the fuck could go wrong else?" Green was cursing in his head.

The hands of the secret agent blurred and Gion was back on her knees.

[... "Turn the slut around, I will deal with her on my own!" ...]

The World Noble ordered the agent, as he picked his fat ass off the ground. The CP0 agent unceremonly turned Gion around and pulled her up straight on her hair, she was still kneeling.

The Celestial Dragon walked again towards her.

[... "You bitch! You attacked me twice! I even forgive you for the first one and only wanted you to be my slave as re-payment but now your dead!" …]

He pulled out a golden Pistol and aimed it at Gion.

[... "Your face is too beautiful to get shot" …]

His aim went from her head down to her torso.

He pulled the trigger.

*Boom*

|

|

|

|

|

Gion went limp.

"NOOOOooo!" was screamed from somewhere.

The CP0 agent let her hair go and she fell to the side, a red spot in the middle of her chest getting bigger by the second.

The World Noble like before instantly lost interest and turned away, leaving again.

Tsuru appeared next to Gion, kneeling next to her tears in her eyes. Sengoku was also coming from the side where they were fighting a moment ago. The CP0 agent went to Sengoku, told him something which made him frown and then Soru'ed away. Green's System was not able to read it off the lips of the agent as his back was turned to him.

"Can nobody help her?" Artoria next to him said while sobbing into her hands.

"System damage analysis and possible solution."

[...From this viewing perspective the bullet entered with high possibility somewhere between the 3 and 5 rib on her left side. High possibility of damage to the heart and lungs. No visible exit wound.]

[...Possible solutions to save the target range from organ transplantations to a direct injection of Bots but more information on the extent of the damages are needed.]

Green was in deep thought, as his thoughts were all over the place. His Bots could save her from basically anything other than a headshot, but with Tsuru and Sengoku here he could not risk the exposure. Even if he revealed his genius status to the Marines it would not explain why he has something this advanced in his body.

"I need to have more information on her condition," was his decision. He peeked outside again, he saw Tsuru pick up Gion and start to slowly walk up the gangway.

"Fuck it," Green said loudly. He then pulled Artoria's face towards him and said, while looking as intense as he could in her eyes, "I want you to run as fast as possible into the infirmary and get them onto the deck because they have patient there." Artoria stared at him, not giving out any response but after a moment she nodded intensely.

Receiving his responds he dropped from the chair and started to run. Hearing from behind, Artoria did the same. Choosing the shortest route through the ship he made it up on top of the deck in less than 30 seconds where already a small crowd had formed around Tsuru which still held Gion in her arms.

Green heard multiple people say that they could not let this go without doing anything. The nearly 10 year old pushed himself through the crowd.

The first thing he saw was that Tsuru's face was empty of emotions. Not like her normal reserved face but a complete plank face, he reasoned that she is still in shock. He carefully touched her hands with his own, trying to get her attention.

Her attention he got as her plank stare immediately switched to him. "Come bring her to the infirmary," he tried to say that with as much gentleness he had. Tsuru for the first time blinked at him but then her eyes started to water up.

"No kid, there is nothing we could do. She does not have a pulse, I have seen stuff like this before." Tsuru's voice was calm, but you were able to hear the sadness in it, the hopelessness.

Whatever he wanted to say was interrupted by noises coming closer. He turned around and saw Artoria with the medic crew running up the stairs onto the deck.

"Let them try at least," Green said to Tsuru, who also saw the new arrival. She looked at Green and then she turned to her dead apprentices in her arms. She walked towards the medic crew, the crowd parted and she gently laid Gion on the stretcher.

"The bullet hit her heart directly, stopping it, maybe she also has some lung damage and no exit wound," Tsuru said with more life in it.

"Thanks Captain, we will take over from here," the leading medical officer said. They opened up her shirt and the officer started to examine the wound.

Tsuru went and stood next to Green, where in the meantime also Artoria stood. "Normally direct heart shots are directly dead as the bullet destroys it completely…. The bastard aimed for it!" Tsuru spat out the last part of her explanation.

In the meantime the doctor was done with his first set of tests and said that he had to open her to see if she had a chance. All of them followed them down into the infirmary and with one use of Tsuru's Devil Fruit they were able to start the emergency operation nearly immediately.

After a couple of minutes the doctor and his assistants had not so hopeful looks. They still kept examining Gion for more time.

10 minutes later the leading medical officer stopped with his work and reported. "The bullet completely destroyed her heart, too many holes, and I think also damaged the nerve. Everything else is fine, no visible damage to any other organs and I think I located all the bullet shards. But she still has no heart."

Tsuru sighed bitterly next to him, she then placed a hand on his head and gently stroked. "I told you kid, I have seen st-"

"You say she just needs a new heart?," Green asked the doctor, interrupting Tsuru.

"Aaa- yes, "just" a heart," the doctor said while looking down into Gion.

"How long does she have until her brain starts to die?," he asked further.

"Ummmm-, trained for multiple years, captain level physical endurance, mid to late teens, female, advanced combaten healthy diet,. . . . another 20 minutes, maybe 25 minutes? Hard to say, everybody is different," was the clinical answer he received from the doctor standing over Gion.

"System enter into high alert and problem solving mode," Green ordered his system. He did not even wait for the response of it and asked in the room, "Are there any electrical outlets in here?". All the medical equipment was hardwired into the walls.

He only received blank stares so he repeated his question but this time with more command behind his voice. One of the assistants pointed at a wall behind them to which Green immediately ran. He studied it for a second, saving its structure in his brain for later use.

Green then went fully into problem solving mode.

["Problem? No heart"]

["Needing a Heart, basicly a pump, circulates blood"]

["Pumps? Ship has pumps to empty water out if preached, they're to big"]

["Other pumps? In the city next to us, highly unlikely to find something quick enough"]

["Building a pump?.... possible, needs parts, small parts, and assembly equipment"]

["Equipment is ready, parts are findable, time problem?"]

["... … … No time problem"]

Green reappeared in the now. He was technically never gone, less than a second passed in real time. After his mind reconnected back with his body he was ready for action.

He addresses the doctor, "You remove the bullet parts and start to patch up everythings as well as you can!"

He then turned to Tsuru and said, "I need you to listen to me for the next 20 minutes and not question what I am doing, better actually follow my orders."

Tsuru's reaction to that would've been funny any other day, as she looked like a fish out of water and she was about to get angry at Green, but when she fully took in his expression she saw it. She had seen that kind of expression multiple times in her life. You would always see it when you're in a situation where all hope is lost and then somebody comes up with the plan.

So she argued with just a quick nod.

She later could not tell why she decided to go on with a plan of a literal nine year old.

"Captain you should not waste your time with that kid's stuppid ideas," one of the medics said. Tsuru's attention whipped from Green to the man. "You have your orders to put her back together as best as you can, so do it!"

Green was already moving to the door and was planning his next steps. The medic crew resumed their work and Tsuru was waiting for Green's next steps.

"I want you," she points at Tsuru, "to bring me all the work tools and technical equipment you have on this ship into the kitchen and that in less than 5 minutes."

"You," he points at Artoria, "are going to follow me to the kitchen and you," he points back to Tsuru, "will also be there in less than 5 minutes."

Tsuru smiles, "I can do that even quicker." She placed her hand on a wall. The next moment the entire ship seemed to start to wave. And then she said, "all technicians have to appear with their equipment and tools in the kitchens in less than 5 minutes!"

Green was confused to say the least. Tsuru sensing that, explained "I just "washed" my voice through the entire ship."

"Wow, Devil Fruits are bullshit!" snapping out of his trance, he gestured to them to follow them. They run through the ship with Tsuru in front. The Marines jumped out of the way pressing themselves onto the walls.

They arrived 25 seconds later in the kitchen. Despite Green not wanting to waste food he told Tsuru to order everyone to drop everything and leave. Already during the time the kitchen personnel were leaving the first technicians arrived with their tools boxes.

Green was scanning the room for everything he could use. The coffee and tea machines came into his view first. They were big enough to make over a hundred cups per usaged. He told Artoria to bring over the toolboxes and began deconstructing the machines.

His System tells him how to do that as quickly as possible. Half a minute later he saw what he needed, the small motors and pumps inside. After another 1 minute he had the first on out, followed by the second one not even 30 seconds later.

Setting the motors aside he looked around once more. He needs something for the chambers, something identical.

His view zeroed in on another machine.

"And on to the next…", he thought.

20 minutes and 35 seconds later Green and company appeared in the door of the surgery room of the infirmary. He turned towards Tsuru which needed a moment to understand what he wanted but then used her Fruit to make him clean so that he can get closer to Gion.

He quickly gave two cables to Artoria and gestured towards the wall with the outlet. The artificial heart Green was able to put together was provisional, temporary at best and would only work here because Tsuru can make stuff clinical clean with a touch.

The surgeon eyed him and what was in his hands. Without further discussions Green started his instructions.

"You have to connect the right side here," he points at one of the sides of his machine, "with this being the in and this the out." He again points over his machine. "On the left side this is in and this is out."

Green climbed on top of the operating table where Gion legs were and started to spectat. It was probably a weird picture, a nine year old standing over a patient while a machine was installed, which he just built with random stuff and was now overseeing the implementation.

The crew worked quickly and each side was connected. After they were sure it was full of blood, so they would not kill Gion with an air bubble, Green ordered, "Start the artificial respiration". The first step to bring Gion back to life. Green then indicated to Artoria to pluck the machine in. It was more her simultaneously holding two cables into each hole of the outlet then plugin it in.

His artificial heart instantly jumped to work.

The motors of his heart were the only thing audible for a moment.

Then a random assistant asked, "how do we know it works?". Green thought for a second and then answered "the body should take over her breathing on his own."

All the people in the room watched for multiple minutes in absolute silence. Green was happy that there was no leak on his machine but was still watching it with eagle eyes.

After 10 minutes Green thought the body had enough time to recover and asked to reduce the artificial breathing to just supporting. The moment they switched was where everyone in the room held their breath.

The reincarnated nine year old hoped that he was able to compensate for the butterfly event he caused.

The former princess hoped that her recently gained new friend is able to survive.

The highly decorated Vice-Admiral hopes that her apprentice in which she could see herself comes back and so she can at least apologise for failing her.

Like the people in the room hoped her lungs worked on their own.

She survived.

"Wow," a random assistant broke the silence with his exclamation. Green took a deep breath. "Close up everything and fix up her heart so it can heal on her own," Green gave his final command. He stepped down from the operation table and went to Tsuru which still stood close to the entrance.

"You should order some of the technicians to build multiple of these hearts in case that one over there fails." Tsuru just nodded at that, still staring at the slow raising and falling chest of Gion.

"If somebody needs me I am going to go back to my room and pass the fuck out," he said while walking out.

Green made a detour to the Mess and grabbed a dozen nutrition bars. While on his way to his room he stuffed them in, drinking them down with water.

As soon as he entered his room, he be-lines to his bed and jumped on it.

"System you can stop the pain suppression and start the healing of the damaged neurons right after you pass me out."

Problem solving mode as the name implies lets the host for the time it is activated solve problems at a high speed. It does that by integrating the System with the brain directly boosting its speed and giving it exesses to all memories in a "google search" way. Because the human brain is not designed for that it literally destroys itself while doing that, the Nanobot-System would normally at the same time it destroys itself repair, but because Green does not have the needed energy for that he only made it so that the repairs are focused on the most needed places.

wow

that was hard to write

do you know that writing a person to be as shitty as possible is hard?

also all the medical stuff is basicly bs
