CH-9 : Meeting Grandma Tsuru again..

It's been six months since Mark has started doing training with me.

Right now in East blue a marine ship could be seen which was heading toward the Neko Island.On the ship marine officer could seen chatting whlie marine chore boys were running around and doing there works.

A women could be seen standing in the front side of the ship while looking toward Neko Island in the distance.She looked like she was in her late forties and already had some white hairs.She was dressed in marine's Vice-admiral cloth.

Looking toward Neko Island the women became little emotional and said, "Five year~ i haven't seen Rebecca for five year's. I just hope that she is doing well."

Then she continued with a smile, "That child should have grown into a little boy by now.He should be happy right?"

Yes, the women was marine's great cheif officer Tsuru and child she was speaking about was Pride.Five years ago when she came to east blue for work she save Pride from a island that was slaughtered by pirates.Pride was only five months old at that time and Tsuru wanted to take care of Pride.

But as a Vice-admiral she was very busy and couldn't take care of Pride.So, she requested Rebecca to take care of Pride and Rebecca gladly accepted Pride as her grandchild.After handing over Pride to Rebecca she left for marineford and decided to visit Pride and Rebecca in her free time.

But in those five years she became very busy and didn't have any free time.So a few days ago she took a month off from her job and decided to visit Rebecca as she was very close to her.She also wanted to see how Pride was doing.

Seeing that it would take another half hour to reach Neko Island Tsuru turned around and returned to her cabin.

On the other hand~

Right now on Neko Island, in the middle of the forest Pride could be seen doing training unaware of the approaching marine ship and even if he knew he wouldn't be worried, it's not like Tsuru was coming to fight them.

Pride's Pov~

I was doing push up while carrying a rock that looked like 150kg but because I was training under heavy gravity of ×6 times the weight of the the rock increased to 900kg.

After an hour I finished doing push up and stood up while muttering, "Status~"

Looking at the Status I nodded my head.Even though the progress wasn't excessive it was still good and I was happy about learning a new fruit skill.Gravity float can decrease the weight things and make them float, if the skill is fully mastered then I can use those things to float in sky and travel from one place to another.

I thought, "It will take some time to fully master this skill and it seems that after mastering this skill the progress of gravity power will sky-rocket."

Then I looked toward my left and saw Mark was laid there like dead fish but he was full of sweat.It's not that Mark couldn't get used to the training even after six month, rather it's just that in those six month whenever he gets used to the training I will increase it.So,he always ends up like a dead fish.

Looking toward Mark I thought for sometime and then said to him, "Mark I think the progress you made in this six months is enough.We can start you swordsman training from tomorrow."

Just after I said this I saw Mark who laying like a dead fish suddenly stood up full of energy which made me speechless.Then looked toward me with excitement and asked, "Really Captain?! Are you telling the truth?"

Looking at Marks excited face I don't know why i wanted to tease him, " No~"

After hearing my reply Mark excited expression suddenly turned into a blank expression.

Seeing Mark's blank expression I really couldn't hold back my laugh and started to laughing, "hahahaha~"

After a few second blank expression turned into a angry expression. He couldn't hold back his anger any longer and tried to threw punches in my face while shouting : "stop joking around you bastard captain!! "

But none of his punch were able to hit my face as I was easily able to dodge them.

Seeing that Mark was very angry this time I didn't joke try to joke around anymore and said, "ok!ok! don't get angry anymore and stop punching, I was telling the truth you can start sword training from tomorrow"

Mark stoped punching but he still looked at me with suspicious as to make sure that I wasn't trying to tease him again and asked, "really, you are not joking?"

But this time I replied seriously, "Yes, you are ready.But you will still have to do physical training even if you start training with sword."

Then I saw Mark throwing a victory punch toward the sky and shouted with excitement, "YES!! Finally i will be able take my first step towards becoming a great swordsman"

Seeing his childish behaviour I didn't know what to after all Mark really was a child.Then I felt that I was hungry and said, "Stop shouting like a idiot and let's return home first as i am very hungry.We will return for training after eating."

Saying that I started walking toward the village.Mark also followed behind with a excited smile as he was thinking about training with sword.

In those six months I and Mark became very close friend.Mark now most of the time eats in my house and grandma Rebecca and grandpa Devid doesn't have any problem with it, Instead they were happy to see that I finally has a friend.

On there way I noticed many marines roaming around the village, I was surprised by this but then continued to ignore it and kept walking toward my home.

After sometimes I reached home with Mark following me.After we entered the restaurant I was surprised to see that Tsuru whom I last saw five years ago came to visit them, now I understand why there were marine roaming around the village.Even though I was surprised to see Tsuru I didn't show it in my face and started walking toward Rebecca who was chatting with Tsuru right now.

[Note for readers : Pride's home is the place where he lives with Rebecca and Devid.There house have 2 floor.In 1st floor there is restaurant which in owned by Rebecca and Devid and on the second floor there is many room like a big house and they live there]

After arriving in front of grandma Rebecca I said, "Grandma i am back~" then I made fake confused look while looking toward Tsuru as if he didn't know her and said, "Who is this, grandma?"

Grandma Rebecca smiled while looking at me then rubbed my head while saying "You can call her grandma Tsuru, you saw her when you were a baby so you may not remember it..."

She didn't want Pride to know that he was the sole survivor of a island that was slaughtered by pirates and his parents were also killed.

What she didn't know was that he knew everything~, it's just that he really didn't care about the past.

I then looked toward Tsuru and said with a wide smile, "Hello,Grandma Tsuru.Nice to meet you."

Seeing that I was calling her grandma Tsuru warmly smiled at me and strated walking toward me.After reaching me she rubbed my head with a smile while saying, "You have really grown up to healthy kid, Pride.The last time i saw you was five years ago you weren just a new born baby at that time~"

She was really shocked to see Pride.She knew Pride was old five years old he was so healthy that his body was like nine year old boy.Then she became happy thinking that her decision of handing Pride to Rebecca wasn't wrong.

Then Tsuru looked toward the Mark who was standing behind me with a dazed expression as if he was thinking about something. Tsuru then asked : "And who are you kid?"

Mark who was thinking about sword in dream came out his dream and said while bowing toward Tsuru "My name is Mark and nice to meet you grandma Tsuru."

Tsuru replied with a smile "Nice to meet you to Mark~"

Then everyone was interrupted by Rebecca, "Ok, sister Tsuru we can talk later, lets eat something first"

After hearing Rebecca they all walked upstairs to eat~~
