Chapter 13: Dumbledore's Suspicion

For these half-bloods, Earnest's words were like salvation. Most of them might not have understood the deep intent behind those words, but they want to be a part of the world that Earnest has envisioned. Even many pure-bloods were enamoured by his words.

"I want to sever the fate of the world. A world of only victors. A world of only peace. A world of only love. I will create such a world."

Earnest left with these words as many in the common room had excited expressions as if they had found their leader. What no one noticed was that an Old Bat was also listening to these words and for a moment even he was stunned, even he wanted to live in that world but he quickly run his Occlumency to back his rhythm.

'This boy is dangerous. I need to tell Dumbledore or he might harm Potter in the future.' Thought Snape.

Earnest didn't even have contact with Harry or Ronald but was already on the list of suspicious individuals.

But if anyone is more vulnerable to the Eye of the Moon plan, then it would be Snape in this world. His obsession with Lily can be compared to that of Obito's.

In the Headmaster's Office:

" 'The selfish intent of wanting to preserve peace initiates war and Hatred is born in order to protect love.'

Such profound words, Severus, I never thought that I would hear this from the mouth of an 11-year-old." Dumbledore replied with a smile.

"Why are you smiling Headmaster? Don't you think that this is a seed for another Dark Lord, he already has exceptional strength and now using words to manipulate the students and build his own force," replied Snape in his characteristic sinister voice.

"I know that child Severus. During this vacation, he had an accident where he triggered a magic riot and lost all his memories permanently in that riot.

He had already suffered from multiple riots which is unusual for a child, so as a favor to the Tonks couple I personally visited the child but his mind was completely empty.

Back during the war times, the couple did help the Order multiple times, so I also wanted to repay them but the situation was a lot worse and I couldn't do anything more.

I heard that he likes to read a lot, and he might have read a lot to fill the gap left by his memories. Since he had no memories, of what he has talked about today, maybe it is a result of his analysis of our history.

And you have to agree Severus, those words are not empty, and I know a person who will fit perfectly in that condition."

Snape just snorted upon hearing that.

"As for creating a world of peace, victors and love, maybe this ambition is the reason why he was sorted into Slytherin.

I am relieved that his ambition comes from love, but I have to tell you, Severus, he has immense magic power, which he didn't have a couple of weeks ago. Maybe this is the result of his magic riot but keep a look at this kid.

Even if his ambitions come from a good place, such ambitions cannot be fulfilled without a major upheaval in the world and the world is at its most fragile state with two Dark Lords on the loose."

"I don't care about the world, as long as he is no harm to Potter, I don't care." With that, he flicked his robe and turned around to exit the office.

Just as he left, the rest of the headmaster's portraits in the office also started discussing.

"Those are some strong words Albus, just like Grindelwald. You should nip his power in the bud."

Said Phineas Black, the most notorious headmaster of Hogwarts.

"Do you want to harm a child Black? Even if his ambitions are dangerous, we cannot harm a child." Shouted another Headmaster.

With that, the previous Headmasters kept on discussing Earnest's speech while Dumbledore remained in his seat not minding their words.

'At this moment, I even doubt Harry's relevance to the world. If the prophecy is correct, then whether it's Voldemort or Grindelwald, everything is just a child's play in front of that power.' thought Dumbledore.

......

Next day, when Earnest came to the Hogwartz main hall, he didn't sit at the Slytherin's seat but directly went towards the Hufflepuff one. He sat next to his sister, who was already there, waiting for him.

"Hi big sis, how's it going?" asked Earnest in a casual tone as he started preparing his breakfast.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking this? Tell me Earnie, are you facing any trouble in the Slytherin house, does anyone dare to bully you, if anyone does tell me his name and I will see to it that they have a one way ticket to the infirmary...." Dora went on as she begins checking Earnest body for any assault but seeing that he was fine she breathed a sigh of relief.

Slytherin table was neighboring the Hufflepuff, and the students who were sitting there looked at Dora with weird eyes.

'Are you really a Hufflepuff, what's with the violence in your words and it's not us who bullied him but the opposite.' Everyone at the Slytherin table who heard the words thought the same thing.

Hermione also appeared in the hall, she looked a Earnest and waved her hand stowards him with a cheerfull smile on her face. She was already surrounded by the ravenclaw girls.

'Looks like my advise worked wonders for the girl. AT least she seems to be happy now.' thought Earnest as he also waved back with a gentle smile.

Many witches in the hall saw the scene and they were already envious of Hermione but her Ravenclaw friends didn't let the gossip pass and surrounded her and kept on asking her relationship with Earnest which made the young witch blush heavily.

Just then, Daphne also arrived at the Hufflepuff table and called out Earnest .

"Umm.. This is Slytherin's time table. See you at the class." With these words she ran off.

"You already have many little witches fallen for you, didn't you?" remarked Dora.

'I don't know if it's only me but I can feel a sense of threat from her tone.

Women are really scary.'
