Harry Potter: Monarch of Magic

William Reginal was once an insignificant figure following the flow of a mundane society without leaving any noticeable mark of existence. During a sleep no different from any other, William came in contact with the unspeakable, and unimaginable for a mortal, demon or even a god. Something greater. Far greater. When he awoke from his slumber a changed being, it marked the beginning of a legendary time in which he would be at the core of events that would be etched into the annals of time. ---------------------- Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc, are the property of their respective owners, William Reginal, Vincent Helin, and others. First Meeting!

Time passed swiftly and without notice after William received the letter for admission into Hogwarts. Up to this day, William has been meticulously planning the goals and structure for the Sentinels to operate in his absence. His first step was placing the loyal and intelligent Emanuel as the 'Head Praetor' and passing on logistical plans to him so the praetors can branch out and operate accordingly.

Following this promotion, William focused on his Judgement Walkers and Dragon Legion, drawing inspiration from his past life works he devised a method to incorporate the two. Each Praetor will be trained at first to battle with a dragon who has two stretched spell carriers beneath his wings, each capable of holding a large number of Walkers, who can harden themselves into stone capsules. When the spell is opened, the hundreds of stone figures will crash down with power from the sky before transforming into their bodies and continuing a fierce attack. An aerial bombing of sorts.

Finally, William set in motion a plan to employ various forgotten magical talents over the nation discretely and focus their efforts on creating simple yet useful products for the wizardry world. Despite magic being an amazing power, the use of technology within magic communities has stagnated over centuries and many normal muggle appliances are considered alien to them. Hence William will use his small fortune to create a business foundation and begin annexing the market monopoly the sacred families and Gringotts hold within Britain. Discretely, slowly, but effectively.

With many plans and goals set in motion, William finally felt comfortable enough to relax and enjoy some rare leisure time with Electra. However, this time was cut short when an expected but also unexpected guest arrived at the Sentinel Manor today.

Opening the large manor doors slowly, William stood in front of a five-foot nine-man, with pitch black slightly dishevelled hair split apart at the middle, growing down to barely cover his ears. His look carried an aura of alienation, indifference and according to William's keen senses, sadness. Matching his frowning face, the man was covered in a pitch black robe, staring intently at William to make the first move. Stunned for a moment, but then quickly regaining his composure, William gestured welcomely to the guest and invited him in.

As the man walked in, William greeted him in a formal and concise manner, "It is my honour to meet you, Potions Master and famed Hogwarts Professor, Mr Severus Snape". William's unmatching aura and concise greeting stunned Snape who was usually indifferent for a moment, before going on to talking. "William Ambrosius Reginal, it seems your name is not just for show, to recognise me instantly despite not being known of the wizard's world till recently, I guess there is some talent in you yet. Judging from your manor being in a wizards community the Ambrosius lineage obviously did not leave you in the complete dark. We leave for Diagon Alley immediately, ensure you have all that you need when we are done, after which you are on your own. Now hurry and grab onto me!". Ignoring Snape's unusually familiar tone and way of speech, William followed his instructions before Apparating away with him.

Within a few moments, skipping the famed Leaky Cauldron entrance, William appeared in the bustling view of Diagon Alley. The magical creations of the world were displayed everywhere, and wizards and witches shuffled about in mass. The latest broomstick, the newest magical utensil, quill, game and food, it was all here. These mysterious and unfathomable existences for most were nothing but ordinary for everyone here.

Weirdly enough, witnessing such a sight William did not feel out of place, no...rather he felt relaxed, more comfortable like he was used to such sights, it was normal for magic to exist and for him to see it and use it. He felt...at home. A rare smile filled with genuine joy appeared on William's face, which Snape regarded as just a small child excited to see the world of course, but only William himself knew how important this feeling was to him.

With Snapes' rare but concise instructions, William happily but efficiently bought all the books and clothes he required for his first year at Hogwarts. The final stop...the wand shop! Looking at the famous sign in front of the store, "Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C.", William walked in expectantly, intrigued by what type of wand he would receive but also how someone who can wandless cast and silent cast multiple times at once like him will benefit from an extra medium of focus like a wand, how much it will strengthen his abilities.

Pushing open the slightly worn wooden entrance door, William with Snape silently behind walked into an extremely untidy and vintage-looking interior. The famed wand smith is not in sight. However such searches for the man were quickly ended when an old man with messy grey hair whose eyes carried an unusual depth as if he is as old as time itself appeared in front of them, coming down from a high ladder and shuffling about the wand cabinets.

Before Snape could take the chance to introduce William to Ollivander, he quickly deduced he was an incoming new freshman and began his signature greeting. "Ah, young little snake, Severus, mhm...yes, I remember! Rosewood wand! Twelve and three-quarters inches long. Core of a kraken heartstrings. My how you have grown!". In response Snape showed a rare smile and responded in kind, "Impeccable memory as always Master Ollivander. Today I am here to get this one's wand, he is-".

Cutting in gracefully, William responded, "It is a dream to meet one of the most esteemed wand crafters in the world, Mr Garrick Ollivander. I hope today I will have the gift of being chosen by a wand within your establishment as well".

Slightly surprised by William's quick speech, unmatchable to his age, Ollivander laughed lightly. "Hoho, very nice, young in age but mature in mind, understanding that the wand chooses you and not the opposite, humble yet sturdy in resolve, impressive child. What is your name?".

"William Ambrosius Reginal, sir".

"Ah, that famed name, not matching our times, lost in the past but carrying such weight, it seems the names worth is carried in this eras descendants as well. I am excited to see what you accomplish Mr Reginal. Now let us see if there is a wand ready to choose a descendant of the Ambrosious lineage itself as their master, shall we?".

Following Ollivanders instructions, William was about to test a wand he was bringing, however, a stunning seen, which stopped Snape and Ollivander in their tracks occurred. A vortex of magical power appeared around an equally surprised William and every wand in the shop resonated with it, spinning around frantically in the air, every wand would smash against each other, emitting a unique magical outburst. Enough to knock out a wand from the air, but not enough to damage it. Such a scene continued for many minutes before finally the floor was riddled with thousands of wands scattered around, and only one magnificent wand floating in the air, the dominator of that conquest, slowly descending into William's right hand which he instinctively pulled up.

As the wand slowly rested within William's hand and was gripped and waved gently, with a powerful wave of magic power everything was placed back to its correct position by William, who used the wand masterfully as if it was an extension of him.

Acquire Wand: Check! As always feedback is welcome. Trying to carry on the storyline swiftly but without rushing the important details so it doesn't get boring, let me know if this pace is suitable for you all. If the detailed explanations of the surroundings and such are to your enjoyment. :) (Snapes Wand was unknown so made my own).
